Everyone saying chadum got dunked on but tbh I can tell he has a clean ass cloud. He was winning neutral often enough and died to an SD game one, but kuramas punish game was too good
@@DGSnowolf idk, just seems like it could throw someone off, it’s not huge but I feel like my opponent treating me like a celebrity before we play could make me not play as calm, but like i said it’s a big skill diff and it’s pools anyways but after the set just seems like a better time.

@@paolosworld99 yea i know. i was talking about kurama specifically lol - just looking at his gameplay, it's super crisp and id love to experience it firsthand, but at the same time, the way he plays (seems to me, at least) pretty much means that his opponent doesn't get to play lol
@@paolosworld99prodigy is a few year younger than me I remember when I first discovered zenyou in smash 4 I discoevered rice and teb shortly after via the NorCal scene and they were talking about this prodigy guy this would have been in 2016-2017 I didn’t know he was young though
Chadum definitely gave up at the end of game 2. He held straight in so that he'd die. Noy way he should have died that early and he showed earlier that he knew how to di the combo to survive.
not gonna lie, i can actually see it happening lol. i dont think its super likely, but i dont think its impossible. the skill gap between everyone in like the top 20 is crazy small (maybe except for the elite four and everyone else lol), so i genuinely think that anyone in that range, like kurama, can take even a major this stacked. its just that kurama has to have the best run of his entire mf life to do it.

+ he was also a bit too predictable with his landings. Kurama got so many parries against him
@@atietta Agreed
I think nerves might've kicked in for him. I could be wrong tho. Chadam's Cloud is defo one to keep an eye on
Man took a selfie before getting absolutely throttled.
I get that it’s pools and kurama is a much better player but I still feel like it’s better manners to ask for a selfie after the set

@@raaseraphic well yeah preferably neither, but I doubt they meant that to imply that they’re fine with it before the game
Solid Cloud. The SD and the ill-advised down-B made this a shorter match than it should've been. Plus, it's Kurama.
When the set is only 5 minutes you know some carnage happens
@@ABC-ik9vj second game was 1:30, dude better than me but he got smashed
This cloud is actually sick just needs to work on his disadvantage state. Has some really bad habits
i both pity and envy any poor bastard who gets matched up against kurama in pools lol
Pretty much everyone in a big major like this has a top 20 player in their pool.
That's how seeding is supposed to work.
My first ever smash 4 tourney round 1 back in like 2016 was against him. Local represent!

LFG kurama! Excited to see you dominate!
This cloud is actually good
The player is good, A shame cloud is not good as a character anymore...
kurama need a team

1:24 How the grab miss tho
Cloud has the worst grab in the game
he was still in cooldown from his last grab
when you grab someone and throw or if they get out of it, you cant grab them again for a short while
Cloud is MID
No comment could spoil the five minute match 😭
❤❤❤
Damn.
5 MINUTES ⁉️⁉️⁉️⁉️😭
He lost when he took the picture
Kurama will win genesis 9
Nope
If that happens ill give you 5 dollars
I feel like it'll take a bit more time for a mario to win a major let alone genesis, but I feel like kurama will make a great run in this tournament
