Wait this is an important scene. a Major important scene. It might be the reason why Elijah cursed himself all his life with the task to help Klaus to find redemption: because he felt like he was responsable for Klaus becoming what he turned out to be.

Wow! That was intense. Why would they leave that out? I can think of some other scenes that could’ve been shortened that much so this scene could be included, especially knowing where they were headed with Elijah. But then again his character caught the proverbial short end of the stick a lot
They were too busy shoving Caroline down our throats for anyone else to get screen time like marcel for instance who got no goodbye scene with Klaus

Ok, Elijah and Stefan did bad things. But Klaus and Damon are reponsible for what they've became.

Neoshinsei Yes I agree Stefan and Damon are responsible . But in Elijah and Stefan mind everything they do they think is their fault .Stefan feels guilty making Damon turn into a vampire . Elijah feels guilty for the abuse klaus had to deal with . That is why they feel like it is there fault .

That wasn't left out, yes in that scene maybe. Hope would of read all the DIRES that Klaus had and defo Elijah so it b all in it.
But in show we all saw this happening .

Thank god they didn’t include this but it does explain a lot about why Elijah stayed by Klaus’s side. And Hope would’ve hated him after this scene cuz she would think it’s Elijah’s fault for Klaus’s actions and all. But why must they always make the good brother take the fall for the bad brother? (Also neither of them were good or bad but you get the point). Elijah deserved better, he should’ve gotten a life of his own and I’m saying this in the saddest nicest way possible

He is both correct and wrong, no is born evil and yet people can be mistakes. Elijah did not make Kluas a villein that was their parents and Nik himself.

They probably cut it bc it was already shown that Elijah helped with the binding spell in previous flashbacks throughout the show. It was already known if you paid attention.
