Fun Fact: Costco loses money on what they sell, because they sell it so cheap, they make all their money from the memberships, that is their business model. One of their best sellers is a whole cooked roasted chicken for $5.00, a friend of mine gets at least one of them a week. They sell them in plastic containers, so you can take it home and eat it, and it is still warm.

Costco is worth it if you buy in bulk. For my two person household, I don’t find it particularly useful because the only things we buy in large quantities are paper products like toilet paper and paper towels which we can get large packs of elsewhere. Large containers of food will go to waste before we use them most of the time. So it really just depends on the family and what their needs are. It’s also a great resource for small businesses

Nut butters last for months. Quality at Costco is excellent. I'd question it at Sam's club. I use almond flour to make baked goods, I'm a diabetic, no carbs in it. She missed the deal on the olive oil, the best ranked isn't the one she picked up. A lot of the stuff they were looking at has the discontinued mark on them. The vegan and impossible stuff. They put the price per lb/oz then the total price. In regular grocery stores they do price per lb/oz on loose produce and weigh it at the register. Be careful what you ask for, if we all had your address, we'd all be sending you guys food all the time!!! Also, stores like COSTCO exist for the joy of consumers because of capitalism and free enterprise. This is why our food options are over the roof. And one other thing....things are cheaper in the US because most of the things they bought were packaged (which likely has preservatives in it) and frozen things. These things can last a while on the shelf of a market before the market has to take it down prior to the expiration date and this allows profit. When you buy things fresh at a town market, it only lasts for a certain time frame before going bad. The food in other countries are for sure better for you because of this.

Honestly, $9.99 for a squishmallow is pretty good; where I live, you can hardly find them in any size for under $20.
That flotation device is essentially a wrap-around pool noodle.
Personally, I don't like those fruit bars; they're called bars, but they're more like sticks of jelly. Not a fan. And I'm wary of some vegan treats because yeah, a lot of them are terrible; my tip is if you've never tried it before, see if it comes in singles instead of full boxes & that way if you do like them you'll know to get the boxes next time & if not, that's less money wasted.
Plantains are in the banana family, but they're harder & have to be cooked before you can eat them. I do actually like plantain chips, so I buy them a lot when my store has them on sale.
Bush's does make vegetarian baked beans which are just as good as those with bacon. I swear, if you guys didn't badmouth your government so much, I'd love to send you some stuff but you're always saying you'd never get it. Hope you can visit the US soon.
The main difference I noticed between those large bags of rice & what their son had was his was easy to make (just put in the microwave) whereas those bags require a rice cooker; I'd rather have the cilantro lime rice.

A couple of things are common among ALL grocery stores here in the U.S. Doesn't matter if it's Cosco, Sam's Club or your local large grocery store chain. Always, always check prices. Some things are much cheaper, other items are not and if it's "organic" it is always at least twice the price of non-organic. It's the cheaper prices that draw you in because you think everything will be cheaper. It's my understanding that the U.K. is much stricter than the U.S. on the type and use of pesticides so they are more into the organic stuff. Here in the U.S. a certain portion of the population prefer organic foods/shopping but the majority of the population is not. Because of this organic foods are much more expensive here. I'm so old that organic is a waste of money for me. I shop for quality and reasonable prices.
