Top right plug#1, top left #2, bottom left #3, bottom right #4 VW Jetta 2013 2.0 . Solved all my problems!
Thank you so much Scott! I went to a auto shop and they were going to charge me $870(parts and labor) to do exactly what you did in these videos. This is definitely not rocket science and I’ll be definitely using these videos as I go through the process myself. You got yourself a subscribe from me!
Glad to help and good luck on your diy repair.

Thank you! The job went well after watching this. She definitely moves quicker after the wire and spark change. How often do you recommend changing the wires?
If I replace spark plugs do I need to replace these too?
2014 jetta S has blinking CEL and ECP light. Car started idling really rough the other day and shaking a bit. Power loss when driving. Now it just stalls out. I replaced spark plugs.
Thanks for the awesome video!
Just finished the spark plugs were nasty 🤢, new plugs 🔌 on but the coil should be fine but I ordered it still waiting. Thank you for the step by step!
My 2013 jetta is bringing up the same codes but there is no engine light on. I changed all everything in the ignition system too.
Any advice helps
I need to do this on my 1.4TSI. Ignition coils and spark plugs were replaced but it's still having those same codes.
Thank you very much! You helped me very much
Excellent video, thank you!

How to replace maf mass air flow sensor on 2011 vw jetta 2.0L
I have a random misfire as well as misfires for 1 and 4. Did your EPC light come on like mine? Also, I was talking to a mechanic and he mentioned something about reinstalling the air intake duct; any comments on that?
EDIT: I just realized the age of the video so anything that you may remember that you can provide me with will still be helpful and appreciated. Thanks!
I’m fixing mine right now and my epc light came on and flashes the check engine light and it’s caused by the wires and plugs
Your the man thank you my friend.
Do you have to reset/remove the error codes? If so how?
If the repair has been made properly and the problem is fixed, the light should clear within 70 to 90 miles. If you want to force the light off, you will need a OBD2 reader with the capability to clear codes.
@@ScottiesHobbies Thanks a lot man! Much appreciated.
@markim9728 no problem! Glad to help. 👍🏻
im trying to replace the coils but cant seem to find a way to take the manifold off any tips
Is it the same engine, year, make, model? I did the coil on this one too, if you look at my other vids you should be abke to find it.
Scotties Hobbies yes same vehicle but I'm trying to get to the coils i have replaced the ignition coil and am trying to get to the coils to put them in but they are under the manifold if I'm not mistaking
Check this vid out and let me know if its any different or if thats what ya need: ruclips.net/video/y16rhV4Ea0Y/видео.html
Scotties Hobbies yes I have done all of that already and the car is still driving the same I even went to the dealership to get it diagnosed and they said it was all the parts I have replaced that were bad
If you replaced the coil in the vid I gave you then you have replaced the only ignition coil on the car. When you replaced the parts did you get cheap parts or OE quality? Have you done a compression check? and any codes stored in the computer?
Where are you located? I could use your services, seriously 😂
