You're spot on with the parallels between the Klon and a Burst. I can't see the Klon ever reaching such prices but I don't think anyone thought a '59 would cost more than your average house when they discontinued it in '60! 😬😬
Major difference though...how many '59s that are playable do you see for sale...pretty much zero... whereas there ard 10 real klons for sale on Reverb..right now.. today...well I presume they are not fake..so hard to tell...so they really are not that rare... .. bear in mind it has taken the '59 nearly 60 years to get to that value...so I reckon Chris will be about 90 when his investment comes good....😉

This is the most interesting and insightful video on this pedal available on the internet now… the internet didn’t need another ‘comparison’ blah blah….
Now, in your extremely well articulated ‘feature’ here - you cut through all the ‘hype’ bs so straight, and then go on to make your point that that ‘hype’ is the only real remaining reason why one should ever consider buying one of these pedals at the moment. Two thumbs up, man! … truth be told, you helped me to finally take the call and pull the trigger on investing in one.😂
And.. oh… Your playing… does one really need to comment on that!? Nah!❤
World class playing, Chris.
You are a brilliant player. Unique. Love Your playing!
