THIS.. Is just sheer automotive pleasure at a climax. Today's cars are "electronics and gizmos" compared to this. I'd rather stick to the (not very original.. I know!) blue with white stripes, but don't hear me wrong, this black on black combo with ghost stripes on top is just mind-boggling to look at. It's just so smooth and aggressive at the same time 🇺🇲 Who said blue with white stripes again..? 🤔
The motor is a 351 Windsor roller block stroked to a 408. Has a scat 9000 crank with with 4340 ibeam connecting rods, probe 22cc dished pistons. Custom grind comp cam, decked and ported RHS heads with an edelbrock rpm dual plane intake. 1.6 comp ultra gold rockers, Holley sniper fuel injection. Trans is a tremec tko600 with .82 overdrive. Rear end is an 8.8 with 355 gears. Wheels area a staggered setup 17x9 fronts and 17x10.5 rears. Tires 245/40/17 fronts with 315/35/17 rears.
I must be really overlooking something - because I can't find the website for reaper customs. Its a common name, but I don't see anything with this type of build quality or focus.
I have two Cobras, each geared a little differently but yes, 3 to 4 is exciting. Here's why: Taking off in 1st is a little difficult because the car is light and it's hard to get it to grab. When you shift into 2nd you have to be careful also because the tires can very easily break loose. Shifting into third is about the same in any performance car, but what's interesting about the Cobra is that in third gear you're going nearly a 100 miles an hour - Shift into fourth gear and you still get thrown back into the seat, and the car pulls all the way up past 120 miles an hour or more - if your balls are big enough. 😂 Also interesting is being an overdrive in fifth gear at say 75 miles an hour on the freeway. Slam it into fourth, mash the gas, and the car takes off. It's fun when you're on the freeway and people give you a thumbs up. Then you can do this and wave good bye!!!
