    I am in the same boat. Your point is well made, that by the time you catch on to the extent of the rip off it is often past the “buyers remorse” interval. Just about everything that happened to you also happened to me.
    I am taking your tips, but am also reporting to BBB, FCC, ATT, my state Attorney General, state senators. Small claims court is now on my list.
    I wonder how much lobbyists have been paid for the government to keep a blind eye to this RAMPANT issue impacting so many.
    The tone of you video turned my mood around today.

    Oh my God, I am going through this EXACT scenario. My crooked sales guy was from Target. DO NOT GET AT&T SERVICE FROM TARGET!!! What a scam, nearly $3k in the hole...

      yeah and i have people all the time refuse to do business with me because i dont have BJ or costcos deals, and im just like man i wouldnt want someone a quarter as skilled as me building out my mobile account.
      that’s a good way to end up with a mess

    We dropped AT&T almost immediately after we signed up with their cell phone service. They lied to us on the promo-phones and the plans. We ended up buying our phones outright through Samsung and apple and then found cell service on a different carrier. There are countless stories of AT&T ripping people off and it is amazing how that company is still in business.

    AT&T is definitely shady. I called to make a phone payment or something one day then we got to talking about apple watches. And they said they have a buy one get one. So I was like sweet I wanna do it. So they said they’ll send me a email to accept the terms so I did and I did it in a hurry without actually stopping to verify everything the lady said. Long story short I was kinda wanting to see what I still owed on the watch and found out that they charged me for both so I ran to look at the agreement and yep sure enough they’re charging me for both. I’m always trying to lower my bill because it seems like once I have a phone paid off or something changes my bill never goes down. I just can’t figure out what I’m paying for half the time because they make it so difficult to to maneuver on the app and even the website just to see what I’m paying for.

      you might b wrong about this because the bogo watch deal was a real thing for a long time.
      on your bill, look at the lefthand column on the summary and see if there is a negative amount.
      thats the way equipment is discounted on bills via a credit on the account to offset the installment value.

    I am currently going through the same drama with AT&T. It is exactly the same experience you described here in your video. I am paying way more than what rhe sales guy told me I would have to. Moreover they say if I want to cancel the service and return their phones, I would have to pay more than $2,000 for my 3 promotional phones. RIDICULOUS!

      I almost sue them! But I think I will still gather information to sue them as class action! I am here to stand for the whole community they cheated and scammed! Not just about scam myself! Extremely hateful this Att think they are big company so they doing this things fong decade!

    Thank you for making this video! It's the first I've found like it. I'm going through arbitration as well but expected to submit paperwork and communicate via the same network, and devices they control. I have yet to speak to a real person . But that's ok, they may win arbitration which will give me more time to prepare my appeal. I wish you the best and anybody here going through the same thing. Keep fighting

    Thank you for this video! I just switched to AT&T from Sprint and instead of just giving me two Lines for me and my wife at under 200 a month, I get my first bill a week later and it’s three lines for 318 a month because 115 of it is that third one. I’m on my way there now and I’m furious

    I had been fired from AT&T for being too honest with customers. I would show them all exactly what I would do with their accounts so everyone is on the same page so that nothing is kept from them. Management hated me because I was only helping the consumer more. They fired me for not selling everything although everything shouldn’t be sold if it doesn’t benefit the customer

    Ok guys please listen, I was told that Att would charge high prices and charge you for things you never asked for, I thought this person was exaggerating. I am in education, I asked my class what they thought about att. My students may not care about economics, but they know what’s up with phone carriers and what is a scam. Holy cow!!!!!!! Leaving Verizon was the biggest mistake!!!!!! As I write this, I am filling out the the arbitration forms, people att has no ethics, you're literally dealing with the mob or mafia. They over charged me for the taxes on the phones that I purchased from them, I called in to tell them the situation, the lady was real nice and told me the system would catch it and refund my credit card, negative. A month later, they are telling me the charges are legal and there is no basis for a refund. I told them I had credit card statements and the purchase summary for the phones showing how they overcharged. This att rep did not want to hear this and told me to dispute the extra charges with the credit card company, Savage. Guys I can keep going, don’t even get me started with directv, which is owned by att. These practices that att employ are great injustices and they have little regard for the consumer. People we need to unite and bring awareness to these fraudulent practices. Esprit de corps. By the way, nice video dude, very informative. One thing before I go, you don’t need to hire this group you mentioned. You can take it to small claims court or take it to arbitration. In both situations, att will reimburse you for the fees. I have represented my self against an arrogant cop in San Antonio and won the case and I have also been victorious in arbitration against Geico insurance. I really wish I could give you all my email and maybe we could unite and hit att where it hurts, their bottom line. In summing things up guys, we all have rights read about the UCC article 2. Implied warranty of merchantability or the perfect tender rule which is what I used against Best buy and won. At the end of the day, read and know your rights always empower yourself. Good luck people in your future endeavors. A little bit of motivation, I'm no genius. I was ranked dead last in my class; left for dead purty much, then I started reading and talking to smart people and just listened. Viola.....If I can do it, you can do it as well. If anyone wants to take this to the next level, I'm down.

      Dude Same thing happens to us with our wireless we were offer a price and then got another one and even though we have recordings of the guy att agent Miguel Gomez and his supervisor Sonny Medina in southbay Telling us in the first days and in the next few months that they’re going to fix the issue that we were going to get the price promise and nothing happens . And AT&T knows about it and there’s nothing they do..We should all go in the lawsuit together and have more power

      They have taken a month to come and hook tv phone and internet up. They kept telling me I never called them to set up the installation appointment. They also kept changing days on us. Finally we did get everything installed. But it's been he'll.

      I’ve helped 1,000+ customers in this role at AT&T never once lied and always lower peoples bills with 25% off with internet bundle when switching also with $250 per line visa and free phones price never changed

      @@johnringolll4517 let people know about this scam: SCAM ALERT Guys, there is someone impersonating to be an att rep. If u r a new customer, please continue reading. The scammer will ask if u received your reward card. They will have your name, address, and are aware that u r getting a reward card. They know the expiration date and the first 8 digits of the card. They will pretend like they r going to add more funds. It’s a scam. Don’t give them any information.

    Sorry for what you went thru, i actually had that “channel” come to my house and pitch his sale just like you went thru. However the sales rep explain to me that it can take up to 2 months before the promotions kick in, I gave him the benefit of the doubt and waited. On my 3rd bill the promotions were on the account and my bill is exactly what he quoted me on. I got 4 iphone 12’s for “Free” after the monthly credits i got back. I guess it depends on the rep you got our state you in. Hopefully you can get it resolved. Best of luck

    I went through with this over a year ago from your video I’m currently in the process of the American arbitration association against AT&T. At first AT&T offered me $100 in credit towards the $5k bill that I don’t even owe them than $200 than $300 all the way up to $1000 In bill credits . Now that the arbitration has started AT&T has hired an attorney and they came out with a bunch of bogus paperwork saying I agreed too all this stuff that I did not and they shared it to an email that both parties (me and AT&T) have been told too upload our proofs to . We already had our initial meeting me representing myself and AT&T sent an attorney on their behalf. It’s a little stressful going up against these professional crooks they’ve hired because AT&T is trying too counter sue me for the $5k now as well 🙏 for me not sure what’s going too happen but I’m stressed out

      I'm having a problem with AT&T once again. I started off with internet and a year later got Uverse TV. Someone combined the two and my basic cable bill kept going up to $300 or more every month. They could never tell me why it happened. It all got disconnected and I only needed internet. I had to pay over $350 just to get my $10 a month internet service back. I would've switched , but At&t and MaxxSouth are the only companies I could choose from in my complex. Neither are any good.
      I had to return my equipment to AT&T and I did. I also got a confirmation email for AT&T which I still have, stating they received that equipment. My children mistakenly threw away my receipt from the UPS store. Now I just found out my credit score dropped pretty big because they just sent this mess over to a collection's agency. They say I owe them $340 for the equipment. They told me they have proof on my account that I did return it, but keep lying about fixing the issue and giving me a zero balance letter. I just contacted FairShake and hope to get some results soon.

    I work for AT&T, I'm a rep. I'm on your side, and I will gladly help anyone understand how this company operates at the retail level. I swear one day, I should just start a consulting business to help provide the truth behind what really goes on. Consumers, I know it's easy to finance your $1000 dollar i phone with 0 interest. If you would find cheaper phones, or used phones, buy them outright and join a prepaid service. It's literally half the cost. Unfortunately, nobody at AT&T will tell you this because they don't get paid very much on it. I"m sorry you had this experience. If it helps, you or anyone is welcome to reach out to me. I will provide you the information you need to make good decisions. I pride myself on being open and honest with my customers.

      Anthony R. Pompa I called att last Oct 2019 to change over to fiber after att explained to me that because that if we bundled our bill then we would only pay $50 plus tax for 12months because we had an att cell phone service that was able to be included in the bundle to lower our bill. I spoke to att 3 or more times making sure they were documenting our bundle correctly because we've been burned before by att. We got our bill and no changes at all. I called again and they all sound like robots repeating what we say and then ask what do we want them to do. Because they cannot give us that kind of pricing. I told them that they were already suppose to give it to me because it was offered to me 4 times. They turned off our service to switch us to fiber and the installer never showed up nor called. We were out of our internet for almost a week. I called the rep back and talked to a manager. The manager lowered the bill that we had owed. We got our first bill and it was the same amount as us paying for dsl. We changed over to fiber to save more money but not 1 but all of the reps were lying. I called att back today and they claim that they don't have plans like that with no record of who we talked to. I asked them to get me to the department that I was corresponding with in the beginning. att said that they don't have any record of who I was speaking with. Liars Liars. What would you recommend Anthony because I'm done with att and if I cancel to a plan that I didn't agree to then they are going to try to charge me fees. I agreed to different plan, not the one that we currently have. Thank you

      misuzia1 i work for ATT as well in customer loyalty//retention; call in and tell them you want to cancel the service since they’re not giving you the promised pricing: you will be transferred to loyalty department && let them get the price lowered for you... also if you have your Customer service summary with the original order && pricing details on it; let them know so they can contact premium support team for assistance to get the quoted pricing for you.. i’m sorry you’re going through this

      Here’s my remark. Anything i can do to help organize a Massive call-in to the local stores (since none of the managers will put you in touch with the regional supervisor ), I’m all-in.
      Veterans & Seniors WARNING!ATT in Brevard (Melbourne/West Melbourne, FL, pulled same scam on us. Not only did they sign us up for $17 add-on, after i explicitly refused, the managers refused to provide contact for their regional spvsrs!
      Google: ATT insurance without consent, and let your contacts know of the scam.
      Also, dial any store & ask for Mgr in your town. Tell them you’re on to the scam and make calls to: a) Better Business Bureau, Veterans of Foreign War Posts, American Legion Posts and mention it daily.
      My service dog now wears a shirt: “ATT CHEATS VETS.”
      BTW, notice that all these companies now have offshore call centers in the Philippines, Nicaragua and India. -All of whom are run by dictators.
      Why do they call it “American T&T? Gain your confidence and cheat you when they can.

      Well right now I’m trying to return the modem and wire att claims they’ll charge me for if I don’t return after I ended service with them but they absolutely refuse to send me the info via email to return these items. I’ve called them well over 8x now and they always say they’ll send an email and never do. I just need to print a label and send it back but they won’t send it to me

    Thank you for your post. This is a systematic problem with ATT. It is disturbing and disappointing at the very least. This sounds similar to filing an insurance claim.

    Been there done that: For future reference, never purchase an ATT product or service from what is called an "ATT Retailer." For instance, if you purchase ATT thru a Best Buy store or a Sam's Club, Apple store or other ATT Retailer, ATT shifts responsibility for fixing problems to the ATT Retailer. If you purchase direct from ATT, like your online ATT account, or from an ATT store, then there is no third party entity (i.e., ATT Retailer) involved to muddy up things. I hope this helps someone out there who is making plans.I learned about this the hard way!

      @@marianoarriaga6154 Not really. You missed the point. Nobody is accused of being bad. I'll state is simply here again, and maybe you will get it. Retail sellers of ATT are between the customer and ATT. They are not ATT, and they cannot represent ATT. If a problem needs resolving, ATT shifts the issue to the retailer, who can try to fix it, but the retailer does not have access to adequate ATT resources and policy decision-making to solve some problems. It is as simple as that. My experience with people who are retailers of ATT - like Sam's Club and Best Buy stores - are really good people and try to fix problems, but they simply do not work for ATT, and that is why ATT refers retail customers back to them for problem solving.

    I am going through the same thing right now, I am going to contact fairshakes to start the process, AT&T company hires people who are ok to lie cheat the customers and hope that the customers are going to not do anything and that will be the end of it....but if you make noise they will compensate you.

    Same thing happened to me. Exact same thing! Thankfully I realized it within 12 hours of switching and was able to switch my account back to Sprint. I have seen this happen over and over again. It’s horrible. Something needs to be done. AT&T pays people to sign up customers so there is a huge incentive for the sales people to sign up as many people as they can even if they are lying about things as that is how they get paid.

      There is an att forum where ta scammer with an Indian accent calls pretending to be a from att and they’ll ask for your reward card info. They already have our info, and some of the card info. We think it’s someone from att that is giving this information to the scammer. Once my contract is over, I will never ever get att again.

    I've been having similar problems and I suspect that the attorneys representing the plaintiffs is also working for AT&T. This is illegal of course but they have their ways. Namely, paying people off.

    I upgraded in April of this year 2022 using the Att Next program. Turned in my old device within a week. Got the new iPhone. Started to notice I wasn’t receiving any promotion credits on my account. So I end up calling and they tell me everything is fixed and to wait 30-60 days( also 24-48 hours) still no change to my account. Mind you over the course of 5 months being told this about 4 times. And BAM I get charged 300 dollars for a non return device. So I call and threaten to cancel my service and they give me credits. I also report them to the Better Business Bureau. The Executive office calls me and says the reason for the charge is because I didn’t have the Next upgrade. So even at the executive level they aren’t tracking what’s going on… they let me keep the credits and appreciate them fixing the issue but wow. This company is a mess.

    When you are redirected to customer service and you hear that accent Fillipino or Indian or Mexican they will ask you for all your information and store it on a non AT&T server and that company will eventually sell that info for couple hundred grand to the highest bidder around the world. Then they us people finder to locate you, age, friends, neighbors, your house and then these scammers from India call you pretending to be IRS and you wonder how do you know all of my past addresses and how did you find what my property taxes are ,they then use Zillow and use google maps to confirm stuff nearby. and they have all your relatives info. Bank info they can find as your close to a bank near by. Your license plates you can look up on the DMV sites Vin number and when it expires make and model which is usually your security question online.

    I'm dealing with the exact same issue. I was at Sam's club on Labor Day getting tires and was inquiring about directv streaming to get the NFL network package. Next thing you know this trainer and trainee are getting my personal information and putting it in their ipad to get me a new phone when I had just got a phone with T-Mobile which was a new Carrier for me at the time. Not only did they lie about promotions but they sent me 3 streaming boxes when I only wanted to so I sent those back immediately and I got a Package with a phone and I ended up sending that back without opening it and now I got this $152 outstanding bill for service that I'd never activated or wanted. When I call them they want me to write a letter explaining the situation which is even more of a hassle and time out of my schedule. I am so annoyed with AT&T. Absolutely hands down the worst service provider on the planet. It's a complete Mickey Mouse operation.

    Wish I would have seen this earlier. Salesman came to our house via a referral from friend. Supposedly set us up with home internet & new wireless cell service. Told us we’d be paying $80 less a month than our previous T-Mobile billing. How wrong & scam based this was…we’ve been billed double our quoted price & customer service is pathetic. We have no home internet yet because wiring has never been completed & there was a missing box to connect router.
    This has become a huge mess for us & wish we’d never changed service. ATnT is the absolute worst cell service carrier! Do not get scammed like we did.

    Had a bad experience the other day. I’m guessing they are commission based on top of their minimum wage hourly.. so most (if not all) sales rep are greedy for their sales. Will say anything just to get you to sign up. Even goes to secretly adding it. Dude switched my plan and added additional insurance and crap on it. Found out when I came home and looked on my account. Ended up cancelling all the unnecessary add-on. It’s always a headache with att.

    After spending five hours and speaking to fourteen representatives in your company from the Loyalty department, the land line department, the service department, the billing department, and the cell service department I am very upset and disappointed at the way I have been shuffled around from person to person with the common phrase “I CAN’T HELP YOU!” I wish I could be grateful for the service you have provided my family. Unfortunately I have spoken to eleven people who have shuffled me to the next person to help me with my bill paying experience and no one can help me with this.

    just going to put this out there to everybody complaining about their first month Bill looking different, you're told that the discounts are going to take two to three billion cycles to be put on your bill and the reflection of your first bill shows activation fees and such. also when it comes to actually paying your bill is when you'll see the real amount that you ow e instead of getting the bill statement because for some reason AT&T can't figure out how to give you the correct price right away but it's there

      Say what you want but I to am a customer and yeah I saw what you're talking bout on the first 2 bills but when they still try to charge a ONE TIME CHARGE ACTIVATION FEE for 3 bills in a row and say it was a mistake after the first 2 bill cycles you damn well know att is trying to rob people out of their money. You can sit there and say what you want but they are some damn crooks. Their customers have to stay on top of their crooked asses to make sure they aren't over chagred.

    I was told that the only service in my area they offered was one of their lowest plans but that it was more than sufficient for video streaming, multiple devices, etc. and it was all false. The only customer service tech that actually was honest had me remove multiple devices to get the tv to run streaming better and then months later I received a charge for going over how much internet was being used supposedly. First off not much because only 3-4 devices even received connection at this point, I usually had to rely on T-Mobile for connection which is horrible in my town but now that I’ve ended service with att they won’t give me the label info to send them back their shitty modem and wire. You’re supposed to send it back within so much time and instead they refuse by playing games to send me their info to send it. Ups here won’t accept drop off for att modem without a label because we don’t actually have a store where I live. In fact one place att claims we can just merely drop off without a label was frustrated when I tried to do just that and said they don’t have it set up to send back without a label but yet they continue to get customers coming in like me. Super frustrating, their service is crap and their staff are put in a bad spot because they either lie for their boss essentially or they’re honest and risk their job. It’s bad all around
    Update: I called after watching this and another video on this same issue and finally got a girl to send me the label to be returned. I wasn’t very friendly but after requesting for a simple label confirmation 8+ times you lose patience! If you face the same problem, know it doesn’t take 2-3 business days to get an email, I refused to get off the phone till I saw the email. She sent it to me while I stayed on the phone and we didn’t hang up till I had it open and confirmed. I did have to try a second email but it worked

    I am being charged $2069 dollars for a promotion that supposedly was going to be 750 for two iPhones 11’s, and I told them to turn on autopay and they never did so when i was two months behing the bill it says that i have to pay $2069 fucking dollars are you kidding me?!!       I got $1867 bill WTF that’s more than my mortgage and they are not trying to budge one bit as far as helping me take care of it or lower the payment I asked for a payment plan they told me OK yeah sure but you still have to make your regular monthly payment so we did hear that the one month that you are behind interest monthly payment I get the next bill is 600 some dollars so I feel your pain I get two checks retard made the payment for those text the same day they return and I can’t even use my account bank account to make payment they suspended me for six month July I had one they spending me to mount the month that it was missed it I got another lethargic do the fact they put submit their checks two days in advance of the auto pay so now I gotta wait another six months according to the rest even though I have made on-time payments payments that have made it credit to my account and I get no kudos for that big suspend it in charge port within a weeks time he’s been in one week paid it and then the next following week that’s been it again they recognize it was their fault we’re still charge me it’s always we’re gonna put this on your next bill we’re gonna put this on your next built but when they wanna see you so don’t wait on that

      Dude Same thing happens to us with our wireless we were offer a price and then got another one and even though we have recordings of the guy att agent Miguel Gomez and his supervisor Sonny Medina in southbay Telling us in the first days and in the next few months that they’re going to fix the issue that we were going to get the price promise and nothing happens . And AT&T knows about it and there’s nothing they do..We should all go in the lawsuit together and have more power or please let us know if you fix your problem

Thankfully, it was resolved but it took... about 6months for me to get my money back and they would randomly turn my phone off saying I owed that amount.

      SCAM ALERT Guys, there is someone impersonating to be an att rep. If u r a new customer, please continue reading. The scammer will ask if u received your reward card. They will have your name, address, and are aware that u r getting a reward card. They know the expiration date and the first 8 digits of the card. They will pretend like they r going to add more funds. It’s a scam. Don’t give them any information.

    That bill was a pro rated bill. It takes up to three months for promotional credits to apply. $700 trade in credit take up to three cycles too. Not signing up for autopay is also costly too because the price quoted with autopay. Every first bill is going to be higher brotha.

      Did you sign up for an AT&T wireless service? My mom worked for AT&T. Sge said you should read the terms and conditions sent to your email. Wait for the first bill. Usually for new accts (BYOD) you'll be charged base on your plan. The credit that was offered will take effect after 2 billing cycles. The price of the plan being disclosed are always "before taxes" sofor unlimited started plan not enrolled in autopay it is $75 before taxes every month. But it is way different if you purchased a phone.

      if you're a long time customer of AT&T, ask for the expiration of your contract. If you have been with AT&T for 2 years and haven't updated or upgraded any equipment or did not set up your acct under voluntary suspension, that means you don't have any existing contract with them. you can now tell them that if they need to adjust your bill since you're not properly disclosed about billing cycle and charges. If they insisted or sustained it, ask for a supervisor. if they connect you over to a supervisor, you can insist the adjustment, don't hang up and don't say anything about cancelling. insist the adjustment.. they will surely offer you an amount but offer will not equal tge charges they applied. make them apply the adjustment first and make sure to check it online. after you've confirmed that the credit was applied, you can tell them you to connect you to the retention. You can ask credit to retention too.. they will offer credit so you won't cancel.

      I make over six figures a year doing this exact job and I can tell you they’ve gone through so many changes and crack downs, I wish more states valued what I value. We literately save people money and give them free phones every single time unless they have like a third-party carrier because of bundle pricing.
      I’ve never lied to a customer and I really enjoy what I do and they have fired a few people from my area within the last three months because of shady practices

    Att sales person a internet plan and say you have free 30 days, free installation, and free HBO Max. They started my month bill 10 days before the installation, there was no 30 days free and Hbo max was available in the next tier of service. I call them 5 days in the row and they didn't have service, hang up on me and refuse to get me to a supervisor. Never again.

      Yes the company i talked about get me out of the contract with no fees and also i got to keep 2 out of the 3 phones for free

    We’ve been with them 4 years now. At 1st we were paying 280 a month for 2 years then we upgraded but took the 800 $ off two new iPhone 14’s and was told it would lower our bill to 180. The first couple months it was over 300 then it went to 280 or around it. Now it’s 225 and there saying it’ll stay at 225. All they do is lie and make excuses why it’s at where it is. Stuck on there shitty contract for a year and a half so gotta wait to switch.

    At&t had not changed.
    I have no home phone service and have had no service almost a month.
    At&t says workers are on strike and there's no telling when I will have phone service.
    I'm told I'm still expected to pay my monthly phone bill even though I have no service.
    I get a complete don't care attitude

      Hey you can file a complaint form with fairshake for free, I got response in less than 48hours. Add enough information so they can send your claim with paperwork to AT&T- file a claim here: 👉 fairshake.com/att/corporate-office/?IRC=Hambali-RF39 was able to get them resolve my complaints in less than 48hours.

    The sales person that sold me my phones was very misleading about the way the so called free phones deal worked and my bill was not what it was supposed to be. I would advise any person looking for a phone service to buy your phone from someone else and use a prepaid plan.

    Thank you for making this, AT&T is a shit show. They have added amounts onto my bill without plausible cause an I need to inquire about it still, this inspired me to. There are federal laws that protect consumers and I didn’t know this until I work at an attorneys office. Look up federal laws protecting consumers. I won’t be calling them. I’ll be mailing them a letter with proofs and tracking. Everything in writing.

      Yep! My area only offers a low plan and other than that we have cox, that’s it. I’m not happy with either company. My att internet was soooooo bad I had to remove multiple devices from Wi-Fi connection just to watch some live streams and then a couple months later I received a warning that somehow after I removed most of my devices I’d somehow used up my plan and was going to be charged a hefty fee if I didn’t upgrade (not for better service) but more gigs so I wouldn’t go over. Again this is after I removed majority of my devices off just to watch tv sometimes. Since ending service I’ve had a couple att ppl tell me I shouldn’t have been charged, that it looks wrong to them but nothing ever becomes of it and I haven’t been reimbursed for these overcharges

    Dude they did the same thing to me! Except I asked for a quote when the first person stopped by to tell my could save money on my cell phone while my internet was getting hooked up at the house I just moved into. The rep told me they would email the quote to me but it was today only and I never received the email so I just wrote that offer off. The “install” took several hours but I didn’t care because I took the day off work knowing how these things go from my past experience. No complaints, the tech hooked my internet up after a few hours and a few hiccups. But the internet was functioning like it should at the end of the appointment so I was more than satisfied. Then someone else shows up after the tech leaves and apologizes for how long the process took (which I didn’t think was that long) and offers a discount on the internet (which hasn’t since been reflected on my internet bill, but it was only 5 dollars a month so it’s not worth me dealing with AT&T over). Then he offers me an even better deal than the rep who came before him on cell service… I took the bait, he got my old Verizon phone, said they would pay it off and give me a new iPhone and total my bill would $65 per month for cell service with a new phone included…. After getting a call from a collections agency over the money owed on my old phone and paying that, I still pay more than double what I was promised for the cell service, and all I get is a text saying my bill is due and my cell service doesn’t show up on “my AT&T app” after numerous phone calls requesting it to be added so I can easily pay my wireless bill like I do my internet… I got screwed
