Silent Hill: Downpour is a new Silent Hill video game for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, developed by Vatra Games and published by Konami. Downpour marks the eighth installment (Silent Hill 8) in the series, and is the third seventh generation Silent Hill game.
The protagonist of the game is a convict, Murphy Pendleton. Downpour begins with Murphy sitting inside a prisoner transport bus that is traveling along Interstate 95 on a rainy night. However, things go awry as the bus steers out of control and sails off the side of the road, entering the nearby woods. Murphy, after looking at the remains of the bus, enters the forest as an attempt to escape. Along the way, he encounters Anne Cunningham, a corrections officer attempting to track the remaining prisoners down.

I love how Brad says he'll use the gun if a boss fight comes up and then forgets he has it two seconds later when he sees the boogeyman.

Great walkthrough !! Silent Hill is my fave series, and 2nd game is my fave and then, 3rd ! :D This creature reflects his personality. He fought with his personality, his anger towards his son's death.
I like how before he went into saint maria's he was at 39% and almost instantly is at 70% this games pacing is so weird
A lot of what he was doing at the start were optional side quests that at this point he hasn't completed. That's why it feels like the pacing is off. The game's markers of completion only pertain to the main quest so for a while all that he was doing wasn't contributing to it at all.

I have to say that after AMNESIA all the other games havent scared me at all...maybe some suspense and momentary intensity but NOT SCARED AT ALL AS AMNESIA...AMNESIA CLEANS YOUR FEARS AWAY AND MAKES YOU BRAVER....these games (including Dead Space 2) are not that scary (much less the Fear Series...so linear) good job dude with this gameplay
Reasons I love your walkthroughs:
1. You don't talk like a douche during the cutscenes.
2. You don't attack everything you see.
3. You just made an Office Space reference.
I might dare say you're better than Cloud8745. Keep up the good work. I could watch a full walkthrough and get through the entire game, but I love these so much more.
brad when resident evil 6 comes out u have to give it try i know operation raccoon city was a game ur not enjoying very much but capcom even said that operation raccoon city was just something to fill in the gap for resident evil 6 it wasnt supposed to be a major game.

i love this game even the combat system i give it a 9.5 i would've give it a 10 if when you throw a weapon and you dont lose it Silent Hill FTW!

all of these are the random monsters in the game every silent game have their own monsters even pyrimad head u don't have to fight him only see him in the story and for this silent hill game its a new style like if you're playing another game alot of difference between them at the end i don't see them like bosses cuz i have to fight them over and over but bogeyman yea its a new thing

Yeah he build a whole community from that game. He played decently for about 20 episodes and took a month or two break. He then started the series called "Dark souls Reloaded!" The promise was to do at least 2 videos a week of Dark Souls... He put out like 3 episodes LMAO. THEN a few more months pass, then Finally this video comes and he explains he is done.
Kinda gets annoying imo.
Just asking, is that dude on that table also that dude from the beginning of the game? cause they mention at the beginning of the game that it was his neighbor, and you had to kill him at the beginning. IDK why, but it seems to make sense why the main character was in jail in the first place if he was just reminiscing about the past. (P.S. I never played this game before, this just my thought of it)
oh yeah i actually just found out about that i realized at the end that at the end murphy turns to be the police cunninghams bogeyman and he did or didnt kill police coleans that deterimines if you decide to kill police cunningham but you know i hate the fact theres no pirimid head and the fact is he is a rip off of the butcher and bogeyman is a rip off of the butcher
Inorite? He has so much ammo and keeps complaining about the monsters beating him up, but he goes up to the guy with the cinder-block hammer and melees him. Geez...
Also i do not even know if Brad actually likes difficulty or not, he seems to keep griping on puzzles and is more frustrated than usual at dying.
this part is really deep. the guy who Murphy killed at the beginning of the game (Napier) molested charlie, Murphy's son and threw him in the lake. so Murphy stole and drove a cop car so he could get in jail and kill Napier. but by killing him he became evil, he became a bogeyman. that's why when he killed the bogeyman, it had his/Napier's face.
This game is very jumper and horror
Brad wouldn't be bothered to study his enemy's attack pattern even when it's so fuqing easy to figure out? And he took sooo freaking long each time sorting out puzzles! But I guess that's what made him so badass so I'm giving him a like and subscribing his channel
@theRadBrad the soul eye thing you have is part of a quest which you need to use I'n the building with the blue candles and the symbols on the map there's a barrel where you can open inventory;) it's like a shadow you have to make with the symbols with your uv light and torch it's quite hard.
This is off topic, but on your deadspace 2 hardcore fails you said " if this gets 2,000 favorites you will upload the full hour", but you never did. Just curious if that is gonna happen. Other than that you pretty just did a excellent job on making me buy this game.
Well the reason why people give suggestions is because there's gotta be a reason why that room has a mirror in it. Silent Hill is famous for having a lot of fucked up things happen because of mirrors. I'm even a bit prepared for something completely fucked up happen to you because of the mirror.

The place with the map and blue candles is the side quest for the shadow game. Use the uv light to find the marks around SH. There are also items to find around SH too that match the shadows. The soul eye goes in the same room as the map.
SPOILERS: Murphy was Napier's (the fat guy in the beginning) neighbor years ago. Napier kidnapped, molested, and then drowned Murphy's son Charlie. After which, Murphy purposefully got himself into prison so he could kill Napier.
If there's no reason to have the pistol then there's no reason to save it for a rainy day and not use it. If anything try it on the "Grandaddy Longleg" guys [apologies I don't remember their actual name]. It would get them off any ceiling real quick.
k, completely sure the tracks seen with the UV light are bloody tracks from wheel chair man, first seeing him at devils pit, then the chair itself in the car garage, then the library place and here. dunno why yet.
The EASY WAY TO KILL the BOOGEYMAN, take the AXE take about 7 hits/SWINGS at him, AS SOON AS HE KNEELS DOWN to re-energize RUN UP TO HIM AND PRESS A. YOU CAN KILL HIM IN LIKE 30 SECONDS AND SAVE YOUR AMMO.

No Brad, you see the bogey at the end. Theres three endings (i think) where he kills you, you kill him, and the last one he leaves you. Then the chick from the first part lets you go when the bus crashes. Also, spoiler alert.

I guess the screamers themselves symbolize the sirens that a fugitive always hears in his mind when trying to escape. So the demonic cop cars was Silent Hill's twisted way of imitating a real-world chase of Murphy.
I have an idea about your new game thing. Since you don't wanna play Silent Hill 2 immediately, play an xbox arcade game. Something like Castle Crashers so that you can play with your fans. Like if you agree.

i have the HD collection for silent hill 2 you can choose the new voices or the original but for SH3 you have to use the newer voices because they couldn't get a hold of the girl voice actor to ask permission to change it.

Brad! You keep passing that candle/sigil place in the alley between the top and bottom of the map. You have the candles to put in the gold candle holder looking thing scattered around town now.

Jump scares are for lame-o's , it's an easy and cheap resource, like saying "it was all a dreaaam!" i know this game isn't scary enough but at least is trying to not rely on jump scares...

Depends on the ending. But it is canon that Harry and Travis both made it out of the town cause Harry is seen in th real world in SH3 and Travis in Silent Hill Homecoming
It's Downpour's version of Pyramid Head, He's called the Bogeyman, Hince having to find the Bogeyman rhyme. and how when he appears Murphy starts saying it,

During your fight with bogeyman i kept think "the gun is your option, no?" but then you kept attacking with axe and i was like "the fuck you doing?!"

I think this game is plenty long enough when you factor in the side quests. 9-10 hours for the main story is about standard for games like this anymore.
The Jacket was a creepy movie...especially where he was drugged up and wrapped in the cadaver cabinet.......freaking out as the medicine took over.
