34046 Braunton Bath Christmas Market Express Bapton and Ashton Hill 11th Dec 2024

On what turned out to be a cold winters day it was once again 34046 Braunton at the head of another Saphos Trains "Bath Christmas Market Express".
The challenge once again was to film from a different location so as I have already filmed 70000 Britannia from the hill above Bapton the other week this time I choose to film from the road side of the line so allowing a clear view of Braunton heading towards Upton Lovell.
With a planned 20 minute service stop in Westbury this gave plenty of time to get to Ashton Hill above Corston on the outskirts of Bath, however 34046 only stopped at Westbury for 3 minutes resulting in a 13 minute early arrival in Bath Spa.
