I seen on Sunday on CBS (Christian broadcasting station) that Canada is going to sign it into law in the coming weeks. I wasn't aware that this many states are in it either. God bless all who read this message.

You are right; the church in America ( the West actually ) is not ready for persecution. That is why many will fall away from the faith.
“But he who received the seed on stony places, this is he who hears the word and immediately receives it with joy; yet he has no root in himself, but endures only for a while. For when tribulation or persecution arises because of the word, immediately he stumbles.”
I pray often that the church, myself included, will endure by Gods strength. 🙏

My Bible actually has a foot note addressing this concern, I use the NAB:
“ v.2:15-16 Paul is speaking Of historical opposition on the part of Palestinian Jews in particular and does so only some 20 years after Jesus is crucifixion. Even so, he quickly proceeds to depict the persecutors typologically, In apocalyptic terms. His remarks give no grounds for antisemitism to those willing to understand him, especially in views of Paul’s pride in his own ethnic and religious background (Rom 9:1-5; 10:1, 11:1-3; Phil 3:4-6). Sinful conduct (1 Thes 2:16) is it self an anticipation Of the ultimate wrath or judgment of God (Rom 1:18-2:5), Whether or not it is perceived as such.”
I would be curious to know if others’ translations also include a similar explanation in the footnotes, because the greater scope of the Word of God is not antisemitic when given context and proper interpretation. It takes isolation of this verse and scripture twisting to arrive there. (Not denying that people do this to persecute Christians either)

While the Jew was the vehicle used to put our savior to the cross, the Jew simply represented every one of us sinners that drove those nails into His hands. "We" tortured an innocent man who had lived over thirty years on this earth without sin so that God's plan of salvation could come to completion. Praise God and accept persecution as a miniscule sample of "we" put our savior through for our many sins. Thank you for your witness Justin.

But sodomy aka same sex marriage is forbidden in the scriptures! Leviticus 20:13 comes to mind! I believe that’s the one I’m thinking of?
