I believe Hu Tao's main advantage is that she doesn't depend on Bennett, and as a HP scaler, she has the best scaling in the game. Additionally, she's currently the top main DPS for Furina and Yelan duo.
She was my first 5-star about a year ago and I don't have any regrets. Sure, Arlecchino kind of powercrept her, but I like Hu Tao much more. She's just so much fun.

Since arlecchino’s rotation usually starts by using a charged attack to absorb to blood debt directive, the normal attack speed bonus would work on her. It is also a very resin efficient domain to farm due to it also containing the hyper bloom and burgeon enhancing set. Good luck with her! ☺️
I've been stalking this channel for a bit and i'm really happy that the visuals are more enjoyable!! One thing I noticed while looking at some was that I tended to enjoy videos like the Gaming guide because it felt like you had a really fun time making the video and playing him so i'm glad to see the videos back to that format with a balance of the more informational videos made as of late :]
Putting a DPS in s tier other than nevi still crazy especially when you consider that the meta this game is pointless considering the only real difference between the majority of the DPS is in the game is how fast they can clear the abyss which means nothing because you don't get anything for clearing it faster than normal clearing it in 50 seconds it's not going to give you any more rewards than clearing it in 60 regardless support characters are just so valuable for opening up so many team options which is why the majority of the best ones in the game are all in s tier and if we are going to go buy the meta of the game you really should talk about the actual team DPS numbers for the whole team not just a singular character since the DPS isn't the only person doing damage especially in a double hydro team or any team that has a sub DPS with good dmg
I actually prefer C0 so I can flex on the haters, C1 is just too easy (not me coping because I need to get Homa and hopefully Nahida book and I'm broke)
Back when hu tao first released, i did a ten pull for fun, i used to do a ten pull on every new banner when they came out, and lo and behold, she decided she wants to join my squad at 10 pity no guarantee, I've used her ever since
I plan on pulling Hu-Tao due to her being my favorite character and the reason I got into Genshin in the first place But due to Neuvillette’s release I ended up quitting because people kept shoving him down my throat and it just became exhausting So I quit for a while until making a new account where now I can pull my pyro queen, keep making great content juice have a nice day ❤️
Hu Tao feels like the Jing Yuan of Genshin, she’s not really meta anymore but she’s still good while also getting new buffs in what seems to be every other patch
Ehh. No. Jing Yuan is more like Eula. Backloaded damage that can misfire or not fire at all before the enemy is dead. Eula keeps getting buffs too like Furina, Mika, Raiden, Eula. Of course it's all pointless in the end. Nothing can make her good just like nothing can save Jing Yuan. His kit is fundamentally below average.
Hu tao is the first character I pulled for simply because I like her. She's also the only character I kind of regret pulling for because she's too single target focused and I just prefer arlecchino at this point.
Hu Tao is the very reason why I started Genshin. Just a simple picture with a cosplayer Hu Tao picked my interest to play this game and now im addicted. I waited almost a year for her and she will be home soon
I’ve been using Hu Tao with Staff of Homa since the day she released, and I got her C1 during her first rerun. She’s been a core part of my team, but lately, I’m getting a bit bored of using her. I was unlucky with Arlecchino pulls, and I’m not really interested in Mr. Water Beam or most of the Fontaine DPS characters. Still, Hu Tao has been amazing through it all.
I really hope mavuika is at least versatile in role like xilonen and Raiden, and not _yet another_ on field pyro dps, but given all they’ve shown of her in cutscenes, she can’t really be anything other than the primary presence and damage (aka on field pyro dps) 😔
Crazy how back in 1.3 the order of best to worst was Ganyu > Hu Tao > Xiao and some CCs would say they feel bad for those that skipped Ganyu or pulled for Xiao over Ganyu/Hu Tao And now it's reversed with Xiao having the higher dmg ceiling, albeit with having to meet a lot of conditions like trying to gather all 5 pieces of Exodia.
I feel Ganyu could come back if Mavuika fixes the Xiangling issue because with that C2 Xilonen that team might actually drag Ganyu back to the spotlight. She still has crazy high numbers enough to still being able to solo part of the abyss.
@@abdiabdi3225 Ganyu has many more issues than the others: needs full interruption resistance, needs unreal pyro application to melt both her burst and CAs, needs Bennett, also she has a bad signature weapon. Sadly her glowup should have been Dehya but we all know how that ended. I don't see Mavuika fixing every of those issues, maybe some.
hu taos ceiling is higher on average, xiao is less investment tho ( depends how u count c6 faruzan ) but hu tao in the same plunge team will out dps xiao , ( yelan instead of faruzan )

Hu Tao's rap is surprisingly uneven. The first line is so bad that it's clear it wasn't vetted with the music, but the second, third, and fourth lines actually work quite well. It's probably one of those cases where the original Chinese translation just couldn't work with English lyrics, and there wasn't enough time to rework the script.
well, i play this game because of Hu Tao, it had taken me about 6 months before I got her in the Lantern Rite festival. I got her c1r1 in that phase. After that, I rolled both Yelan and even furina c2. Unfortunately, i have to wait for Xianyun rerun to take her catalyst and constellation. Xianyun c2 certainly gives my waifu massive buff, and also Nilou weapon too.
I love Hu Tao as a character. Her design is peak and she reminds me of Hanako-kun from Toiletbound Hanako-kun, one of my favorite manga. I love when she shows up in events because I know she’s going to make me laugh. But I don’t own her and I’m not sure if I ever will. I only really started playing in second half of 3.3 so by the time she reran in 4.1 I had just pulled Lyney. I now currently already own Lyney C0R1 and a well-invested C6 Gaming with Redhorn. I have all the pieces to make Hu Tao plunge work (Furina and Xianyun and a MH set) besides the character herself and her signature, but I’d rather pull Arlecchino because she adds more to my account in terms of team diversity than a Gaming vape plunge team upgrade (not even sure it’s an upgrade tbh). With Arle I can do so many different kinds of teams besides vape plunge. I tried Hu Tao on my friend’s account and didn’t like her non plunge play style at C0. Jump cancels on controller are tough and so is stamina consumption for every charged attack.
Anyone who doesn't think Kinich is S-tier should try running him in a comp with Emilie, Xiangling and Bennett. Dude's charged shots do like 200k damage, not to mention his normal shots hitting for 20-30k in rapid succession.
I was shocked how good he is. I didnt think his mini shots would even do damage but sometimes i find myself killing the enemies before i can even land the final shot😂
@@longers1028Emilie is not the problem my guy she is pure sup dps she doesn’t buff his dmg by any way his team is missing dmg bonuses since no one in his team is buffing him other than benny, furina’s dmg as a sup dps is good in kinich teams since she can get some vape hits without applying much hydro
@@4..xmy thrilling tales and deepwood holding Baizhu says otherwise. Extra 48% attack for Kinich for 10s when I swap to him from Baizhu. Also have Benny and Thoma on team.
the Lyney simping is insane lmao, jokes aside im all for loving a char and for using a team most wouldn't rly even consider but putting him anywhere near top 5 is criminal, his numbers defo surprised me but pre xilo his closest comparison was diluc plunge ( referring to vape lyney ) i just dont see how, the numbers dont lie
@@Juice-chan i agree that its not a silly off-meta team, i think most people under-rate lyney. but from testing on multiple accounts at diff investment lvls to some good old calcs, he doesnt quite reach the navia/xiao/hu tao lvls, in practice or on paper. but my source here is mostly personal calcs (and other theory crafters for reference) but maybe theres just something im overlooking. top tier dps isnt rly a set definition, it means something else for every 1 else. Objectively in terms of numbers he just doesn't reach that lvl. I'll gladly change my mind if i see evidence for the opposite edit : i did try the team btw and i agree its defo rly fun, doesnt feel like a lyney team but its fun to play
I always fine myself gravitating towards Hu Tao (alongside Neuvi ofc) despite having Navia, AlHaitham, and Kinich as other carry options... I might go for her c1 coming up soon. (Also, man, I didn't realize only 5 of my lim 5☆s are on-fielders!)
I was a person who got yoimiya first and then Hu Tao came much later. By that time, my hu tao was pretty much the same character as my yoimiya because I only got her, no cons or weapons. She’s currently rocking lithic spear so I mainly play her with xingqui and yelan and while her damage is good enough to clear I never felt that power of like 100k charge attacks I was expecting when I see other people with homa and c1. I haven’t gotten Lyney or Arlecchino so my funeral director and fireworks connoisseur are good enough combo for the main dps slot.

Looking at the comments in your last few videos, I really think you need to explain to the people just how good Lyney is because I'm seeing so many silly "lyney isn't that good" takes, "Hu Tao is better than Lyney" takes, "Lyney is impossible to play without a sheilder" takes, and "Juice is always glazing and overrating Lyney" takes... the community just dont seem to understand how strong he really is, and you're like the only CC out there that actually gets it! Either way it's just not really true, Lyney's damage ceiling is definitely above Hu Tao's, he has one of the highest damage ceilings in the entire game Lyney can literally outperform Arlechinno and Neuvillette in single target and then with Kazuha he's not even that far behind in AoE.
i’m waiting for a rerun of his to get announced, i seriously have to make a full video on this; i’m genuinely convinced that the real reason people refuse to believe this is because people just don’t want lyney to be good. he has really low ownership & so few people want to try vape nuker lyney even though its his objectively best playstyle… shocking that some people still think he’s a CA bow DPS i can understand not liking him if you play on mobile/console bc he is hard to use. but mualani is harder to use, & people like her, sooooo… tao has NOTHING on lyney man, lyney is competing with arle, not with tao
@@Juice-chan I think you're right. People just never really seemed to like him for some reason (which itself breaks my heart a little). I think it means people just don't play him or watch other people playing him though, so their only information about him comes from the community and CCs, and I don't think many CCs seem play him either. Want to just say that I'm loving the videos, too! :)
Let me think of something that she does that the other pyro DPSs don't do defensive utility and her defensive utility in comparison to the other two isn't even close I feel like a new player would care more about that than just doing damage considering she can do both it's almost like being an HP scalar makes you stronger than average by default just because you can tank very well and is very valuable in any content that has enemies that do a lot of damage Oh and if we want to talk about resin cost if your farming for HuTaos best team your farming Hunter set which is literally one of the most efficient domains in the entire game so yeah any way you slice it comparing the pyro DPS to each other all of them have their pros and cons but none of them are so broken to where you can just own one of them and never need to own the others they are all very replaceable while nevi is not and he's easy to played in all of them which is why he is the best DPS in the game and why he's the only one who deserves to be an S tier cuz on top of doing everything that they can do when it comes to damage AOE coverage flexibility and defensive utility considering he's an HP scalar and he can self heal and it's not tied to his burst so tell me how are you going to put a character like that in the same tier as lynny and arl
I really like her. She's one of my favorite characters, but I'm more of a meta player. That's because I just cleared the abyss for the first time two weeks ago, and I need stronger characters to have more versatile teams. I'll pull for her C1 at the next rerun, when my account is strong enough to do all the content.
honestly im pulling hu tao because im so unsatisfied with lyney.. ive never seen the hype with him cause i feel his gameplay is clunky. Hu tao however has never felt clunky to me.. but shes skipped me on all 4 of her banners and when i pulled lyney to fill the pyro dps role i was still unsatisfied so i really hope i win
This video underestimating hu tao so much Her top team with furina yelan xianyun/xilonen is one of the very few teams to reach 80k DPS Also lyney and arlechino mostly use different units than hu tao so you can use both
as long as her design, personality, and play style, I do not care if she’s meta, she just needs to do more than 1k damage lol. I do abyss once, and then do open-world/artifact farming. I do have arlecchino but I find her not being able to heal very annoying, and hutao’s personality is a lot more fun in my opinion! Pray for me pls, I’m on a 50-50
Do you have (or intend to get): Furina/Xq c6 or Yelan and Xianyun? Yes. Furi/xq or yelan and Xilonen? Yes. Xqc6, Yelan, Zhongi and intend to get c1 and Homa? Yes. If you said no to any of the above, or if those units are already tied up in other teams you intend to use: no.
Hu Tao my First Expensive Character I pull.. I lost her for First Tignari and then I lost her Weapon 2 🙂👍... Buuuut she Carried me through my First 36 star abyss so I cant complain and still one of my Favourite top 5 character in Genshin 😂❤
8:55 You underestimate Raiden overload and Arlecchino Overload. Those 2 teams have nothing to envy to Clorinde's overload. Raiden is much more flexible than Clorinde (at both C2 they are both equal in damage). And Arlecchino (c2) crush both them in term of dps.
clorinde’s DPS is better than raiden’s if we just look at C0, & if we talk C2, then go for arle like you said you make a point with arle, but i disagree on raiden
@@Juice-chan For Clorinde and Raiden, it's a true debate. no matter where i go, people keep disagreeing about who does more damage (even at C0). When my Raiden was C2 (she is C3 now), i tested her a lot against my C2 Clorinde with the same team. It was impossible to determine who did more damage (especially with Chevreuse).
That's a bit of an exaggeration, but Arlecchino is a lot easier to use in most team comps. Hu Tao's main advantage in the current meta is that she can use certain teammates that don't benefit Arlecchino much, like Furina and Xianyun.

In their premium teams Hu Tao does over 300k more damage per rotation than Arlecchino and she doesn't have to play circle impact. It just seems that Arlecchino is better because her damage is extremely frontloaded so most things die before her damage really falls off. At lower investments arlecchino is a better call though. Way easier to build and play
If you ever pulled xianyun aka cloud retainer then its okay . Either way doesn't matter much since her dmg is in high tier . And even if you miss 1 star in abyss it is not that much So you can pull her with no regret unless you don't like arlechino that is.
I was indifferent to hutao until i got her and she just did her hillchurl line... all the time. Now that i got emily and xilonen i use her all the time with a deepwood benny. Lol
5:15 Trust, Citlali will be an amazing Ganyu support!! Shields so she doesn’t get stunned and her kit will definitely have a 40% Res shred for cryo/physical damage!!!!!

Honestly, I wanted hu tao when i was starting during the fontaine patch I really want a pyro dps so hu tao is the only option i see Plus the plunge hutao xianyun seems very interesting But when leaks and talks about arlecchino came that shes also pyro, i waited for her eventually Idk what could have happened if i went for hu tao instead but i dont think much will change

Honestly if you are asking gameplay wise as a new player Hu Tao is great but I found Arle to be a lot more comfy and stronger. I have Hu Tao on my alt acc and she carried me alot but when Arle dropped I had alot of pulls saved up and no Pyro dps so I pulled her on my main and omg she is amazing and so easy to play. I have hu Tao on cyno's weapon and better build in the xianyun team and arle on mono Pyro and she just shreds. Don't get me wrong I get 36 stars on both accounts but with arle it's just a little easier.
My account has always seem great for having hutao, homa, xinquiu c6 + yelan C1, kazuha, and now xilonen. But sadly mavuika is just around the corner. You are selling me on lyney though. Love your content.

Burgeon tao-subbing out xilonen for baizhu works quite well for aoe situations too. Used to be my strongest team before xilonen came alone. EM sands or dragon's bane makes hu tao burgeon quite painful-even worth getting stolen a couple of vapes from.
as a c0 toa hav'er/lov'er and had her since 1.3.. i just cleared abyss with her! but i 100% agree, i dont think there is any point vertically investing in her, i would rather pull arl'chino then her c1 and if i didnt have her probably would skip her :(
Been playing since Version 1.0 and she's the first char I invested. Saved my primos and when she was announced I know I need to got her C1R1 on her first banner. Until now I'm still playing. If you're a newer player, and want stronger, easier to play and if you don't like her don't pull for her. Also, just want to rant this out, why not release her skin?! She's on the same era as Ganyu and she got hers already :((((
As a F2P, I regret pulling for Hu Tao because without C1 she is uncomfortable to play, plus we have Arlecchino as the new pyro DPS who basically does the same at C0, so for me, it is not worth going for her unless you like her design or really go for her C1, But as I always say, just go for what you like.
Well i didn't know hu tao teams Im also hu tao main But team chevreus,kazuha,and xingqui, I deal above 200k damage almost every time Chevreus with nobless Kazuha with vire descent And xingqui with emblem of severe fate

I personally don't like her, her skill duration is so short, she needs either C1/Xianyun to feel good to play and she can be kinda hard to build sometimes
Still a HuTao (c1r1) main almost 4 years later. You forgot her biggest perk, her JP seiyuu.... I do have Neuv (c1r1) and Arlecchino (c2r1). I do enjoy playing Arlecchino from time to time but Neuv makes me want to quit the game since it feels more like playing a slot machine that always wins than a skill based video game. Pressing and holding 1 button and spinning is just boring.

It’s kinda crazy how hu tao is still able to compete with some of the best dpses in the game after nearly four years
I still use her regularly, they are giving her buffs to keep up. This abyss was top side arlechinno and bottom half hu tao for me.
Hu Tao is the very reason why I started Genshin. Just a simple picture with a cosplayer Hu Tao picked my interest to play this game and now im addicted. I waited almost a year for her and she will be home soon
I’ve been using Hu Tao with Staff of Homa since the day she released, and I got her C1 during her first rerun. She’s been a core part of my team, but lately, I’m getting a bit bored of using her. I was unlucky with Arlecchino pulls, and I’m not really interested in Mr. Water Beam or most of the Fontaine DPS characters. Still, Hu Tao has been amazing through it all.
Juice will convince me a C1 Arlecchino user to roll for UwU-tao

I really hope mavuika is at least versatile in role like xilonen and Raiden, and not _yet another_ on field pyro dps, but given all they’ve shown of her in cutscenes, she can’t really be anything other than the primary presence and damage (aka on field pyro dps) 😔

Crazy how back in 1.3 the order of best to worst was Ganyu > Hu Tao > Xiao and some CCs would say they feel bad for those that skipped Ganyu or pulled for Xiao over Ganyu/Hu Tao
And now it's reversed with Xiao having the higher dmg ceiling, albeit with having to meet a lot of conditions like trying to gather all 5 pieces of Exodia.
I feel Ganyu could come back if Mavuika fixes the Xiangling issue because with that C2 Xilonen that team might actually drag Ganyu back to the spotlight. She still has crazy high numbers enough to still being able to solo part of the abyss.
@@abdiabdi3225 Ganyu has many more issues than the others: needs full interruption resistance, needs unreal pyro application to melt both her burst and CAs, needs Bennett, also she has a bad signature weapon. Sadly her glowup should have been Dehya but we all know how that ended. I don't see Mavuika fixing every of those issues, maybe some.
hu taos ceiling is higher on average, xiao is less investment tho ( depends how u count c6 faruzan ) but hu tao in the same plunge team will out dps xiao , ( yelan instead of faruzan )

Hu Tao's rap is surprisingly uneven. The first line is so bad that it's clear it wasn't vetted with the music, but the second, third, and fourth lines actually work quite well. It's probably one of those cases where the original Chinese translation just couldn't work with English lyrics, and there wasn't enough time to rework the script.
Her VA can rap pretty well. Just limited by the medium in that event.
well, i play this game because of Hu Tao, it had taken me about 6 months before I got her in the Lantern Rite festival. I got her c1r1 in that phase. After that, I rolled both Yelan and even furina c2. Unfortunately, i have to wait for Xianyun rerun to take her catalyst and constellation. Xianyun c2 certainly gives my waifu massive buff, and also Nilou weapon too.
Juice is the Fontaine of all knowledge. Also Hu-Tao is the reason I started playing Genshin all those years ago...

She was my first 5* and my favorite character straight up until now.
I love Hu Tao as a character. Her design is peak and she reminds me of Hanako-kun from Toiletbound Hanako-kun, one of my favorite manga. I love when she shows up in events because I know she’s going to make me laugh. But I don’t own her and I’m not sure if I ever will. I only really started playing in second half of 3.3 so by the time she reran in 4.1 I had just pulled Lyney. I now currently already own Lyney C0R1 and a well-invested C6 Gaming with Redhorn. I have all the pieces to make Hu Tao plunge work (Furina and Xianyun and a MH set) besides the character herself and her signature, but I’d rather pull Arlecchino because she adds more to my account in terms of team diversity than a Gaming vape plunge team upgrade (not even sure it’s an upgrade tbh). With Arle I can do so many different kinds of teams besides vape plunge. I tried Hu Tao on my friend’s account and didn’t like her non plunge play style at C0. Jump cancels on controller are tough and so is stamina consumption for every charged attack.

Anyone who doesn't think Kinich is S-tier should try running him in a comp with Emilie, Xiangling and Bennett. Dude's charged shots do like 200k damage, not to mention his normal shots hitting for 20-30k in rapid succession.
Problem is, nobody pulled for Emilie. Kinich has been so fun to play, but i know he would be so much better if I had Emilie
I was shocked how good he is. I didnt think his mini shots would even do damage but sometimes i find myself killing the enemies before i can even land the final shot😂

his team is missing dmg bonuses since no one in his team is buffing him other than benny, furina’s dmg as a sup dps is good in kinich teams since she can get some vape hits without applying much hydro
@@4..xmy thrilling tales and deepwood holding Baizhu says otherwise. Extra 48% attack for Kinich for 10s when I swap to him from Baizhu. Also have Benny and Thoma on team.

the Lyney simping is insane lmao, jokes aside im all for loving a char and for using a team most wouldn't rly even consider but putting him anywhere near top 5 is criminal, his numbers defo surprised me but pre xilo his closest comparison was diluc plunge ( referring to vape lyney ) i just dont see how, the numbers dont lie
diluc plunge is so underrated but really give lyney vape a go. this isn’t a ‘silly off-meta team’ it is genuinely the best way to play lyney
@@Juice-chan i agree that its not a silly off-meta team, i think most people under-rate lyney. but from testing on multiple accounts at diff investment lvls to some good old calcs, he doesnt quite reach the navia/xiao/hu tao lvls, in practice or on paper. but my source here is mostly personal calcs (and other theory crafters for reference) but maybe theres just something im overlooking. top tier dps isnt rly a set definition, it means something else for every 1 else. Objectively in terms of numbers he just doesn't reach that lvl. I'll gladly change my mind if i see evidence for the opposite
edit : i did try the team btw and i agree its defo rly fun, doesnt feel like a lyney team but its fun to play
I always fine myself gravitating towards Hu Tao (alongside Neuvi ofc) despite having Navia, AlHaitham, and Kinich as other carry options... I might go for her c1 coming up soon. (Also, man, I didn't realize only 5 of my lim 5☆s are on-fielders!)
I was a person who got yoimiya first and then Hu Tao came much later. By that time, my hu tao was pretty much the same character as my yoimiya because I only got her, no cons or weapons. She’s currently rocking lithic spear so I mainly play her with xingqui and yelan and while her damage is good enough to clear I never felt that power of like 100k charge attacks I was expecting when I see other people with homa and c1. I haven’t gotten Lyney or Arlecchino so my funeral director and fireworks connoisseur are good enough combo for the main dps slot.

Hu Tao works with Furina. Arlecchino doesn't. That's why the silly funeral director is still worth your primos.

Looking at the comments in your last few videos, I really think you need to explain to the people just how good Lyney is because I'm seeing so many silly "lyney isn't that good" takes, "Hu Tao is better than Lyney" takes, "Lyney is impossible to play without a sheilder" takes, and "Juice is always glazing and overrating Lyney" takes... the community just dont seem to understand how strong he really is, and you're like the only CC out there that actually gets it! XD
He has better raw numbers if we count solo but in teams Hu Tao has an advantage she might be worse than Arlecchino but not Lyney

Either way it's just not really true, Lyney's damage ceiling is definitely above Hu Tao's, he has one of the highest damage ceilings in the entire game Lyney can literally outperform Arlechinno and Neuvillette in single target and then with Kazuha he's not even that far behind in AoE.
i’m waiting for a rerun of his to get announced, i seriously have to make a full video on this; i’m genuinely convinced that the real reason people refuse to believe this is because people just don’t want lyney to be good. he has really low ownership & so few people want to try vape nuker lyney even though its his objectively best playstyle… shocking that some people still think he’s a CA bow DPS
i can understand not liking him if you play on mobile/console bc he is hard to use. but mualani is harder to use, & people like her, sooooo…

@@Juice-chan I think you're right. People just never really seemed to like him for some reason (which itself breaks my heart a little). I think it means people just don't play him or watch other people playing him though, so their only information about him comes from the community and CCs, and I don't think many CCs seem play him either.

Let me think of something that she does that the other pyro DPSs don't do defensive utility and her defensive utility in comparison to the other two isn't even close I feel like a new player would care more about that than just doing damage considering she can do both it's almost like being an HP scalar makes you stronger than average by default just because you can tank very well and is very valuable in any content that has enemies that do a lot of damage
Oh and if we want to talk about resin cost if your farming for HuTaos best team your farming Hunter set which is literally one of the most efficient domains in the entire game so yeah any way you slice it comparing the pyro DPS to each other all of them have their pros and cons but none of them are so broken to where you can just own one of them and never need to own the others they are all very replaceable while nevi is not and he's easy to played in all of them which is why he is the best DPS in the game and why he's the only one who deserves to be an S tier cuz on top of doing everything that they can do when it comes to damage AOE coverage flexibility and defensive utility considering he's an HP scalar and he can self heal and it's not tied to his burst so tell me how are you going to put a character like that in the same tier as lynny and arl

I really like her. She's one of my favorite characters, but I'm more of a meta player. That's because I just cleared the abyss for the first time two weeks ago, and I need stronger characters to have more versatile teams. I'll pull for her C1 at the next rerun, when my account is strong enough to do all the content.
I have both Lyney and Arlecchino ...i haven't had need to build them cus my Hu Tao is just that good.
honestly im pulling hu tao because im so unsatisfied with lyney.. ive never seen the hype with him cause i feel his gameplay is clunky. Hu tao however has never felt clunky to me.. but shes skipped me on all 4 of her banners and when i pulled lyney to fill the pyro dps role i was still unsatisfied so i really hope i win

Her top team with furina yelan xianyun/xilonen is one of the very few teams to reach 80k DPS
Also lyney and arlechino mostly use different units than hu tao so you can use both

I do abyss once, and then do open-world/artifact farming. I do have arlecchino but I find her not being able to heal very annoying, and hutao’s personality is a lot more fun in my opinion! Pray for me pls, I’m on a 50-50
There is also Chaska who, while not tested yet, really might become a massive flying nuke.

Hu Tao was one of my first DPS after Amber and Diluc, I'd say, yeah she is still worth but pull for who you want

Xqc6, Yelan, Zhongi and intend to get c1 and Homa? Yes.

Hu Tao my First Expensive Character I pull.. I lost her for First Tignari and then I lost her Weapon 2 🙂👍... Buuuut she Carried me through my First 36 star abyss so I cant complain and still one of my Favourite top 5 character in Genshin 😂❤

8:55 You underestimate Raiden overload and Arlecchino Overload. Those 2 teams have nothing to envy to Clorinde's overload. Raiden is much more flexible than Clorinde (at both C2 they are both equal in damage). And Arlecchino (c2) crush both them in term of dps.
clorinde’s DPS is better than raiden’s if we just look at C0, & if we talk C2, then go for arle like you said

@@Juice-chan For Clorinde and Raiden, it's a true debate. no matter where i go, people keep disagreeing about who does more damage (even at C0). When my Raiden was C2 (she is C3 now), i tested her a lot against my C2 Clorinde with the same team. It was impossible to determine who did more damage (especially with Chevreuse).
Not really now that theres arlecchino. Arclecchino does 10x hu taos damage and is way better to use not having to rely on charge attacks
That's a bit of an exaggeration, but Arlecchino is a lot easier to use in most team comps. Hu Tao's main advantage in the current meta is that she can use certain teammates that don't benefit Arlecchino much, like Furina and Xianyun.

In their premium teams Hu Tao does over 300k more damage per rotation than Arlecchino and she doesn't have to play circle impact. It just seems that Arlecchino is better because her damage is extremely frontloaded so most things die before her damage really falls off. At lower investments arlecchino is a better call though. Way easier to build and play

If you ever pulled xianyun aka cloud retainer then its okay .
Either way doesn't matter much since her dmg is in high tier .
And even if you miss 1 star in abyss it is not that much
So you can pull her with no regret unless you don't like arlechino that is.
i love hutao , she carried me for the longest time but then i got neuvi and navia i dont use her anymore but i never forget the times.
With Her, Jean, Yelan and Furina The Abyss is a quick breeze.

I was indifferent to hutao until i got her and she just did her hillchurl line... all the time. Now that i got emily and xilonen i use her all the time with a deepwood benny. Lol
5:15 Trust, Citlali will be an amazing Ganyu support!! Shields so she doesn’t get stunned and her kit will definitely have a 40% Res shred for cryo/physical damage!!!!!

I wonder how that normal text spam is going to work against any enemy that does a large amount of dmg you know since arl doesn't have the luxury of being an HP scalar and being tanky oh and also her being the best C6 DPS in the game is an irrelevant point considering literally every C6 character including best girl tao can literally one shot the majority of the content in the game so that point is irrelevant to anybody who's not a speedrunners and a whale

Honestly if you are asking gameplay wise as a new player Hu Tao is great but I found Arle to be a lot more comfy and stronger. I have Hu Tao on my alt acc and she carried me alot but when Arle dropped I had alot of pulls saved up and no Pyro dps so I pulled her on my main and omg she is amazing and so easy to play. I have hu Tao on cyno's weapon and better build in the xianyun team and arle on mono Pyro and she just shreds. Don't get me wrong I get 36 stars on both accounts but with arle it's just a little easier.
aren't you unable to trigger the cinder city buff with xilonen and hutao unless you use hutao's burst first too?

Just buff hydro. Her best teams use two hydro sub dps which is like having another hydro main dps on your team

My account has always seem great for having hutao, homa, xinquiu c6 + yelan C1, kazuha, and now xilonen. But sadly mavuika is just around the corner.

Burgeon tao-subbing out xilonen for baizhu works quite well for aoe situations too. Used to be my strongest team before xilonen came alone. EM sands or dragon's bane makes hu tao burgeon quite painful-even worth getting stolen a couple of vapes from.

Been playing since Version 1.0 and she's the first char I invested. Saved my primos and when she was announced I know I need to got her C1R1 on her first banner. Until now I'm still playing. If you're a newer player, and want stronger, easier to play and if you don't like her don't pull for her.
Also, just want to rant this out, why not release her skin?! She's on the same era as Ganyu and she got hers already :((((

As a F2P, I regret pulling for Hu Tao because without C1 she is uncomfortable to play, plus we have Arlecchino as the new pyro DPS who basically does the same at C0, so for me, it is not worth going for her unless you like her design or really go for her C1, But as I always say, just go for what you like.
I love Hu Tao but after playing Navia and Arlecchino she feels a little weak

I do have Neuv (c1r1) and Arlecchino (c2r1). I do enjoy playing Arlecchino from time to time but Neuv makes me want to quit the game since it feels more like playing a slot machine that always wins than a skill based video game. Pressing and holding 1 button and spinning is just boring.
I have so many primos saved up and idk if I should get Nahida or hu Tao now 😭😭
