    Can we just appreciate at how quickly he analyses the frame at the very start talking about what’s on etc. He’s thinking maybe 5/6 shots ahead all the time. Genius!

    Truly fantastic clearance nobody else in the game could of managed that other than Ronnie O'Sullivan done it so many times through his career won't be the same when he retires TRUE GENIUS ON THE TABLE 😀👍👍

      He wasn't 60 points behind so how can you class it a clearance.

      @@mariogmajner6549 still it's a clearance.

      I’d a 147 not a proper clearance than because there not technically “behind” you moron, a clearance is when you clear the table from your current position doesn’t matter if your behind or in front

    difference, major difference in this break and higgins is the pressure. There was no real pressure at 3 - 3. For Higgins, in semi final of Worlds, facing an exit to Jimmy White with one single error, not having won the title in 10 years, facing the best player ever not to have won the world's, you can't compare the situation. Technically Ronnie did better, Alex over ran things and had to recover, but it was the knife edge tension that for me makes his 56 I think, the best break ever and one or two spectacular shots, that even Ronnie has tried and not managed when replicating the break.
    Better player - Ronnie 100%, but better nerve shattering break, with 6 vodkas downed already.... Alex.

    • @ronniechang1884
      @ronniechang1884 4 года назад +2

      @@hagenre8909 Trust me it does count on physical performance very much. As players become older there will be problems such as lack of concentration and energy, even their eyesight will be weaker. Without a good state it will be hard for players to win, which means it's time to leave the table.

    Great clearance, but to call it the best break of all time is taking it a bit too far in my opinion. Most of the brilliance happens after snookers are required, so it's not exactly a high pressure situation. I think the break he made in the opening frame of the 2014 final against Selby was more impressive. :)

    • @johnp515
      @johnp515 4 года назад +1

      If pressure is part of the equation then neither this break nor the one against Selby would be in the running for best ever. Compared to the Higgins frame where if he missed any ball he lost the semi final of the WC, the first frame in a best of 35 match is not a pressure situation, comparatively speaking. So no doubt, the Higgins frame remains the most iconic under pressure break of them all. Technically though, this one is the best imo. People think the best is the one with the most flash shots, ala Alex Higgins but he had to pull off some difficult shots because he would lose control of the cue ball on the previous shot. O'Sullivan's cue ball control is obviously immaculate and even in an exhibition ive never seen better.
