There are no verified reviews on the sephora website. That explains the high rating. All were incentivized or recieved it for free. To me personally, it looks like a poor product and for the price, it's robbery! There are far nicer face palettes out there that would work on most skin tones. THanks for the review though and you look very pretty no matter what make up you wear.
I feel like this kind of makeup only favors those people who have very white skin and in us who are WOC you really would not see much. I find the shades kinda boring too. Not sure why it had such high ratings in sephora. Thank you for your review! ❤❤
I love the bamboo packaging; however I’m about 2 or so shades darker than you and there’s no way the blush or most of these shades in the pallet would show up on me. Great review Candace!!
Hi there! Thank you so much for reviewing this palette! I was interested in purchasing this, but now that it seems it won’t work for medium to deep skin tones, I don’t want to support this launch.
I don't believe for 1 second that the 2 deeper models in the promo pic used this palette for anything except a shimmer eyeshadow. I'm light-medium and feel like this would barely even work on me. It's 2023, how are companies still making trash like this wihth zero shade range and acting like its ok? Also, possibly unpopular opinion: Caliray's design/logo/packaging looks trendy for 2019ish and already looks outdated. The use of bamboo is cool, but... All the other elements of the design look like artifacts from 5 years ago, not something you'd see on a brand new release.
Easy pass for me, its too light for my skin tone, its so meh, feels chalky and ashy, colours are not so interesting and i dont like the packaging..even on sale i wouldnt buy it😂😂
@askcandace Yes, I think so. It’s been my go to everyday palette since 2019. I have the one I’m using and a backup. Great for face and eyes. Overall it provides a nice polished put together everyday look.
