@@AbbeyYung Bronzer/contour is also really on trend do I'd love to see a video with your thoughts! Foundation/base product comparisons would be really helpful too! (Hi Elsie! 🐶 ❤)
can you pls do review of the new elseve bond repair line? curious if it would be a dupe to the redken acidic bonding line🙈😍 love the shampoo and conditioner of them.
Great video!!! I have the Dior, and unlike most viral makeup products, I really think it IS worth the hype. It gives you a very natural, glow from within look, with a slight sheen. I agree that it's not as cool pink on the skin as it looks in the pan. It's allegedly self-adjusting via pH, and I can believe that. It's gorgeous. I'd love to see a part 2 of this video, focusing more on creams/balms, like the Merit Flush Balm in "Stockholm" and the LYS Higher Standard Matte Cream Blush in "Humble." They are also in high demand!
Juvia’s Place has a blush duo in the pink that is absolutely fantastic! Love your content and comparing categories of makeup is so helpful. The recent video of lip oil comparisons was fantastic as well. Thank you!
Your skin in this video is stunning and I think we’d all love to see this exact base routine! Great video, very well done in explanation and I am about to go watch more videos from your channel (first time here). I have the Dior and Patrick Ta (different shade) blushes in my own collection and love them both- I tend to use the Dior one in the winter just because it’s a bit more cool toned and I’m gearing up for the Patrick Ta one now that it’s warming up
I would like to see you do a video like this with coral/peachy blushes but it would be great if you also included drug store. This was a unique video and very well done.
I have the Dior blush. I think it is fantastic on my cool leaning neutral light medium skin tone and probably looks good on almost everyone. I was alarmed by the color at first, but took the leap and am glad I did. It is VERY long lasting and lasts, sometimes, longer than my contour and bronzer. I love it.
I got the Dior Back Stage Rosy Glow (pink) blush a few days ago during the Sephora Sale (the only time I would pay this much $$$ for blush) I have to say, the color was gorgeous and the buildable application and staying power gives you that cliche "lit from within" look on my warm skin tone. HOWEVER. I was Super Disappointed with how CHEAP & Generic the compact packaging was. For $40-bucks I expect the compact to be something with a bit more weight and quality to it, and a real mirror. The mirror in the compact is a joke, it's not even glass. I'm not sure whey they bothered to be honest. This is cheapest feeling low quality compact I've ever seen by a designer brand. Looks like something you find at the Dollar Store.
I totally agree with u on the packaging. I was surprised too by how cheap it is. However keep in mind that although its still expensive, the backstage line from Dior beauty is supposed to be the “more affordable one” in their standards and targeted at younger women. Their makeup products that aren’t under the backstage line feel and look very lux
essence also has a blush in the limited edition snow much love that’s this exact cool-toned pink, if anyone’s able to find it and wants a drugstore option ✨
Abbey, you are so dedicated, you're hands down the best beauty influencer out there!!! Can you tell us what would be your top 3? Or kinda rank them on Instagram?
I think it’s the undertone of your skin. I absolutely love the candy clouds blush, I have olive skin tone that gets pretty dark in the summer. I usually put it over top of liquid blush before powder.. it looks best like that rather than to powdery
Perfect video idea! I have 3 of these: Persona, Tarte, & Too Faced. Cloud Crush also has a watermelon shade Thad is super cute even though I am super pale as well. I wear the Tarte shade all the time!
Once i saw the sheerness of the dior against the others, I just knew which one i needed. Ive been using glossier puff to get the effect (the OG not the peachier reformulation). I like how you put blush on your eyes too here for a cohesive look it looks great
You’re a goddess for this yaaaass!! Pink and red blushes are my favorites, and each time a brand launches a new one, I’m tempted… but I don’t need any more blush lol so I appreciate you narrowing it down for me!
Random and appreciated, thanks for the rundown Abbey! As a light to medium pasty I'm sure I won't be disappointed I ordered the buildable glowy Dior one for my Sephora haul!!
This is exactly what I had been hoping to find. It's not so easy to find the perfect pink blush. The Dior has an uncanny ability to look good on anyone, but a light touch is needed.
All these blushes look so fun! Unfortunately as a deathly pale person these shades tend to make me look like a little kid who got into her mom’s makeup…I’ll enjoy from afar 😂
@@drownzi I'm super pale too and this bright pink shade (I use the Dior) looks beautiful on me! Obviously, I don't apply a ton, but that's true with most makeup as an uber fair-skinned gal 🤣 I used to watch a lot of Hannah Martin videos and she consistently said that a bright, blue-based pink blush gives a beautiful, healthy flush to most skin tones and she would use it on most of her brides.
I have the Persona Bubble and I don’t like how it looks on me. I just figured this trend wasn’t for me. But now I see it’s a very cool/purple version of this and on my warm toned skin there are better choices. I think I’m going to try the Dior next time I can get it somewhere on sale! Great video!!!
That was really helpful! I only have three pinks, the one in the Too faced Natural Face palette, Game Beauty blush in Panther and one of the elf putty cream blushes. I really want to try the Too faced one but with my light medium skin Id probably go for the deeper pink shade. The new Armani blush in the cool pink is another I was considering as those look lovely.
I have the Too Faced and Haus labs blushes you showed and I love using them together! I use the TF one closer to the apples of my cheeks and the HL one further back on my cheekbones and towards my temples and it just looks sooo pretty! I wear self tanner year round so I do find the TF one to be a tad light but I can still get it to work 💕
Haus labs blushes are my new favorite formula! Picked up 2 during the Sephora sale and I’m obsessed!!! So smooth and long lasting! Love that they’re talc-free too!!😊
I loved your video!! I just picked up the Dior blush and I’m so excited to try. I have to agree with the Patrick ta, I’m also super pale and they are just too pigmented. I have the same issue with rare beauty liquid blush. ❤
I can’t believe it- I went last night to Sephora to get this kind of pink blush and I could not decide which one- this video came right on time! 😊 It seems that the Dior would be the best fit for me!
Thank you sooo much! This video was so helpful! I used to wear the Urban Decay Blush in Obsessed and now it’s discontinued. So glad this cool-toned pink shade is more popular now so I can start wearing it again! I think it can be so flattering on so many different skin tones. 🥰
Thank you for doing this video! I’ve been wondering how all these compared especially since the Sephora sale is happening. The swatches really helped since I already had the Dior and the Persona cream blush in bubble.
i believe the tarte blush has the same ph adjusting property as the dior one! i got the latter, but when i run out, i'll def get the tarte one since the tarte amazonian clay formula is just amazing
I have a natural blush on my cheeks, but it's not in the place modern beauty standards put blush. So I needed to find a blush color that blends well with my natural color. I'm very fair, and cool toned ... before this pink craze, most blushes were far too warm to work. Most of these pinks won't, either. I finally found one that does - Hourglass Mood Exposure. It looks plum in the pan, like nothing on my finger, but it's a perfect match for my flush. I only need a tiny bit, so the mini size lasts forever. This is definitely a YMMV thing, but if anyone who is very pale and cool toned needs a subtle blush, check it out.
I love blush videos because I’m a blush fanatic. My current favorites are haus pomelo peach and hibiscus haze. I would’ve liked to hear your favorite! Or if you could only pick one. Or which is most versatile.

This was so helpful! I'm going to go with the dior blush because it's buildable and not too pigmented for fair skin right out of the pan. I was hesitating on it because I thought it was overhyped and considering Haus labs dragon fruit instead, but after seeing this it would be such a pain to worry about over applying the Haus labs one every time. I know myself and I would end up avoiding using it to not deal with the hassle. Thanks so much for this comparison!
Thanks for this video! I have been shopping for bright pink and/or violet blush. I was leaning towards the Persona but it was sold out at Ulta. Instead, I bought a Juvia's Place pink blush duo. I like it. I was also going to try ColourPop, Clinique, and Tarte (one of my fav brands). The Dior is beautiful, but I just do not want to shell out that kind of cash.
