My husband and I were very clear that we did not want a Bollywood award function like wedding. We kept it simple. One day wedding with all rituals done in smartha Brahmin style with the mantras and their meaning explained to us calmly. We did have fun participating in it and playing the multiple games that are symbolically part of the rituals. But if course we have family members unhappy that we didn’t dance and click enough pictures. But I don’t care.
The RSS is encouraging people to have three children, but the current societal conditions are far from supportive. In our fathers' time, families naturally had more than three children, as both society and the judicial system provided the necessary support. Muslims, however, are still able to have larger families due to the strong support system within the Muslim community. In the name of supporting women, lawmakers and the judicial system are unintentionally undermining men. Men are aware of the consequences they face if they approach a police station or court. On top of this, society often sympathizes exclusively with women. As a result, the entire family of the man suffers, often leading to financial ruin and bankruptcy. If this trend continues, Hindus may either convert to Islam, avoid marriage altogether, or stop having children.

I don't want to diminish the intensity of Sandeep ji's very incisive and surgical deconstruction of state of Hindu society with Atul's tragic end as contextual backdrop. But this is the Kaliyuga we have been warned about in our sacred texts and its very overt manifestations. It is the period in our cyclical low point where all kinds of debasement of a lofty samskriti will happen, which will trigger the next wave of Satya yuga. I am always reminded of how ugly caterpillar transforms into a beautiful butterfly. It only happens because there is a dormant genetic code that expresses itself in that ugly caterpillar when imaginal cells grow in number and form clusters. Transformation begins when the clusters reach critical point. Bharat has that dormant code of dharma which will revive Rta and make dharmics aware of their Rna towards this sacred civilization. This revival will gather momentum as more dharmics courageously step into the mainstream and begin forming formidable clusters of dharma. That's when that very dharmic code that has been dormant since the time of Satya Yuga will become active again. Dharma is always operating in the background. Without that this srishti has no life. This is my optimistic view.
