Loved this interview. Hayden talking about his shoulder roll during the Vader scene and Dave saying after he saw the photo online of a young Rosario and young Hayden hugging from when they were kids, he knew Rosario was made for this role. 😊

Glad to hear what Rosario said about her droid friends. Her and Artoo go WAAAAAY back, and it's wonderful how informed she is and how much she's remembered about Clone Wars and Rebels. Not one of those actors who briefly skims through the backstory/original version of a thing and forgets most of it(cough EWAN! 😊, nothing terrible about that though, to each their own) , but one who gets immersed in it.
I wouldn't quite say Ahsoka has forsaken The Jedi Order, but simply realized it wasn't a good fit for her.
Why doesn't Disney and Filoni realize that DARTH VADER has ALWAYS been and ALWAYS will be the most iconic part of Star Wars.
He is a legend! He is still the most popular part of Star Wars on RUclips by all its RUclipsrs and all the fan films.
Hayden is at the right age and maturity to make a perfectly serious series about Darth's 20 years and ALL of the atrocities and emotional turmoil that he faced. That would be an elated and fantastic series as long as Disney didn't muck it up with any of the woke nonsense and just played the character for the fans.
I ❤ Hayden Christensen and no one will ever replace him as Anakin or Darth. He's mastered the role and Filoni should use the opportunity while he's still alive and youthful to portray the character.
Hayden's really underutilized.
let us all be honest,not all of us like all of Disneystar wars,but so see so much love and dedication of the actors for their caracters, deserves all our respect (same as aal the hard working and inspiring people behind the scenes) despites what the company to see.

Every Acolyte hater should watch this and listen to Dave talk about the inclusionary nature of Star Wars. While I’m still on the fence about the show, I’m willing to reserve judgement until it all plays out. The rabid hate and vitriol coming from my fellow Star Wars fans is shameful and dismaying. George wrote about the human condition and I haven’t seen anything in The Acolyte that doesn’t fit into that premise. C’mon, guys, lighten up.
But if you look at the marketing and panels with Favreau/Filoni cast & crew they never lecture anyone about diversity and gender. They never gush about dealing with fame. Both Tran and Ingram made the mistake of admitting they didn't care about SW before they were cast, and then talking about how they felt in the limelight, and discussing diversity (even though there have been many POC who worked on SW and are popular with fans). They don't go on about the patriarchy. They don't attack the fandom through twitter or the MSM if there's criticism, like there was with BoBF, Mando S3 or Ahsoka.
Andor had actors whining about Trump, Obi-Wan had Ingram and MacGregor complaining about racism, which Ingram started before the show even aired. LF fired Carano in a spiteful way. Hidalgo has complained about "shit" fans. LF has complained about "hate" towards Arielle. It's like LF intentionally bait the audience. KK gaslights the fans by saying Solo flopped because fans can't accept Ford being recast - despite Obi-Wan and Anakin being recast and becoming fan favorites. And KK terminated the Acolyte by whining about how male fans intimidate female creators.
No hate for Bryce Dallas Howard or Rick Famuyiwa. No hate for Weathers or Dawson. Some complained that Dawson's choreography is too slow, and that Eckstein should have been offered it. And some complained the character was written too stoic, but the biggest complaints have been about stabbing characters and having them live, or changing Rebels characters too much in live action. It's not the fans are intolerant. It's that fans are sick of being labelled and lectured, and they can see it a mile away.

Headland and her cast repeatedly referenced "the patriarchy" in Star Wars. If you pay attention, very little of the backlash is on the actors, it's on Headland and LF, the writing, story, costuming and how cheap it looks.
Don't you dare claim this is about what Stenberg said about a totally different project. It's simply used to demonstrate how unapologetic Stenberg is.

This hostility in the fandom comes from years of accusations by access media in response to criticism over MID projects that no one asked for and bait and switch marketing, because they have NO ideas and NO vision forwards with this brand. It's why they chuck shit at a wall all over the timeline, and hire people like Headland to make whatever they want. They learned nothing from TFA or TLJ or TROS. It's LF that shrank Finn on the Chinese poster, sidelined him the second movie, sidelined Tran in the 3rd movie, edited out the TROS lesbian kiss in Singapore between two background characters nobody cared about.
It's LF that left out Lando from two movies, and pretend like Jackson and Best in the prequels didn't exist. Fans never asked for a High Republic dollar store prequel prequel. It's just another attempt t undermine what Lucas made by taking something and twisting it.

Headland should never have been allowed near the brand, not because of her gender or orientation, or bad ideas, but her association with a repulsive and sadistic sexual predator. @SraMacaco While I understand and even mostly agree that we should all definitely NOT jump to conclusions and wait it out until the end, people still have a right to speak up and share their personal concerns on this galaxy far, far away. It's something they/they're spent/spending their hard earned money and precious, limited time into, after all. Besides, it's the heated debates and criticisms that make Star Wars fans so awesome, actually. We love this franchise so much, we care about it so much as if it's our own 2nd family, so of COURSE we're going to be VERY passionate about every little thing that comes out regarding it. But I also do get that there's a fine line to it all! Still some valid concerns, past all the vitriol, brought up nonetheless. Remember Jedi Master and High Council Member Ki-Adi Mundi's line in The Phantom Menace: "Impossible! The Sith have been extinct for a millennium." Palpatine, Plageuis, Tenebrous and Maul all stayed successfully hidden until TPM. It was a period of 1,000 years of peace and prosperity with not even a HINT of Sith around. Zero exceptions! You don't mess with George Lucas's own brainchildren, we are simply defending his brainchildren. He himself even re-stated that very line from Mundi during The Phantom Menace Making Of documentary that the Sith were indeed extinct until the events of The Phantom Menace. So....why obviously bring the Sith back to directly face the Jedi in an era where it's only 100 years before TPM? They could've focused on literally any other era and character and yet they wanted to mess with George's own era and timeline as well as his pre-established characters. We're not stirring the pot here, they are. Needlessly too.

@@HextimusDuex Dude, I didn't even like the Mandalorian past season 1. I've only liked Clone Wars season 7, Bad Batch, Andor and Rogue One. I can't stand anything else from Disney Star Wars. I can tolerate a lot of flaws believe it or not love the prequels after all. But Disney Star Wars has just too much wrong for me to enjoy it.

@@HextimusDuex I wish I could enjoy more of Disney Star Wars like some people can but I'm enjoying less and less of it as time goes on. I'm glad you enjoyed Ahsoka, I tried watching it but I just couldn't stand the actors and the bloody awful dialogue. That older Dark Jedi guy seemed cool but that just wasn't enough for me to watch it.

This series was garbage and the lighting was terrible. Take a look at the last shot of episode 1 of Ahsoka and the last shot of Rebels.
They are the same shot and the cinematography is drastically different.
DARK LIGHTING IS TERRIBLE.
The characters were cast wrong and the characters (like Sabine) were not true.
How could Rebels be so great, and the Ahsoka series can be so bad?
