Makes you a comrade now with Houstonians, living thru one of those storms Kev, great times with family is always good times. Shoutout to you and your sis Calikises. 💯
Can't beat good times with family, to get a recharge...On another note, it's a shame how Texas infrastructure is set up, in 2024, how have they not invested in underground power lines?...IN HURRCANE ALLEY! All this money we are paying is going to the wrong places and pockets.
Because it floods, and that means the earth is saturated! You know the same reason H-Town, and Texas doesn't have basements in homes! It's not called Bayou City, and New Orleans sister City for nothing!✌🏾
@@pirate55hitinc.26 I know all that, that has nothing to do with updating utilities, for tropical storms and winter storms. I from south Mississippi, and I currently live in FL, both places are just as flat and wet as Houston and NOLA, and in many places the utilities are underground in storm prone areas. A city like Houston should at least have power underground. The people there are suffering, and this was not even a major storm.
@@torreyt948 and Florida goes thru the same Power outage, and that wasn't everybody in H-Town! Because my power was off for only a few hours! Also Florida is still above sea level! Unlike H-Town & NOLA the utilities are up to date, and that's what Newly updated BS goes thru Newly undated problem! The only reason it's being perpetrated on the News as disfunction is because Texas isn't under Federal mandates, and it's doing it's on thing! Yet I bet you thought it was All of H-Town without power because of propaganda from the News! ✌🏾
@pirate55hitinc.26 not here to argue, dude. I'm saying that a small storm like that should not be an issue. You are taking offense and the point I'm making is that infrastructure is being neglected and mismanaged at the expense of the quality of life for the people. I'm happy to hear you did alright, that is not the case for everyone
Because of 2 main reasons..#1 cost to rewire all underground is too much #2 if there is an issue with power outages it's harder to locate the exact location and it is more difficult than finding exact poles and lines above ground!! If it was easy and easier it would have been done nationwide.. Newer neighborhoods can easily have utility lines placed underground but to rewire miles and miles of power lines is easier said than done!!
Man this is so damn funny because I visited Houston from southern Cali and left just a couple days before that damn hurricane hit and was grateful for the great SoCal weather when I got back
Glad fam fun was had & EJ 18th was celebrated was celebrated before the hurricane. Miss Kim held the fam down like Big Kev has said she’s always done. 💪🏽
That looks like Bowlero over in Stafford, and I guess y’all went ridin at Spring Creek or out at the Highlands on the San Jac river. Glad you had a great time with family and friends, that’s what it’s all about. You had the experience here fa sho! It was your channel that got me into this genre Kev Mac, and I’ve always been interested to know how many of y’all from LA have kinfolk here in Texas and Louisiana. I think I’d have more in common with the folks in South Central and Compton, than I would in any other part of LA, should I come there to visit, to tell you the truth..
Shiiiii the Hurricane's normal, and happens every year! We only went without power for a few hrs, and it was cracking again! Yet I'll rather the Hurricane any day over an Earthquake! 🏴☠️
Oh you were here for the storm. You got the full Texas experience.
😡😅
Good to see you keeping the Family Traditions going. Heavy Blessings to you and your family.
Welcome To Da Dirty South...The Gulf Coast to be exact!! 🌀
That trip was worth it regardless of the weather another memorable time in your life wit family!
Kev Mac is officially an honorary Houstonian.
I'm in Houston now but it's no power. But Houston is a beautiful city I swear to goodness.
No it's not a beautiful city 😂 I've lived here for 10 years and it's a shit hole and we have no power.
@@GoodGameOKC1I think it’s a beautiful city I been visited every now and then from Cali. The only thing that sucks is the weather
Glad you enjoyed yourself out here besides the storm....

A generator is mandatory in Tx. A decent one is cheaper than a iPhone just game for the future.
