Ooohh.. the music (drum beat actually) that starts at 5:20 - this is it!! This is where I was wondering when the tide starts to turn, whoohoo! The pacing of this was so excellent, you go from transitioning of the realization of Laura that there is alot going on in her emotions towards Luke that she was in denial about, to then being only 3 wks away from the wedding - which would put this scene at about June 18th... and the big epiphany Luke has to have about Frank Smith, that puts him into action of putting together a plan.... instead of going along blindly, believing that Frankie boy is going to be "legitimate.." It all starts to unfold beautifully from this point on especially!
@TheCmacneil Yeah... current day GH is NOTHING like this.. THIS was worth my precious time... worth my precious time to watch a few times.. ;-). GH circa 2010.. not so much!!

Sue McGee The only thing that's available is the briefest of flashbacks (at least you can see what the actor looks like who played David Hamilton) and he is falling through the air, and the letters he threw at Laura are floating up towards a ceiling fan or something.. It's in 1981 Ice Princess playlist, and it's somewhere in 164-168
I think the actress who plays Jennifer is so unrealistic. She reminds me of a kid in a high school play..always flubbing her lines..who puts no meaning..or the wrong meaning into every line she delivers. She was very lucky that the actors working with her..were fabulous..otherwise GH could have broken down with her on board.
Hi Sus, Sorry your not feeling well. I hope you'll feel much better tommorrow. As always great clips. Times have certainly changed. It was strange to listen to Frank Smith tell Jennifer the importance of being an obedient wife, and so many clips have the women making arrangements for thier men do drive them where they need to go. I really enjoy the L&L clips, but I'm glad that we're pretty much past that type of sexism.

I'm laughing hysterically at this, M2. Calvin's butter knife comment is classic, too. Watching clips this way is a little like watching them via Mystery Science Theater 3000, only this time, the material is FANTASTIC!
In the real world of syndicates, the idea of going over to a mob boss with the books and that temper would render you dead, and them able to destroy the evidence of their money laundering. Never, ever take the evidence with you. There is nothing to protect you. I am grateful it was not played that way. The scene with Luke coming unglued at Smith is delicious!!

Hard to believe Genie was only 18 here. It blows my mind how good of an actress she is. This woman should have a wall of Emmy's.
