Due to the game's release schedule, I really do think that they need to properly release equips like these for LFs and regular SP units more often. Like if they do an LF plat every month, they should do a regular SP plat every two weeks for the units that needs it. It would really help broaden the amount of different unit and team setups that can be properly competitive in the ever-changing landscape of this meta.
The unique equipment is really good, but I think it really needed to give him some form of damage reduction. Raw Stats is good and all, but raw stats ages far faster then flat out DR.
Yeah like honestly you know what would of made his equipment better INSTEAD of the third slot giving 50% damage from getting attack twice it would of been better if it did pretty much 100% damage when your ally's take 3 attacks or gave Buu like 60% reduction when ally's take it 3 or 4 times that would of been perfect
i like DR, it would make him at least an option for now, but personally i would love something more, like ki recovery, hp restoration and card cost reduction maybe, i find it hard to combo with him, even tho he gets an amazing looking eq, he still is old unit with old kit, like one ability of new units is as long as all his 4, to make it work you would need much, much more I'm afraid
Makes me think of zenkai fused Zamasu. Other than on cover change, he has no form of DR in his kit. So it’s just stats which isn’t enough. At least his damage still hold up imo. But at the same time, you can’t safely build him up due to his tanking capabilities
Tbf, they both fit perfectly on the same team and Buu does give pretty good support and healing to Majin Buu saga, so he'll more likely benefit Buu Bros instead of damaging them.
@@alexcs4883 A green unit being able to force lock a Blue SSJ3 goku into a rush or high damage dealing combo isn't a counter? Buu even self and team heals which you can use for after the AOE nuke. You can also use buus lock against vegeta, swap to a different Type / Red unit, then rush or ult.
Well tag they can go type advantage against green. And tbh I don't think this buu is gonna slow them down much. (Not even mentioning the menace of ssb gogeta who would destroy this guy in one attack)
From what I have seen from multiple videos,I don't really think Buu was complete fodder as I expected in the title. The issue with Buu,is that he doesn't have Sustained Damage Cut which hurts his defense quite a bit and he doesn't have a great setup. I have seen him tank well and do a good amount of damage for example on Raiyuden's vid but he was using Angel Vegeta who is a crazy support that aged. Buu needs a Regen support for him to actually be useful
I guess people expected the equips to fully bring them back into the limelight. I'm personally fine with how it's done. Just seems to have updated him to a more recent release which I'm fine with. Will the sweats be using him in top 100? No, but they wouldn't anyway lol
Something I think people forget is that all those units with a high "reduce enemy sustained damage cut effects" aren't getting any use of it against Fat Buu. No sustained damage cut means that you have no other choice but to get through his defenses the old fashioned way.

Green Buu, that's such interesting move to give him EQ. Buu Saga is in boost system, they rly wished it to go a direction it didn't went, i guess they wanted to see UL Vegito, Red Majeta, Angel Vegeta, Buu Duo, Ssj2 Goku for the protagonist part, depending what you have and Buu, Pui Pui and new UL, maybe Red Buuhan with Blue Kid Buu for more options, that's the antagonist based team. It's nice plan on paper but power creep was merciless lately and it's still better, easier and more enjoyable to play with Rose on Fusion or Universe Rep, after this celebration we will forget everything it gave us :D even Buu Duo will fall slightly, like Beast, without boost :/ i wonder if they give us Buu Saga battle royale, outside of it i don't see any use of the units they gave us in this celebration, during and after it ends
This video is like my everyday experience with this game. Game always feeding opponents free wins with rrs from doing nothing, infinite blue greens for rose and ugb so i can get paralyzed, stop timed and take a shit ton of damage every timer count, always the same totally creative teams even though I'm trying to use different shit early season. Very fun
I like the model they are going off of to try and revive older units like this that have already gotten zenkai awakenings but this buu just doesn’t have to tools to stand in this current meta.
He looks close tho. I think if they give equipment like this even more stats we might be cooking. This buu just needed a little more numbers, and let reduce damage received accessible with equipment like these. Enough of that will make any character viable in any meta. Just more numbers and reduce damage

Especially the old zenkais that use to be cracked out their mind, like this buu their all missing a few things. Things that wouldn't warrent making a zenkai 2 but can warrent shoving in equipment.
He has a team+dmg heal on main, heals a ton and has a strike seal and 3 times 5 count lock on entry which are tools needed to deal with this meta, the only things he lacks are card draw speed and dmg cut, the latter not being as drastic due to his insane defense stats since he tanks a lot better than units like ssj3 dragonfist who have 60% dmg cut and still get shredded
+230% damage inflicted and reduces enemy ki by 100 everytime this character gets hit when a character that is both "RED" and "Pikkon" is a battle member
Well here’s the issue, you can’t even build him offensively cuz he still won’t do any damage. The only way to build him is defensive, he has bad offense stats but his defense stats are of course amazing still, there should be only way to build him and if he sucks at that, than he’s not good at all

If fat buus unique gave 100 percent to both defenses in slot 1. Each time atk is over heals himself and allies by 5 percent, and slot 3 was like 60 or 70 percent damage cut with 20 percent base health. Hes supposed to be a defensive god but he has 0 purpose in any meta moving forward

Classic Goresh acting like getting his rush guessed is a reflection of the unit’s capabilities. Not saying that buu is now great but he’s a viable unit to run which is clearly the only intention of the Devs.
Buu was never gonna be good to begin with: 1) ultra gogeta: type advantage over buu and rose exists: type neutral against buu 2) No reduce damage but still gets blown out of the water anyways by the two ultras mentioned 3) Stats don't cut it these days 4) damage sustain cut exists which is why buu with reduced damage received wouldn't work 5) Defense doesn't exist unless your using LF 17 but still wouldn't help when you see two of the same ultras in every match I also would like the mention that ultra super vegito wasn't as good as people would think due to LF tag Andriods, he's good but LF tag Andriods was just better than him due to green card, nullifying endurance by existing and type advantage. I still think the devs actually wanted gogeta to be powerful in this meta anyways and when you all see this very comment when blue vegtio isn't as good as blue gogeta then well, my opinion is completely confirmed.
