Forky being a spork reminded me of the funny moment in Wall-e where he finds a spork and is trying to decide to put it with the forks or spoons and ends up putting it in the middle.
It’s _definitely_ not underrated. I don’t know where you heard that, but it was one of the most popular movies of the year. Also because of the scenery and animation.
Tomato Brian Coco was NOT underrated. It was critically and commercially acclaimed for its art style and animation, and is considered one of the most respected animated films of all time.
I guess it may be due to where I'm from, but in my country, Coco was truly underrated. So I just wanted to highlight that it's just my opinion and y'all have valid points as well.
Pixar POURS so much love into their projects. The physics research, water, rain, people animated, and clumping hair, is all so important to how their movies stand out from other animation studios. I loved all the toy stories, Incredibles, finding Nemo, and more... It's insane how much they love their job.
I always thought it would be cool if animation studios would go back and recreate the older movies. Imagine how good the orginal Toy Story would look. But of course it takes a lot of time to make a movie and they would never do it

Us: Misses 10 SECONDS of the movie, just to ask for more pop corns
Meanwhile animators : 👁️, 👁️

Two things
1. The scene with the fluffy toys attacking the grandma was so unexpected it made me laugh until I couldnt breath
2. The ending felt a tad rushed but was an ok ending in my opinion
My friend and i were dying, even the people sitting next to us gave us a weird look.
I don’t know about you, but I really don’t like toy story 4’s ending
Derpy Face To me, it was good and bad at the same time.

William Schou Nilsson he is a shiny surface
Forky being a spork reminded me of the funny moment in Wall-e where he finds a spork and is trying to decide to put it with the forks or spoons and ends up putting it in the middle.
Jonathan Lumbreras get out nerd if you don’t remember that wholesome part u shouldn’t have the right o watch movies

It’s as if all the other movies Pixar made were just practice to eventually make a better Toy Story
Memetic Proportions EXACTLYYY WHAT I WAS THINKING LMAO 🤣
XD
I just saw it in theaters today, and man, it did not disappoint. It was one of the best movies I ever saw.
People are so smart
Not really
Eh only 20-30% of us are smart
Just wanted to highlight Coco’s beautiful graphics, cause it’s too underrated and the whole movie was gorgeous.
I appreciate how it highlights Mexican culture and music, but it’s not underrated
btw i like your profile photo babe ♡
I guess it may be due to where I'm from, but in my country, Coco was truly underrated. So I just wanted to highlight that it's just my opinion and y'all have valid points as well.
Pixar POURS so much love into their projects. The physics research, water, rain, people animated, and clumping hair, is all so important to how their movies stand out from other animation studios.
I loved all the toy stories, Incredibles, finding Nemo, and more... It's insane how much they love their job.
they are like Ghibli with the good ol' American money-making strategy
No one:
Sporky: “I don’t belong here!!!”
He's named Forky, not Sporky.
@Julia Wendt Hi trash I am nobody
BASURA
It’s Forky you uncultured swine
This. Is. Not. HOW THIS MEME WORKS!!! AAAAGGGHHHHH
I always did wonder how far the animation has come and the difference between that cat and sid's dog says it all for me.
So basically...as far as visuals..
*Toy Story 1: Freshman*
*Toy Story 4: Senior*
I love these films though so don't get me wrong😂
Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within
Your wrong lol
@A youtuber 1mil I'm talking about how throughout each film, the visuals get better.
@@imanobody5898 I'm talking about the visuals of the movies, not the plot. 😂
I think it'd be the opposite... Cause seniors are usually tired to the core and beat up like the animation visuals from Toy story 1 😅😅
why am I crying watching this? I think it’s because I’m so proud of how much effort they went to to make my childhood 🥺
The detail in toy story 1 & 2 was insane for the time, the bag rollers in toy story 2 actually moved.
I always thought it would be cool if animation studios would go back and recreate the older movies. Imagine how good the orginal Toy Story would look. But of course it takes a lot of time to make a movie and they would never do it
Theory: They’re just really testing their new innovations of CGI with a good portion of their movies. Some of their movies exist just to fully master an innovation such as fur, water, etc.
@Nathan Wurtz I had that thought too
Not really
Actually, it's the short films that serve as R&D. The features are more born from story ideas from the start.
The only only movie they made that made me feel this way was Good Dinosaur
Next step: Create a holographic CGI city and put a man to live in there without knowing it's fake.
The Truman Show 2.
Sid’s dog always looked less-detailed and weirdly creepy tbh
Scared me as a kid..
Jay Pal lol exactly 😂
Same lol
Omg ikr
His fur looks like come straight from photoshops brush strokes
The soul must be the most real looking pixar movie i ever seen. Sometimes it looks like they took 4k pictures and did animations on the surface
It’s crazy that In another 20 years it’ll be even better than it is now
2039: We can render Toy Story 4 in 2 seconds
In 20 years we'll probably have Holograms that look real. Right now they look like Toy story in 1995
@@Samirxkhan Holograms already look real. I've been to Springfield and in a museum, they had a dude in some theater-type place and he was giving an entire speech on Abraham Lincoln.
He was vivid and lively, then only at the end for him to admit he was actually a deceased soldier and he slowly faded away since he is a hologram. Never saw it coming.
@@xxxod I'm talking about real time holograms. Not rendered holograms.
Rendered holograms have been around decades.
We've only just started making movies using real time rendering with programs like Unreal Engine and it looks pretty good. But real time holograms look really basic. Check out Hololens.
And I'm not talking about things you have to go to a museum for. Maybe in 10 years time we'll have prescription glasses that project Holograms. Almost like a miniature version of the Hololens.
@@xxxod Wow. That seems like a pretty cool experience
That cat is surreal and Bo Peep's new look is hella 🔥
But the best thing about the movie is the ending. As a 90's kid, I never thought I developed a deep connection in the Toy Story franchise. The parting scene was so emotional..
The ending kinda ruined the moment for me idk why but when i saw the scene i was like :/ wow definitely no foreshadowing led to that moment.
Old animations look like my sleep paralysis demons how come I didn’t realize this while watching them when I was younger
ur pic suits ur comment
Wtf did you just write?
Maybe this is where your demons come from
I just started learning how to animate for a professional career.... boy am I in for a whole lot more learning. My mind hurts just thinking about all that computer stuff.
Ew, a furry
Same
I kind of
I start college for animation this year
Tyler Godby did you want him to write a whole goddamn essay to describe it 🙄 people like you are annoying
good luck!!
furries are gay lol.

Man I’m just realizing now how much Pixar has been involved with my childhood
"If you wanna work at Pixar, you might need know physics"

Imagine Pixar remastering the first Toy Story movie for 2019. It would be awesome to watch.
Imagine them pulling a disney and making a live action film. That would be weird

I believe the animators animate without the fur, and it’s added on by someone else after the scene is done.
Well you can work as a voice actor.
add math too lol
Animations and simulations are never possible without knowing the physics behind it.
Thanos: I am inevitable

Let’s give some love to Brave and Inside Out that never got mentioned in this video
Aleksander Dmitrashchuk Brave furthered hair effects technology while Inside Out did the same for particle effects. ^-^
Merida’s hair in and of itself is a masterpiece
i still feel curious about merida's relationship between another disney princesses. they related to each other or it's just "she came from another studio"?
And frozen!
@@fredlow5723 Frozen isn't a Pixar movie, it's a Disney movie.
My uncle was the director of Renderman for around 15 years, it was such a privilege going to Pixar animation studios and explore how my childhood was practically made :)
I went to go see toy story 4, and just kept being in awe with the detail.
Sameeee
I got tired of CG family films, but this made me realize how difficult it truly is to animate, and I have much more respect for them, now.
I don't know why but this video kinda makes me emotional.

Literally nobody:
Pixar: For 'Finding Nemo's' sequel we'll put an octopus that we definitely don't know how to animate and it'll take 2 years to complete 1 scene

Wonder if these animation studios will do the stuff Disney and Pixar do which those studios are Dreamworks , illumination entertainment, blue sky studios and Sony pictures animation
Would've been nice if they came up with a better plot than rescuing a plastic spork.

@@Iovesosweet Pixar Liked To Expiriment With New Technique .
I think they did that with the bread in Ratouille
And I think the last one they did the experiment on realistic hair in Luca
Ok
It was an impressive jump in Toy story 2, it’s incredible how quickly they evolved the animation fluidity and texturing! I think though it was obvious that Monsters Inc might have been the more obvious and better jump for Pixar!
Really disappointed in how little The Good Dinosaur was talked about. The animation in that movie was stunning.
it was a financial flop compared to the other movies, but I agree, it was a great animation movie
Lol movie was ass
I think Pixar learned that uber realistic settings with cartoonish characters didn't work well in that movie. Onward and Soul look less photorealistic due to that discovery.
It had a terrible story line and was super boring but the animation was pretty good
Thats because it was bad.
*When you realise how bad the old toy story animation was/creepy but kinda decent all at the same time*
Ikr!I was so shocked when I was little and my mom told me it was made in the 1990s because it was so good, but looking at it now it seems a bit different probably because of all the progress they've made
Gatcha Skye Well, it’s not necessarily bad, it’s just outdated.
It’s funny to think it was ahead of its time when today it looks bad
