      Thanks Craig! Yes, Rogier gave me a double volume set of the wild orchids of Europe when he visited back in 2007. I hope my use of them wasn't too gimmicky...

    Hi,
    Watched your video on Orchid pollination.
    Tried on some flowers but after one week all flowers are drying & dying. Is it normal?
    How many days it takes for the flowers to die?

      Some pollinated flowers will begin to die almost immediately, some will grow thick in substance, some will take more time to fade. The most important thing to look for is a swelling of the ovary. If it swells, you have a pollinated flower, otherwise it will yellow and fall off. One thing, it is not unusual for a seed pod to form with few, if any, seeds inside, but you'll have to wait several months to check that.
