I was a 6 year old from down South India when I listened to this song in a Dolphinor Vinyl LP player with two BIG Stereo Speaker boxes way back in 1978 and after that I should have listened to this a million times. Way ahead of the time and kudos to that unforgotten obscure person who had purchased this Vinyl and allowed me into the world of Giorgio Moroder.
I only know this song because of GTA: liberty city stories

Music like this has always sounded more modern and futuristic than nearly everything that is made today.... What happened?
As beloved as he is, Moroder must still be one of the most underappreciated artists when you consider his impact on music. So many huge hits I never knew were him, like Berlin - Take My Breath Away, Flashdance - What A Feeling. And his solo work doesn't seem to get that much attention despite being so far ahead of its time.

My friend and I were out thrifting and we came across this album cover in the bin (no record). Never heard of the guy and we were mocking the cover as "corny" etc.
However, on the drive home Iooked up the album on RUclips and was friggin' BLOWN AWAY. This guy was WAY ahead of his time. I can't believe this was released in 1977 ?? !! AMAZING

I've heard mixes and extensions to this track and none of them ever even come close to the original, Giovanni Giorgio is a master of synth music and I hope future generations will love his music just like I grew to love it despite not even being around when this work of absolute art was released. As soon as I heard it I was hooked from the first few blessings of notes to hit my ears.

However theatres playing english movies in India (major metros) used to play a lot of Giorgio,Cerrone, Boney M,Baccara sisters, Village people, MJ,Police,Kraftwerk,Deepche Mode etc. The greatest music era and we have been lucky to listen to them in theatres

Kraftwerk (al igual que productores y grupos de Progressive Rock) se paso toda la decada 70's tratando de adaptar la electrónica al Krautrock copiando y replicando las principales lineas de la Música Electrónica ademas de copiar y replicar a Moroder y Jarre desde inicios del 70's, el album The Man Machine (1978) esta formado prácticamente bajo la electrónica EDM de Moroder (1977).

Conny Plank (Kraftwerk) no es Electrónica hasta que se influye de verdaderos productores y desarrolladores de la Electrónica como Moroder, Jarre, Lacksman, Tangerine Dreams, Ryuichi Sakamoto (YMO), Schulze, Vangelis, Faltermeyer...(solo por citar los más relevantes).
