I LOVE the purple! I have a bunch of plastic and metal organizational/market baskets I spray painted the same color last summer and #noregrets!! I pondered painting my wire shelf like that as well but wasn't sure how it would turn out...but I think you just inspired me! 💜💜💜
i was LITERALLY just looking for a studio makeover video to watch when this popped up in my sub box! am in the process of cleaning and reorganizing my workspace myself so this is great inspo :)
Spray painting is a bit daunting if you have never done it. You did a great job! I would put that shelving unit at an angle in the same corner, though. I think you'll be able to reach things better :) I really like what you said about appreciating things that are going on now and not focusing too much on the future, so you don't miss out on meaningful things in the meantime. You're getting some great bonding time in with your dad that you may not have had if you left things the way they were.

I love all the colors and lighting of your studio! I have a black shelf that I want to spray paint too now 😅 The lavender color turned out really nice. It's a really cozy and safe space 🥰
I'm the same I always put furniture right up against the wall, I don't know I feel like it's the most efficient use of space though? like you get the most floor space this way 😊❤
hahaha i'm glad someone else does the same thing as me!! try as I might I can't not arrange rooms this way LOL and i agree! It's nice to have a lot of floor room and the room feels more 'open' to me?
Ikea does not manufacture the size of desktop I have (and it's the perfect size for me but not one store makes it) so I salvage it with contact paper whenever the finishing gets ugly.
