I love how this song incorporates numerous songs from the game, like it's telling the story of your character and how they became the Champion and what they had to go through. Very well thought out, and I shall always remember this as my childhood.
I completed a nuzlocke of this game on January 1st, 2020. I lost half of my team to the Elite 4 and somehow still won against the champion with half my team. Seeing the credits and hearing this song was so bittersweet for me. RIP Oh Worm the Butterfree, Sushi the Vaporeon, and Bermuda the Hypno.

LeafGreen was my introduction to the games. It ended up being my cousin giving me his GameBoy and LeafGreen for my own use. He said to start new, and when I did the game was beautiful. Right away the music came on, I was hyped. I saw Venusaur, and I thought I'd have to have him as my starter. Then I realized I could choose my own, so I chose Charmander. I did not go online, so everything was from learning. I had knowledge of Pokémon but not every one of them. Eventually, I had beaten the Elite Four with a close six Pokémon team, and my Charizard was with me the entire time. It was truly great. At first I thought my game was over, but then I pressed continue from curiosity and when I realized there was more, I was so happy. I got to Sevii Islands, maxed my Charizard, got Articuno and Moltres, even a Shiny without any idea, but cherished it still. The music helped me keep those memories. I find it odd how I beat the Elite Four yet Zapdos never came back, and o couldn't get Mewtwo. >
Yeah, even though I don't like some of the newer games quite as much. I'll always be willing to come back to Fire Red and Leaf Green. Something about its simple but lovely music and graphics and the over whelming ooze of nostalgia I guess! My first team had a Farfetch'd that I brought with me all the way to the Elite Four and so I kinda fell in love with since it really stood out as this simple, rare Pokemon with its own unique item. Of course I didn't know it was really weak at the time but even then, I kinda like that since it doesn't get used to death in competitive.

I remember when I went on holiday to Spain last year, we went on a boat trip. On the return journey, i was sitting on the deck listening to to this song, and boy was it AWESOME!
Still remember beating leafgreen for the first time with it being the first game in which I became champion. Still have that memory of one shotting blue's Gyarados with Zapdos' thunder. Good times

I'm being made to basically quit. I collected for over 38 years, I NEVER would have thought it would end this way. I obtained over 600+ games over the course of a little over 25 years (mostly by myself) for my enjoyment. My family hasn't really been that supportive, which doesn't help. Over 30+ years, thousands of dollars, and hopes of just having a fair collection are all ending for me in just a matter of months. Never did get Earthbound, and now I never will. 😢😭 1996 - 2023
my team was Mewtwo Blastoise Articuno Zapdos Moltres And a Wobbuffet I remember being a dumb little kid and spamming destiny bond with wobbufet just to one shot e4 and the final attack was destiny bond on gary's venusaur i remember oak saying you need to care for your pokemon then remembered the wobbufet that i forced to suicide to win and was like "oak you should try your little speech again."

This was my very first game of pokemon. I remember all the good moments I have, my Electabuzz Thunderbolting ESTEBAN´s Pidgeot (yay, that was the name of my rival, and of my brother), exploring the Sevii Islands, awaking Snorlax, and my good record of catching all my Pokemon (yay, that includes you, Mewtwo), with Pokeball, training my SLELLSHOKR (name of my Blastoise)... Ahh, really good memories. I almost cried when first heared this theme. POKEMON 4 EVER!
All you guys talking about receiving this game when you were smol. You guys are lucky. My dad was stingy like fuck and the only reason that I had any experience with video games before I was 10 was because my uncle decided that because he was getting a Wii he would give us his Xbox. We fucking loved it, even if the games he had for it were nothing short of brutal for 3 kids whose ages were still in the single digits. I shit you not, even my dad had problems with them occasionally.

fire red was my first pkmn game, and also the first game i got to the credits (all by my own, too) i was 10 years old, i loved pkmn at the time, and the credits sure surprised me slkgjfg i beat the elite 4 with my charizard, and man, blue being the champion was something i didnt expect (same for giovanni being a gym leader) and battling him was so cool !! the team rocket part in the credits took me off guard too, i was so confused XD i thought the game had finished there so after that i didnt play it again, and also forgot to make a back up and now the file is gone :') i don't even remember my full team, smh still, even tho it's just a game, fire red means a lot to me sorry for rambling here but this unlocked memories lmao

i finished this game with a level70 blastoise. 7 years later, that blastoise is still on my battle team, now level 100.
