      dont hoping to much for breaking the WR..you still can continue your carrier as a cuber and be a winner in every competition..

    This is such bullshit. He doesn't deserve the record at all. Just go into the rankings, his ranking before this wasn't even close the top 50. And suddenly he just happens to stumble over a good scramble and gets the world record. He will never ever be able to replicate this, he will never ever be able to do anything big. But he will keep the record for a very long time because of luck. Gj!

    • @DGCubes
      @DGCubes 5 лет назад +10

      Regardless of his previous rankings (which are by no means bad), he deserves this record. Not only did he have very creative blockbuilding and impressive lookahead, but he also was able to control his nerves under what must have been insanely nerve-racking conditions. (And, to quote Erik Akkersdijk after he got his 7.08 WR ten years ago, getting lucky is not a crime.)

      This needs to be looked at very closely.
      (a) He was not a very top cuber like Feliks or Max. Only a few years back, previously unknown swimmers from China started setting multiple world records.
      (b) Red cross is very strange. Could a genuine scramble have been selected/included which favoured someone who could take advantage or someone who was color neutral while effectively excluding other competitors?
      Cat Klemons needs to make an official investigation.

      Nah, Feliks has broken the 3x3 single WR 10 times and the average 11 times so I doubt it would bother him. I think Max would be pissed as it is likely now he would never get the single WR and have a full set like Feliks did a year or so back.
