Preston North End drop points on the road away at Rotherham United as we take you through our away day at Rotherham and a trip the AESSAL New York Stadium in Rotherham. We first head to Sheffield, visiting the Sheffield Tap before heading to Rotherham and checking out their old stadium, Millmoor Stadium, then we head to the New York Tavern, The Cutlers Arms, The Bluecoat Wetherspoons, The Bridge Inn then onto the stadium and match vlog as it finished 1-1, with Jordan Hugill scoring for Rotherham United before Liam Lindsay equalised.

Aaron, please note, if you're going to Maine Road FC at some stage, the remains of the historic Fallowfield Stadium, later called the Harris Stadium, are, nearby, it's where the 1893 FA Cup Final between Wolverhampton Wanderers and Everton took place. Wolverhampton Wanderers won 1-0 Harry Allen netting for Wolverhampton Wanderers.
This is before Wembley was dreamed of and the only F. A. Cup Final ever played in Mcr
It was a major international sports stadium. The 1934 Empire Games staged cycling there around it's cycling track and Reg Harris the sprint cyclist bought it.
It was a huge site and the University of Mcr bought it and have since redeveloped part of it. 🙂👍

A pleasure as always bro to tag along to do PNE away days. Underrated place and doesn't some of the stick Rotherham gets. As an away fan some very good boozers to sample different ales and a bit of history with Millmoor if you like your history. Always take a point when not playing well away from home.

Really enjoyed the away day too, mainly because their fans were some of the friendliest bunch I've ever encountered on an away game. Never have I been welcomed into a town with a "welcome to X town, hope you have a good time today" before but I was after I left Rotherham central station! All of their fans mingling with ours and chatting away too, it's what away games are about. And it also felt I was back in 2000 with the beer prices! Hope they stay up. Shame we didn't win to top off the day though, and I also missed our goal because I was down on the concourse haha
Friendly place as they didn’t mind us mingling with them. A very underrated away day.
I will say best of luck to them and typical you have the same luck as us haha. 😂 always worth a trip to Sheffield as well if you have time.

I dont live in Rotherham these days, but you went to pretty much all my pre match watering holes.
One thing that confused me is why you caught the tram.
Theres a train from the platform next to the tap, that goes into Rotherham and if not that one then just over the bridge.
Much easier than walking up into Sheffiled for the tram
Unless you were calling off for another couple of cheeky pints

I know there is a straight train from Sheffield but we just fancied the tram j all honesty and cheaper for a single if I recall.

Still unbeaten in the league and 20 points from 8 games. Just needed a bit more today in the final third as I knew Rotherham would sit back and absorb the pressure. A point gained in more opinion. Good vlog boys looks a top day out.

Only ever got to see Maine Road just before it went and bought my first City top there so never got to witness it to comment mate so I only know the Etihad haha. We love a traditional ground though, Turf Moor, Elland Road, Villa Park, Hillsbrough etc… all up there in our favourite grounds

Game was poor as was the atmosphere, the whole thing was flat, even though we didn’t do enough to win there was only one team going to win it, they are poor and l1 awaits that tinpot team and stadium 😅
Hi mate yeah we got in, only took 5 mins to get in and served pretty quickly too pal, I didn’t know they had a back😂 game was really poor mate, a point is a point, need to beat WBA next week and that will set up some really interesting away games at Leicester and Ipswich
@@jsgcfootball agreed important when you don’t play to pick up a point, still unbeaten so plenty to be positive about, onto the next one then the big two games, just watched the Ipswich highlights and some of the stuff they play is scarily good, we will need to be resolute down there and when we play leceister we should try not to wind mr vardy up 🤣
