Its been quite a while since we last uploaded. While in Estonia we had a pretty shite weekend, my van was broken into, stuff was stolen, the police then impounded my van and I couldn't get it back and then to top it all off, sadly I got the news my wee granny back home died suddenly. So everything just came to a stop and we ended up going home for her funeral. It was close to christmas time so we ended up staying home for a bit and chilling with the family.
Anyway, we're almost ready to start travelling again but before we do, we have quite a few vlogs still to put out from before we stopped so this is the first of i think 7 vlogs we've got lined up for you. We recorded this after staying in Warsaw when we were looking for a place to find wild bison 🦬. We went on a guided tour through the Białowieża National Park to see if we could spot any...

We’re Dean & Nala, and we’ve been best friends since December 2018. I was cycling around the world when I heard Nala meowing out for me somewhere in the Bosnian mountains. With no intentions of keeping Nala, I knew i had to save the wee kitten and take her to the vet - but I was well aware of the fact that it might be a bit of a challenge considering I only had a bike. However, despite my concerns, Nala quickly climbed out of the front bag on the bike handle and straight onto my shoulder. Since then, we’ve been travelling the world together. Forgive me: I've just read most of the 700 comments with tears streaming. What a wonderful community from around the world sharing and feeling Dean's loss. How much we love his Nan, nana, granny, grandmother. How much we love Nala. How much we admire Dean. Darn, there must be an award out there for Nala and Dean. Dean, it must be so hard to be an influencer and have to share your hardest moments with people. But as you can see, you have so many who care about you, Nala, and your story. Your book and your travels on RUclips got me through COVID. Your adventurous spirit inspires so many, as well as me. I especially loved traveling vicariously through the European countryside and the cities with you on your bicycle, with Nala on your shoulder or in the basket.

OMGosh!! We're so sorry for the loss of your grandmother. We know how close your family is, and how much you loved her, and how much you enjoyed teasing her. You gave her so much love all the way till the the end of her life, giving her so much joy and happiness, how much more can any of us ask for in this lifetime? I was so sorry to hear about your Gran and your van. My mom just passed 2 days after Christmas, my Dad 5 years now so this has been my life since retiring young 9 years ago taking care of my parents, not much time for traveling but have always dreamed of traveling across the U.S. in a VW van. Will be training my Puff the Magic Cat who is just over a year old on a leash so she can go with me and we will be like you and Nala. So glad you and Nala are back taking all of us along for the ride🤗

Dear Dean. Just earlier today I was thinking about you and wondering how things were going. Then you posted this. I am so sorry to hear about your Nan. It was obvious that she was a joy in your family´s lives and it is a great loss. It is a blessing as well having had such a lovely person in your life. But, having to contend with having your van vandalized just made the time more devatating. I, and I am sure many others, are happy to see you and Nala again.
