Nah! She called the Chief as a favor. Imagine if every other citizen claims the same thing especially black and brown citizens. If it has been anybody else, the would have been arrested. She needs to resign and recuse herself from any case where a citizen is charged of fleeing or failure to stop.

The supervisor has to understand the outrage of the everyday citizens when the DA,s smug attitude is that she is above the law! Put your words in action sir,release her from the DA position where she will abuse her power! You can be darn sure if the media hadn’t gotten involved She would have done, just as the police officer was told, she would’ve had the ticket destroyed and went on her merry way! How can we have citizens follow the law and respect police officers when this is what you get from the DAs office. Do what you know is right or take care of your buddy which will it be!
Most people have some level of fear and respect for police officers, Sandra has none. She disrespects the law, the police, and her office. Do you think she would have acted this way if driving a car in Germany or another country? Of course not, because she would be worried that something would happen to her. But she doesn't believe anything would happen to her near her home because she is the law. I'm not as sure about protesting in a neighborhood, but she is a public official, so I don't mind as much. And if people can protest the supreme court by going to their neighborhood, when the law says they can't, then it seems fair to protest people in lower positions of power the same way.
