Very nice!! H2O has such a special place in so many mermaids hearts, and you definitely did that nostalgia magic we all hold justice! I bet this tail gets some GREAT views on shorts haha
I feel like this is the most satisfying perfectionism of scale creation I have ever seen. The light is captured so well. I'm in love. I keep attempting to make scales and restarting because I am not satisfied... so many hours... I can't stop... after realizing you do have some quality templates out there I might be able to. The custom photoshop brush is a great idea.
That is gorgeous, Courtney!❤ I still think getting a small in-home sublimation set-up would allow you to prototype (print/sublimate) your own personal tails and accessories for a much lower cost. It’s the method I’ve chosen, mostly to keep my tail designs safe from piracy, but it also allows me to try out different scales/patterns before committing to the whole print. There’s definitely a small learning curve, but you totally got what it takes!❤😊
Aaaa! It looks amazing! I know your tail releases are pod-exclusive, if I join the pod now, would I have a chance of scoring one when you do release the design? As one person I know your launches are probably much tighter than FinFolk's!
Haha I order a hybrid tail in the h2o/mako style a few months ago and when discussing which season I would prefer with the artist we also had a conversation about preferring the design of the mako mermaids haha xD The colors and in my opinion fin are just so much more beautiful and have more debth idk. The creator has the h2o design for all of their tails which was really important to me and I can't wait for next year when I'll finally get the tail!!
This was so much fun! H2O is probably my all time favorite show, even into my adult years. I even have a replica locket, similar to Cleo's. Thank you for the video, you are so talented! 🙂. My best advice is to join the Facebook mermaid community. I hate the platform, but, that’s where the mermaids are (and where most local/regional pods in the U.S. coordinate their meetups).

I actually have tried looking into a FB group for my area, though I am not a huge fan of the platform myself, but the one group I found seems to have disappeared after this last April. I even tried joining anyway but I couldn't comment or post anything without admin permission and though I waited for days I got no response. It's really strange. I will keep an eye out for any other groups, though and check back with it after a while. Thank you again so much for your help!
