I find it funny that Chima is part of Ninjago literally as the Wyldness has confirmed to be Chima itself so really, Chima isn’t dead, it’s just not its own series.
Yes, I'm really glad that Chima has been confirmed as part of the Ninjago universe! I would've mentioned this in the video, but it's been in the works for quite a few months, so I had my Chima section recorded and edited before this was confirmed. Thank you for watching!
I'm glad to hear that you were happy with where I placed Power Miners! It has a lot of memories for many people, myself included. Thank you for watching!
1:34 I'm still disappointed we never got those dinosaur Vidiyo minifigures. I'm guessing hypothetically we would've gotten a T Rex and a raptor or Pteranodon. There were some prototypes that made it out though ( a green Triceratops with orange headphones) and a blue Brachiosaurus ( though it didn't have a long neck , so it feels more like a Corythosaurus or Lambeosaurus ). Hopefully Lego can bring those two dino molds back for a future CMF or for a build a minifigure stand.
Yes, I remember seeing those prototypes! It's always a real shame when a Lego product gets cancelled mid-development. I would have loved to have seen them release. Thank you for watching!
They should bring back Chima and VIDIYO, the minifigure designs were so cool, but admittedly they should bring back all of these 1:21 that blue cat girl... You know what that head mould would be perfect for? A LEGO figure of Roxanne Wolf from Five Nights at Freddy's: Security Breach!!
Thank you!! And yes, Mixels were really close to making my list, because they were really imaginative and affordable. I was considering making an honourable mentions section, but this video was already my longest by far, so I didn't want to bore anyone with nearly 15 minutes of me talking! Thank you again for watching!!
My favorite discontinued theme was Hiddenside, didn't care for the app much but for the sets themselves I really loved them as I thought they were unique, had great variety and were very different from the other themes Lego produce. I have often thought that with so many themes that Lego produce it's a very difficult task for them to introduce a new one and it be successful for the following reasons. In my opinion for Lego to make a success of a new theme they have to entice current Lego fans to buy these new sets when they're already buying sets from their favorite themes when Lego isn't a hobby that is a cheap one. To entice new fans isn't so easy either as most peoples disposable income is limited so it has to be something really compelling just to make them notice with them more likely to buy sets from a licensed them such as Marvel or Star Wars as it's something that they're already familiar with. This video has been produced like a professional plus with enthusiasm and passion of a fan who loves Lego so well done to you 😊😊
It's hard to believe that Lego Hidden Side is almost 5 years old now! I also really enjoyed the sets! I really agree that licensed themes are easier to sell nowadays, since they appeal to fans of established franchises. I think that producing smaller sets and TV shows for unlicensed themes is a great route to take in order to help gain people's interest in the theme. And thank you so much! :D
@@Skylightbuilds Doesn't feel like 5 years as Hiddenside still feels new to me. Will be watching Dreamzzz with great interest as I'm enjoying the show and with some of the sets being very cool, weird and desirable. I sincerely hope Lego succeeds with this new theme as they're always at their best through their own creativity which is why we're all fans of this Danish toymaker in the first place😊
Nexo Knights is an interesting theme, I prefer ninjago myself but I can't lie the sets were cool in nexo knights, I feel that ninjago just always overshined that of nexo knights, it's a shame though the theme had potential.
I do agree, Nexo Knights had a lot of potential. I wish that Lego had made it a bit less similar to Ninjago, because I think that would have helped Nexo Knights to be more successful in its own right. Thank you for watching!
Lego Dino is a great choice! I easily could have turned this list into a Top 15 and included it, since Lego has such an interesting history. Thank you so much for watching!
Lego Elves is pretty cool! It's not one of my all-time favourite themes, but I really like the fantasy vibe, and that Lego wanted to try something different with it. Thank you for watching!!
Yes, there are a lot of really interesting links between Chima and Ninjago! We already knew that Chima was one of the 16 Realms, but theories surrounding Lord Ras being from the Chima world are really interesting. Thank you for watching!
I still own a lot of Hero Factory toys from when it first came out all the way to Brain Attack and have used them to make some customs and I've just rediscovered the cartoon and enjoyed watching it again.
I love M-Tron, so great choice! It definitely would've made my list if I hadn't had to limit it to themes from the past 20 years. Thank you for watching!

Wyldness is not Lego Chima only Lego Ninjago wanted to inspire a little Lego Chima
@@DracoXFire2011 On the official Ninjago Wiki the image of the Wyldness as well as the description says that the Wyldness is Chima
The narration is perfect and the video itself was very interesting! Keep up the great work!
Thank you so much! I'm really glad that you liked the video!
Was super happy that Power Miners was as high up as it was! One of my favorite childhood themes. Great video!

Great video. I'd like to offer Mixels as an honorable mention to the list.

Great video! I loved hero factory back in the day but if I had to pick one theme to bring back I’d have to go power miners, so much nostalgia there
Thank you so much! Power Miners is a brilliant theme, so I totally agree that it would be great to see it return someday.
Nicely presented and good voicework :)
Thank you so much! I really appreciate that.

A nice trip through legos big history. Personally my favorite original theme is Dino because I love all the Dino’s!
Lego Dino is a great choice! I easily could have turned this list into a Top 15 and included it, since Lego has such an interesting history.

nexo knights intro is so good omg. also do you like lego elves

fun fact: Lego Alien conquest, monster hunters and pharaoh's quest, all are connected
chima did not deserved to be cancelled. i miss it. BUT i hear that they're linking it with ninjago soooo 😼

In my opinion, lego sold its soul.
Vidiyo was awesome (except for the price)
my favorite, was a series that didn't make the list, m tron.

Your videos don't get the credit they deserve
Thank you, that's so kind of you to say! I'm really grateful for all of the support from everyone.
