@@russellhoffmann8353 their transmissions are considered “sealed” it’s confusing i know.And it just means the type of transmission fluid in the tranny should “last the life of the transmission”which is false,i can show you a link on how to drain the fluid and add more but don’t ever completely flush them.

@@michaelhood9024 this was exactly the video I needed. It took out all of the guesswork. It's the dumbest thing to have to do it this way, but I'm glad it can be done. There are so many people out there who don't even think to do the transmission.
The transmission filter cannot be serviced. There's a filter but it is rated for lifetime AFAIK . The transmission fluid can be flushed and replaced easily but the filter can't be swapped out
I think the transmission on these are sealed and the only way to check is underneath the car. There should be a fill and drain plug in the tranny. At least that is what I was told on some of these newer cars. I dont like it myself .
I see now it looks like there is no transmission fluid needed because there is no dipstick for.that only oil so if that's true then its all electrical.. Also for freon looks like there is 2 of the nozzles there or for A/C freon and other one for coolant low pressure i wonder if I need.freon in there too ???

It has a dry, dual clutch transmision there is no transmission fluid. If you are having trany problems look up ford fiesta PowerShift automatic transmission online, lawsuits galore.
If your brake fluid goes Down it does not mean there is a leak but the more the brake pads wear Down the fluid goes Down if you add fluid when you go to change the brake pads there will be an overflow on the reservior
You should mention the water should be distilled water mixed with antifreeze and say what type of antifreeze the car takes. Also you didn't say what level is needed on coolant overflow and brake reservoir overflow bottles.
I appreciate the attempt, however, the transmission needs to be done too, despite popular opinion. If you want your car to go the duration, you have to also do the transmission. I know, it's a little bit of work, but worth it for proper car maintenance.
@@OTBASH I would have to look for the one that I learned from, but you have to take the driver side tire off to get it. I had to get a long Allen wrench socket drive with a rounded tip to access it. You can't get a straight shot at it. You have to reach it with a hose attached to the oil container, and fill until it starts to run out, or overflow. It's not the worst I've ever had, but it takes some reaching.
Any car with turbo needs to use synthetic. Any non-turbo car can do with anything, but synthetic is the right choice for anyone doing 5k miles per year or more. I have a fiesta ST, and my oil dipstick is in a different place.
It’s called a bonnet not a hood - we aren’t American. In regards to coolent you don’t always just put in pure antifreeze it can be a mix with distilled water - it depends what the weather is like...
I have a Fiesta 2012 model, and there's another yellow top dipstick to the right side of the engine. Any idea what that is for? Other than that everything is as it is in the video.
I have heard that brake fluid absorbs water over time and your lines can rust from the inside. I've never flushed brake fluid before but I have had lines blow out.

Windshield washing fluid needs in below 33 F needs to be type for low temperature otherwise damages your pump, tank, and lines.
