Again don't use the term "Babri Masjid" it is not legally accurate. The legally accurate term is MASJID-e-JANMASTHAN! Ms Dutt, the BJP government is trying very hard to assuage the misguided fears of some in the Muslim community. The onus is on the Muslims themselves to INTEGRATE themselves into INDIAN, aka Hindu, society. They cannot continue to be exclusive as currently obtained. If they want to be exclusive, there are the convenient neighbors to their immediate East and the West. They have so many choices in India (only).

Then you did not understand Sanathana dharma at all. The dharma respects the truth, not any crap they face knowing that it will someday cause destruction. Sanathana dharma is tolerant of those who follow adharmic ways of preaching as long as they don't touch our integrity. That's the part of "Ahimsa paramo dharmah", while actively participating in dharmic wars when it is compromised as stated by "Dharma himsa tathaiva cha". The respect should be reciprocated. When it doesn't not just Sanathanis but no other religions should become passive. It is any dharma's first right to stay alive and the sense of respect should not question its own existence. There is nothing more idiotic than giving respect thats not reciprocate. As simple as that.
If Muslims generally don’t join BJP Party on the basis of their perceived Hindumisia, the BJP can’t give ticket to them to be their candidates. No point in agonizing about the low number of Muslim MPs in the parliament when such a condition prevails! There is no rule saying that BJP does not permit Muslims to be their Party members! I am not great admirer of Barkha but this is her best interview which is unbiased and balance where she is not pushing her own personal preference which is really surprising.

In India there is two types of muslims. One is Pakistanis other is Indian muslims.
Defination of Pakistan:- we are muslims. We are different from Hindus culturally, ethnically and our language is different. Our tradition and practice is very different. Arabs, kazak and Turks are our forefathers and we have no relation with Hindus.

I am a BJP supporter but I like this channel. I nowadays admire Barkha (but same is not the case with the likes of Ravish and that other guy).
Burkha doesn't understand one simple thing. The leaders she mentioned as the consensus builders and gracious enough to talk to the people across the aisle are not the ones who were on the ground. The current crop of leaders are largely the ground workers who faced the brunt of an ecosystem that served a party and ideology. They know the true face of the so-called Indian liberals.

Since most of my time spent in different countries, Muslims with their family to stay few weeks in Islamic countries like Pakistan, Kuwait and then compare the conditions of Muslims with India. I think that will open up their eyes that how lucky and comfortable they are!
Refugees suffered immensely after partition and this was witnessed by their children struggling for bare necessities - roti, kapada aur makan, now they are educated, well off but very angry with the congress and liberals.
They also witnessed exodus of Kashmiri pandits and appeasement of Muslims by congress and other parties. So it is awakening of Hindus who have been suppressed for centuries. Hindus have come to understand Islam, its history, Gajawa hind, pan Islam, Muslim brotherhood, jihad, sir tan se juda, forced conversion, Waqt board etc all this does not fit in their ideology. Still they don’t hate Muslims and don’t want to harm them.This division is made deeper by media and some politicians.

I am not on the BJP camp for sure, but this interview gives a fresh perspective to a whole bunch of issues & viewpoints that may not sway but, but helps me respect the other side. Bravo!

As a Bengali Hindu Brahmin who is enthusiastic about Hinduttva and all Sanatani Hindu traditions and customs and specially Hindu rituals , I do not endorse enforced vegetarianism ..I definitely do not support and rather I feel detested about consumption of beef and pork by any Hindus or who are from the larger Hindu pantheon. . Its all whats called "civilizational memory" which means somethings will echo through time and be remembered by generations way down the line. Ours is the 20th generation after the invaders destroyed the temple, if it was not us, next generation would have built it.
Dasguptaji is a darpok Hindu ideologue...strikes me as neither here nor there on most issues... he refrains from clearly stating positions that most Hindus believe and say on the most contentious issues, as per the leftist/ congressi ecosystem (of whom BDutt is most certainly still a strong pillar of)...
Eg. Love jihad can't be solved by strong SMA... love jihad involves deceit to convert unsuspecting Hindu girls and it is not a few isolated incidents here and there (see journalist Swati Goel Sharma's body of work on this matter) and needs strong disincentive to prevent it & hence anti-love jihad laws...or that the threat of demographic change is a non-issue... it isn't looking at population growth rates of various religious denominations...it is inevitable that large scale ghar wapasi is the only solution to protecting the long term religious, cultural and territorial integrity of Bharat...Sanatan Dharm needs to be rediscover its congregational and proselytising characteristics...
Ground level people in the BJP and RSS already know all this...maybe the BJP/RSS leadership including the old guard like Mr. Dasgupta here realizes this but can't say it publicly... in any case, they better start working on this issue with an eye to the future, or they'll be left on the wayside by both their party and the Hindu electorate...
