The 170mm cannon is meant for use with the *old* Nemo (Unicorn Desert Color Ver.) P-Bandai kit released many years ago. Bandai doesn't appear to want to reprint that kit, so actually *getting* that MG is going to kill your wallet. Hey, you did well getting the tripod form correctly! Many reviewers mess up the crotch connection with the pipes, so the kit ends up squatting too low.
Considering it's just a re-colour of the very cheap and very often re-produced MG Nemo, I'd say its a complete waste of money and time to try to hunt that P-Bandai down.
The cockpit hatch is actually the most heavily armored part of the majority of MS's. (At least in UC) They can shoot there if they want, but it would be a waste of a shot.

This review is spot on! Just finished building my GC Detector and all those issues are there. Weak wrists, loose hips, and all kinda of posing headaches. Im very glad i will be painting and modifying it because trying to stand it on its own usually results in some yoga poses as the hips let loose and it plants its head (or cannons) to the floor. But it is a really cool looking kit.

Bandai has awkwardly make a bad release on all re100 kits with loose joints, no reason on degrading a kit lower than hg. So it doesn't affect MG? Frame doesn't equal to good joint or great articulations, do it properly, it will still be a good kit. Those shallow cannons on the shoulder show how bad they want it to be.
I like the concept but execution is a little too shoddy. Lamentably people are looking at this kit simply to cannibalize its weapons. Depending on where you live in the world, aftermarket 1/100 weapon options are either hard to find, or too expensive for what they are.
Nguyễn Mạnh Hà That's the whole point of "THE DARK AGE" subtitle in the last few dozen Mecha Gaikotsu videos. He moved out of Japan because of the North Korea missile test scare and is in between residences, so his old video setup is largely gone. He did mention things are going to get better.

An alternative to drilling out the barrel could be painting the inside black, which is much easier and cheaper

This kit is missing major parts like an axe that should come standard to the face and a heat rode through the back of the cockpit.

Ngl I don’t really think this kit gets the hate it deserves. People tend to forget that gunpla are for display first, then play.
What I really want is MG PSYCHO GUNDAM, PSYCHO GUNDAM MK-II, PSYCHO GUNDAM MK-III and DESTROY GUNDAM.
...save those for HGUCs, those would be way too big and you might need to sell both of your kidneys. Hell the HGUC Psycho Gundam is already huge.
