Have you ever listened to the unencumbered version? It's a whole minute longer and completes the song rather than fading out. The song fades out in the album cut because Load's manufacturer could not release the full album with the unencumbered version on it due to time restraints. The unencumbered version later appeared on The Memory Remains' B-side and is my favorite version by far aside from the S&M version. Even with the fade-out, this is still one of their best songs.
I think the point being made was no where does it say slowing and reverbing songs makes them better. It makes them different. Obviously I enjoy the original more, but this edit has a cool vibe to listen to it with a different flavour. Its not about making tallica songs better, just a new way to experience it🤘
