To VgV Costums. I have just made an engine for a costumer with 249hp/7700rpm and 252nm/6100rpm on a 2L ! So yes it can be done if you build and adjust your engine corect ! Regards Henrik
The engine block was a 2,1 (stroker, Ø83.5mm x 95.5mm). The cyl. head used Supertech oversize valves. Mech. lifters. Supertech springs and Titanium Retainers. The intake ports was heavely modified. The "hole" where the orig. injector was located was welded up. and the intake port was "grinded" for a better shape to match the Jenvey throttle bodies. The intake runners "airhorn" was about 40cm long to improve the tq. Unknown header and 2,5" exhaust. I can not remember the camshaft data. But it is sometheing like 290* duration with 106-108 lobe angle.
Obviously extensive work was invested to have this perform ship well. What I want to know is whether our not this is a stock head/block configuration or something Frankenstein'd. I want whatever head this has, what kind is it?
Shane SRAM That doesn't sound ignorant at all, I thought you were referring to rocker arms, but I then realized that the engine is in SOHC format. No worries :D
If your a Honda owner than you know a lot more about big bangs and steam rolling from your hood, That motor is bad ass, and I run a 1.8 16v, and love it. VW Power.
BaStUnChO guncho, mk1 brother there is so much variety in things u can do its amazing, and then no ecu or computer controlled components and still better then all the new shit they come out with ! ,...
Why do people like you think it's impossible? It clearly isn't. Full port/polish, shaved deck and head, forged internals, huge cam, oversized valves, itb's, custom header, crazy high compression... You don't need a big engine
In der Berg- und Slalom Scene bist du nichts wenn du nicht minimum 300PS hast ( Radleistung ) da hat jeder 16 Hunderter 265PS.. schau mal bei Minichberger Motorsport oder Nemeth Motortechnik....
265CHP is insane on an NA 16v vw
2.0 16v 265hp non turbo very good ! now have 2.0tsi 180-310hp !
265hp/240tq?! That's extremely impressive! Dyno plot/motor specs?
ABF Forever
265hp with only 8000rpm!!! Nice job. 240nm is crasy for a 2.0l na
Wow einfach nur wow die mk1er sind die besten
ist ein MK3 motor
non turbo nice power

was that a 8v or 16v ?
16V
do you have more details of this build or know where i can get such info ?

that is more or less the setup I had in mind. however, im using an 83mm X 90mm, block machining was required.
отлично, но нужен дополнительный успокоитель ремня ГРМ. видна вибрация, если дойдет до резонанса... порвется.
в остальном - супер. лайк ;)
Anazing. Ill guess had 150 before we knew about tuning
STW Motor?
this is the motor i want for my next rabbit all motor
Where's the alternator ?
compression ratio????
what is the A/F ratio for this engine? compression ratio? and what is the full advanced timing
Obviously extensive work was invested to have this perform ship well.

Still available?
where can i fond more info about this? thanx.
what compression is this
Solid or hydro cam followers?
must be solid... hydro ones are not really used for racing purposes.
Shane SRAM No they aren't, the're called followers. There's a difference.
i think robert bentleys manual calls them tappets.
Shane SRAM No sir; plus, even Volkswagen calls them Hydraulic Cam Followers themselves.

More details about this motor modification.
how many compression?
yes
Timing belt was bouncing like hell
Have some information of this engine?
Seems to be a VW EA827 engine
How i can contact you?
I want one.
I was expecting a loud bang with steam coming out everywhere lolll;)
Impressive tho i match this power w honda engines on stock bore/stroke

NICEEeeeeeeee
265ps SAE Din 210ps
not is abf do you know golf 3 a59 rallye car it's a prototype this is racing engine :) sorry for my bad english ...
BaStUnChO guncho, mk1 brother there is so much variety in things u can do its amazing, and then no ecu or computer controlled components and still better then all the new shit they come out with ! ,...
A59 was a turbo engine, this is a natural aspirated...
240tq on a na 2liters???its not 2000cc for sure...let us know the true displacement of it lolll
Its an ABF....its a 2L engine, fact!
undestructible legendary ABF.. i have that one but stock :)

it's very possible with a 2 liter with the right fueling and ign timing .how reliable it would be for everyday use that a different problem
which block and cylinder head? thx
