Thank you Father, for reminder to do penance every Friday, not rush (or be late) when we're spending time with God or saying our Rosary, and to dress for Mass as if we are before Christ and all His Angels and Saints...because we are! 😇

If penance can give you favor with the Father then His Son died for nothing. (John 14:6). The sabbath day is Saturday if you are under the law of the old testament. The Apostles gathered together on the Lord's Day (Acts 20:7) the first day of the week, written in the 1st century as Sonday, but later changed to Sunday.
