- Hey guys and welcome to a new episode of my designer bag review series!
In today’s video I am coming with a 1 year review of my Gucci Dionysus (small) bag. After having this bag for almost a year I feel like I can give you a realistic feedback on its durability, wear and tear and the versatility of the bag. I will also mention the price increases and the possibilities of getting this bag on the preloved market.
As for maybe the most important questions, I will share my thoughts with you about whether it is a trend piece which has ran it course or still on-trend, or it is a total classic.

Wow what a great review!!! I have been so in between buying the mini vs the small and then also if I should even buy it. I think this bag is a classic honestly, I know it was very trendy when it first came out but it’s still so beautiful to me. I think I’m gonna bite the bullet and buy the small, if I can’t carry my pepper spray in my bag I don’t want it lol.

Would you recommend the bag for a wheelchair user? I can only wear it crossbody laying on my lap. Is the strap OK for this kind of wearing?
Hmm if it is only crossbody, then I wouldn’t recommend the version I show in this video because “officially” it isn’t a crossbody bag. Although somewhere in the comments there is a link for the new version which is the same size as this one and they added the cross body feature/or basically just a longer strap😅 i think it would be a good idea for you to check that out☺️
I have the same problem with the glazing that is cracking. Its at the breaking point where you flip the bag open. I hope it will not get worse. Do you still use the bag?
Ah thats so annoying 😫 especially at this price point...🤨 my 2 year warranty ends in July I think so I will try to get it fixed in store. Yeah i still wear it (as much as I can during lockdown..😅) but yeah still one of my favourites actually ☺️ - besides this issue

How do you feel about the new small Dionysus version with the crystals and the longer chain that makes it possible to carry crossbody??

Exactly 😍 the list is not complete yet, but as soon it is, I am posting it😊 at the moment I am focusing on bags and shoes, not so much on SLGs, but i I am considering getting a designer card holder in the near future 🙈

Does the chain have a lot of weight to it?
Enough to feel quiality, but not too heavy when you are using it :)
Found this because i don’t have any simple bags and I’m wearing a track suit and this is the closest thing I can find in my collection

Check on their site it’s like two different bag I was shocked lol it looks sooo alike. it’s just one on the inside has a section and the other don’t

@@christinewong6057 ah yeah the one you posted as first is the new version i think because the main difference with that is that you can make it normal crossbody (which I love and miss from mine), but as I can see it is smaller as well. it isnt only missing the section but only has one smaller department - or at least thats how I see it on the pictures :D
