Gundam Battle Ops 2 truly made me fall in love with this suit. It truly feels like the endgame suit of all transformables. From including the Zeta plus signature thigh beam cannons all the way to the Incredible amount of weapons available in its backpack alone, the suit is just perfect for any kind of situation. Which to me, is perfect for someone like Amuro who in Chars Counterattack is pretty much just a one man army. The design too is just a work of art. It's so hard for me to believe the same person who designed the Gerbera Tetra made this absolute beauty of a suit.
I hope you're happy... I had talked myself out of the Hyaku Shiki, and I wasn't interested in this... and now I've just placed an order for both. ¥38,600 for both before shipping.

Lots of moving parts and fine details on this one. Thanks for the showcase! Never been a fan of the color but will pick up if I ever find it on the second hand market. Its going to be a long wait till the EZ8 and Option parts set come out so keeping my eye out for anything nice in between.
Got mine a few days ago, and it’s still shocking how much they cram into figures at this size. I still feel very wary of all the transforming metal robots because there can be tight joints, and some clearances for moving parts are scary. Undeniable this looks pretty They NEED to do the Delta Plus from Unicorn. Shameful such a sexy design hasn’t been shown love
Just found your channel recently and thanks to your reviews I just collected my first Robot Spirits figure. I am a huge 08th MS team and looking to collect all of the figures in the line, is there any chance you could do a video on posing the figures?
Now don’t get me wrong the Gera Doga is in my mind gorgeous. so with that said this is when they take two feet out the door, next there be painting there gundam solid gold (zeta) and saying that 0080 isn’t the best gundam series of all time. Fools. Personally it’s crazy to me… I mean insane that any person could not absolutely love 0080 and know it is the zenith of the gundam franchise. A shinning gem!!
My only complaint about this design is subjective but it's the AK-47. I like the design of the Re-GZ beam rifle way better and I think a space AK is kind of dumb on top of putting it on Amuro's suit.
I personally think the Zeta plus design is cooler. But the shelves presence of the Re-GZ Custom is the superior one between the two figures. As much as I dislike the purple and red color scheme of the backpack it does look very impressive. The Zeta plus head articulation is bad though as it sits inside collar armor too deeply. Stability-wise I think the Re-Gz Custom is also the better of the two. My biggest complaint about the Re-GZ is that the V-fin is not sharp enough/refined compared to the Zeta plus and the Zeta. It looks like Bandai just half assed it. Some QC paint issue here and there which is not uncommon for Metal Robot Spirit. Really wouldn't call this a real transformation though:) Pretty much just joint deformation but since I don't care about the waverider mode it doesn't bother me much. I do really like the AK on this figure (way more than I expected). I in general like it better when the beam rifle is short enough for the figure to do an elbow bend when being posed. For that the Zeta plus mega cannon launcher is way too clumsy for my liking. The Zeta's beam rifle is just a tad too long for that elbow bend as well. From what I noticed the recent Metal Robot Spirit has become hefty in terms of weight. The Re-GZ without the backpack feels just as heavy as the Zeta plus and Zeta with full gear. The Hazel was even more impressive in that regard. I just wish that they would go back to the super matte finish like the one seen on the EX-S from 2016.
@@miken8875 Now now, each universe has their own approach. You don't want them to simply copy existing materials, do you? Let them be. UC has space-Kalashnikov, AC has space-Uzi, FC has space-Colt, etc. There's plenty of style in Gundam franchise for everyone to enjoy without being negative on others.
An underrated Amuro suit 👌 Although the figure looks really nice, I much prefer the grunt style look for the original Re-Gz. Great review once again and I do hope that they somehow do make Jegans in their damashii line to go along with these awesome CCA suits

I can agree with that. The design is a bit too “on the nose” and kind of detracts from the “giant robot” aspect to a degree
