hug1up So to clarify, in the prior verse you quoted he says “ you could take everything”( as in possessions). He is talking about our first fire and passion for Jesus. Many Christians get fired up and passionate but often the “fire” fades and we go back to wanting possessions and other things that aren’t important. Throughout the song he talks about the struggle of his flesh batting his spirit and desires to follow Jesus. Hope that helps
