I once was running around on the beach and an entire flock of small birds went swooping and flying and swirling all around me and my best friend, flying alongside us as we ran. I’ll never forget it!
I was swimming in Sikia Cave in Greece, this Cave has a large hole in the top. It started raining while in the Cave which was amazing!!! The rain stopped as we were leaving and the sun came out, the colors of the water were incredible!! One of the best days I've ever had!!!
My husband and I were playing in the water at Dayton Beach when we we’re surprised with a Shuttle lift off….. neither of us had seen a shuttle lift off before….so awesome in the water watching it.
I don’t really have any crazy beach stories. I live in Iowa so no where near an ocean but love the beach. I love to go to Florida to the beach. Last year I took my 5 year old son to see the ocean for the first time. He loved it. It was so fun to watch him fall in love with the beach/ ocean.
Great box. My wildest beach story was learning to captain a catamaran the year I turned 39. Had my sister who turned 40 the week we were on vacation along with her two teenage sons. Took my sister and her older son on the catamaran down in Fort Myers Beach, Florida. Best sand ever- talcum powder feel to it. The tide was low so when we got to the sandbar had to start getting off the craft to get over it. They got off and I was able to sail it all the way on the beach. Lol! Sister was not too happy but that was amazingly freeing experience!
Samantha...... my beach experience happened some 60 yrs ago when we lived in Southern CA........ I was 4 or 5 I think....... playing in the surf with my older sister when an undertow got me........ she wasn't much bigger than me and couldn't save me so she screamed for my Dad, a little ways away and he had to run and rescue me........... to this day I have a fear of water, especially when there are a lot of people around - I get an out of control feeling. And it's too bad because I love to sit near the surf or somewhere with an open window where I can hear the soothing sound of waves or running water, which fortunately I can now do in my Colorado home. Thanks for sharing!
One is my favorite beach memories is when my daughter and I took a ride on a small boat at the beach and we were able to see lots of dolphins including a baby dolphin. It was amazing.
My beach story was during Covid on Narragansett beach and pre Covid you could get yummy donuts at the snack stand but they didn’t allow them to have these awesome Allie’s donuts unless you stop at there shop. After driving three hours to get to the beach I just couldn’t stop but there was a family with like 2 dozen and it was glorious moment for me. I was drooling for sure. So I literally was brave and walked up to them and offered money for a donut but to my surprise they gave me two. My hubby thought the strangers would just laugh at me but I arrived back to our blanket with two delicious donuts.😊
This box is soo good! I wouldn't say it's a crazy beach Memory, but my favorite was visiting my family in Florida and as the sun was setting on the water we saw five dolphins out in the the distance. It was like a movie
I grew up by the beach, so I have a LOT of beach times. But my favorite/coolest was when there was a storm right of the beach and lighting was hitting the water and lighting it up. I realize now that was favorite to starve there and watch! But it looked super cool!
I’m from the east coast near the ocean but my family went to CA when my son was 18 months old. His first time going to the beach was in San Francisco . He loved the water and playing in the sand.
My first beach experience was when I was when I was 41 and the first beach was Hawaii absolutely amazing now going to any beach will not be as beautiful. Love the beach.
Hi Sam! One morning my neighbor called and yelled, “whale” into the phone. I ran outside and a gray whale was not 10 yards from the shoreline. He was rubbing and rolling on the sand scratching like a bear on a tree. We got fins, rolls, flipper waves, and blows! It was a fun show!
When I was active duty my parents took my kids to the beach in FL every year. One year there was a bad riptide and my dad and daughters got stuck in it and the lifeguards had to go out to rescue them. They made the news and the front page of the paper the next day.
Wow what a great box. Great choices. I'm surrounded by beaches and I'm a water bug. My favorite beach adventure was when I was in a jeep wrangler and we went riding along the water...So much fun!! What a generous giveaway being offered ⛱️
My favorite beach memory was when in college me and my friend drove to West Palm Beach to stay a week with her cousin and we toured a beautiful mansion on the beach and then on the drive back home we stopped at South Miami Beach and Daytona Beach.
I love the beach more than anything in the world! I don't really have any "crazy" beach stories, but I do have plenty of beach memories. My family goes to the Jersey Shore every summer. One of my favorite memories is the Friday night fireworks. Every Friday night they set off fireworks on the beach, and my family and I sit on a blanket in the sand to watch the fireworks and eat ice cream from the boardwalk!
Uh oh…I know the company that runs Beachly is now running AllTrue, and two of these items are from AllTrue past boxes. The bamboo serving set and the measuring cups. After what went down with AllTrue, this concerns me a bit.
I love the beach so much! Once we were trying to take a family picture on the beach. This was back in the 35 mm film camera days. We had the camera on a tripod and a sea gull kept getting in front of the camera checking it out! 😂
Okay I remember a crazy beach experience! We drive 18 hours to Myrtle Beach with my 18 month old. We were so excited to take her to the beach!! When we stepped out onto the sand for the didn’t time….. she HATED it. We have a picture of me trying to set her down with her knees pulled all the way up like a frog because she didn’t want to put her feet down.
Hello Samantha! My wild beach experience was when my son’s high school baseball team went to Florida over spring break to play baseball! Being on the beach for 5 days with 15 high school baseball players was a hoot!
Nice subscription. I love the cutting board and measuring spoons. I don't have a wild beach story but, my favorite beach experience is when we were young and my mother cooked this whole meal to take with us to the beach. It was such a great time, great memory. 💙
My beach experience is from my childhood. All of us kids naturally were playing pirate and dug big holes at our campsite for buried treasure but neglected to fill them in at the end if the day nor tell the adults. Needless to say a few adults fell into the giant holes after dark walking to and from the site. Thankfully no one seriously hurt but it was hysterical having various adults calling for help after dusk.
Favorite beach experience is always watching the 🌅 sunsets when we are down in Florida and everyone claps when it is done. 👏🏼 I love how the sky is different every night, how it is something that brings everyone together and how we are all simultaneously in awe of God’s handiwork. 🥰
I don't have any wild and crazy beach stories, but my favorite beach memories are from my honeymoon in Cancun. Turquoise water and lots of beautiful shells! 🐚
I think one of my favorite experiences is getting to the beach early enough to see the dolphins swim by. Always warms my heart and makes me love the ocean even more.
That was a terrific box!! My favorite beach memory was when we lived in Savannah & took my MIL to the beach on Tybee for the first time. She had never seen the ocean before!! She was 78 at the time and wanted to know what was on the other side of that “line”…we told her China!!🥰
Hi Samantha ❤ Congrats on your new RV!!! 🎉🎉🎉 We rented a catamaran in St Barts and swam on shore and didn't realize it was Shell Beach. The whole beach was completely covered in sea shells. It was like something out of a movie!!!
Great box. I love the beach. Heading to St. Lucia in 20 days (I'm counting it down). Cool story. I was snorkeling in Jamaica and saw a really big shell, as I reached out to pick up the shell (for a closer look) a small octopus popped up out of it. I was so excited.
Beachly is a favorite box of mine. I love the beach and being by water ❤ my all time favorite beach experience is getting married in Maui on the black sand beach at sunrise 😊
When my mom and I went to Trinidad, where she’s from, we went to one of the beaches out there and set our stuff near one of the caves. When we came back, there were two dogs who had curled up near our things as if to guard our stuff, only they were snoozing so I don’t know how much guarding actually happened 😂
My favorite beach memory was just March of this year. My baby girl (23) took her momma to Cancun! My first time out of the country and I’m about to be 57 this month! (My thumbnail/photo is me on the beach!)
My family loves going to the beach. I don’t have any really wild beach memories but I do remember parasailing off of Myrtle beach and looking down and there was a small shark below us and was happy that they didn’t decide to dip us into the water near it. That would have been scary.
Two months ago I was in Miami Florida and when I was swimming there was this super long scary barracuda-esk looking fish near the shore. Best believe I did not go back into the water the rest of the trip!
When I was 18 I went to Sanibel Beach in Florida after a really decently strong storm I literally was sitting on a wall of shells that washed up on the beach. Amazing pickings to take home on that trip. Would love to win a mystery Beachly box. Good luck everyone 😉
Went to Grand Cayman last year… got into ocean from beach, noticed when walked in there was a HUGE step down. When I went to get out, being short, as I stepped up, my leg sank into sand I fell, and with waves, I body was just thrown around, back and forth, back and forth, and where the heck was my husband??? Just watching and says to me… you dropped the noodle!!!! Men!!!
Iam sadly not in the US , but Iam very lucky to have the sea 5mins walk from where i live and my kids and I love the Beach and have Picnics there I wish all of you guys in the US good luck ❤
I got the measuring spoons in my Spring Alltrue box, and they were really nice. The silicone spoons are super simple to clean up afterwards. I just stick to using the tablespoon for dry powders, since I'm afraid of staining.
I just came across this box. It is so exciting. I had no idea it was a thing. I love the beach. Just got back from a cruise and that’s all I wanted to do was find a beach to put my toes in. I am looking this subscription up now
my favorite beach memory is dancing and playing in the drum circle at a secluded, black sand beach on the Big Island .... so much fun .... I miss it. (long time subscriber, but not 'publicly' subscribed)
We were taking our kids to the beach for the first time and there was a hurricane a few days out. The waves were taller than the kids and we were the only ones there but we still had a ball!!
I'm not sure if this is exciting to you but to me this was absolutely awesome. About 20 years ago my son was around 10 years old and he was going down the long pier at PCB and he helped pull in a shark. Yes it was released but he was so excited.
I curated the exact same box as you. Great minds so last year we did a kayak tour of the mangroves and the kayak had peddles so you didn’t have to use a paddle. My peddle was set up wrong s pop everyone was so far ahead of me. I felt like ralphies brother in a Christmas story yelling wait up wait up. I finally accepted my fate and just stayed by myself in the faaarrr back
One of my favorite “crazy” beach experiences was the beaches in Puerto Vallarta Mexico and getting to go down to the beach each morning and “rescue” the sand dollars and put them back into the water. I certainly don’t see those back in Virginia 😂
I don't have any wild beach stories, but I do love going to the beach. I used your code to get this box, so excited. So many great choices.

My husband and I went on vacation to Puerto Rico and decided to kayak to the Bio Bay after dark. We had NEVER kayaked and decided to do a dbl kayak 🤭 llet me just say our teamwork was not great, it was dark and we are out in the ocean...what a wild ride! We made it out, barely made it back and we are still married 😉
We took my son to Santa Cruz for his 10th birthday. We had our blanket with our snacks on it. We went to play in the water, and a seagull got to our snacks and swallowed a cheese stick whole! All in one bit, wrapper and all! Crazy bird.
Love the beach! Play Kan Jam with the kids, they bury each other, and shell hunting. Wildest story, I think, is missing the last ferry and getting stuck on Ship Island in Gulfport,MS 😆
I have no wild beach stories, but we have officially become beach going people since our daughter was born - we want her to love and appreciate family summer beach memories!!
We live only 2 hours from the beach. My niece lives in Orange Beach Alabama. We have been staying at the beach since my boys were 7 and 10 they are grown men with children taking their own babies to the beach!!
my beach experience- went on a family vacation to florida from pennsylvania. i felt something swim by & scrape my leg, i yelped, my dad reached down & was bit by a small shark!
My favorite beah experience (maybe 'crazy' to some because I was maybe 10 years old)--my family was in Greece, and we were at a beachside restaurant on the south side of the island we were visiting (the restaurant was actually carved into a wall of lava rock...how cool!!!). My dad, an immigrant from Greece, decided that my brother and I were old enough to have wine--so he mixed wine with 7 up and gave it to us. My mom (American-born from Greek immigrant parents) was aghast because we were so young! And my brother--12 years old at the time--threatened to pull a citizens' arrest situation. My dad looked at him, shrugged his shoulders, and said "we are in Greece...no one will say anything..." And it was yummy!
Another somewhat crazy beach story was when I went to a friend’s beach bonfire. One of the embers popped out of the fire and onto my foot. It literally felt like a little pop on my foot and I have the scar to prove it
Hello So, last summer my friend & I settled on a spot near the shoreline. After wading in/outof ocean, we went to get snacks & drinks. A beachgoers service dog wouldn’t leave us alone while we ate. The irresponsible owner never came to collect the dog.
Not too crazy of a story but living on the coast, I was trying to make my dog be a beach dog. She hated water, and I mean all water (sprinklers, rain, water bottles, spray bottles, and the ocean). She tangled me up in her leash when she saw a wave coming and used me to block the water from getting to her. It was not a pleasant walk home (for me at least) and the was the last time I took her to the beach 🏖
My mother-in-law always sends a shark tooth in my son’s birthday card because he loves them so much. We don’t live by a beach so that’s really exciting for him.
My very best beach trip happened in February at Virginia Beach. We went on a whale watching tour and it was cold ! But we saw whales (on my bucket list) and it was very economical. It actually snowed the last night and we saw snow on the beach.
My first time at a fl beach I am enjoying the beautiful blue green water and lady comes running yelling shark I didn't know I could move that fast out of the water lol
My boys and I just got back from the beach. We were taking a walk and there were 5 teenage boys in the water and they were screaming like little girls. There was a school of stingrays and it scared them it was funny to watch them.
When I was kid my brother was pulled into the ocean after a rouge wave came in out of nowhere! He ultimately was saved but he does not swim to this day and for years it struggled to get him to shower or bath.
My favorite beach experience was early one morning my husband and I were looking at the tide pools and saw a bunch of whales swim by. They swam by so fast I didn't have time to go get my camera but it was spectacular!
I don’t have any crazy beach stories- I’m too tame! The best I can do is we found a whale jaw bone in the surf last year. Oh, and one year we found a dead shark washed up on the beach. Just a little one- about four feet long.
I would love to try Beachly!! I hope to win because I love the beach. My crazy memory is from about 30 years ago!! As a teen we went to Jamaica and we're in the sun all day. My dad's ankles and feet turned purple because they burned so bad. Under those socks hadn't even seen sun like that before 😂😂😂 to this day, my parents go tanning before trips so my dad doesn't turn purple again!!! He was in so much pain!
I'm so boring as I live in a landlocked state, but I visit Mexico a lot. My only "story" would be trying to stay upright along the surf in Cabo. The beaches aren't swimmable there because it's so rough, so hard to walk near.
Believe or not, I used to live in Cuba. You really couldn’t safely swim in the ocean because barracuda, sharks, stingrays and seasonal jellyfish. But there was a place called Windmill Beach that had rock formations that formed a semicircle around the shore and that was finished off by a concrete platform on one side. It kept out the larger critters but I did see an octopus once when my Dad took me snorkeling. The beach itself was not sandy but very rocky. You had to wear tennis shoes to protect your feet. I was 7 so everything was fun for me.
When I was 16 my parents bought a new car. They trusted me way too much I took my little brother an hour away and we went cliff diving at the lake. At the time I thought we were getting away with it but now that I'm older I realize they definitely knew what we were doing😂
Tulum MX beach, after dinner walk came across a huge sea turtle digging in the sand! She laid her eggs , covered them up and headed for the sea! This took her about 3 hours! Wild story! ( officials observe and mark the nest for protection)
My wildest beach moment was when a seagull game over my head and took the fish right out of my hand, scared the crap out of me, never ate fish on the beach again lol

Swam with dolphins in Hawaii! So unexpected and fun! 😮🏖️

I took my kids to New Beach last yr the waves were crazy but the cleanest and not over crowed Beach. Also showers and bathrooms amazing.

My dad looked at him, shrugged his shoulders, and said "we are in Greece...no one will say anything..."
And it was yummy!
Another somewhat crazy beach story was when I went to a friend’s beach bonfire. One of the embers popped out of the fire and onto my foot. It literally felt like a little pop on my foot and I have the scar to prove it
Hello
So, last summer my friend & I settled on a spot near the shoreline. After wading in/outof ocean, we went to get snacks & drinks. A beachgoers service dog wouldn’t leave us alone while we ate. The irresponsible owner never came to collect the dog.
I was walking on the beach in Mexico and all of a sudden, a huge eagle ray was swimming right along next to me! A once in a lifetime experience!
Gah! Those monstera trays are soo adorable. 🤍
I love the coconut shirt!!
It actually snowed the last night and we saw snow on the beach.
some great items. I miss going to the beach
My first time at a fl beach I am enjoying the beautiful blue green water and lady comes running yelling shark I didn't know I could move that fast out of the water lol
Nice waterproof speaker
My boys and I just got back from the beach. We were taking a walk and there were 5 teenage boys in the water and they were screaming like little girls. There was a school of stingrays and it scared them it was funny to watch them.
When I was kid my brother was pulled into the ocean after a rouge wave came in out of nowhere! He ultimately was saved but he does not swim to this day and for years it struggled to get him to shower or bath.
Living in Hawaii and laying on the beach in the rain... no worries
So kind to do this giveaway
My only beach vacation was with my family and we where in Orlando and the weather was extremely cold we could only play in the sand since it was -1
My favorite beach experience was early one morning my husband and I were looking at the tide pools and saw a bunch of whales swim by. They swam by so fast I didn't have time to go get my camera but it was spectacular!
Hawaii: we pulled over to have a picnic lunch. The area was so idyllic that we decided to snorkel-saw some of the most beautiful things.
I don’t have any crazy beach stories- I’m too tame!
The best I can do is we found a whale jaw bone in the surf last year. Oh, and one year we found a dead shark washed up on the beach. Just a little one- about four feet long.
No wild beach experience lol but every time I decide to run away from adulthood, I always drove to the beach 😅
Love a good sunscreen
My umbrella blew down the beach in Hawaii and two stud guys chased it down for me while my husband looked on. Lol
I love Coola
Tulum MX beach, after dinner walk came across a huge sea turtle digging in the sand! She laid her eggs , covered them up and headed for the sea! This took her about 3 hours! Wild story! ( officials observe and mark the nest for protection)
My wildest beach moment was when a seagull game over my head and took the fish right out of my hand, scared the crap out of me, never ate fish on the beach again lol
Cutest spoons
Not a fun experience but it was wild!!! I got sepsis while in Cabo San Lucas and had to be airlifted home and was in the hospital for five weeks!
