Dear Ross , I appreciate, admire and respect your knoledge & lengthy experience as a Day trader. You are #1 in my point of view as a qualified level headed teacher for Day Trading. PLEASE DONT STOP making informational vids like this to the public. I still struggle to save enough to get my account to Open for day trading. Im super poverty but determined to succeed as a millionare.
I'm a new baby ,I loved your all video ,today was my first trade, in the morning I traded with my demo account with your strategy I made $150 ,after that eve I installed my real account initially good after some time I lost $40 at closing period, its my mistake even though I liked your all video hats Learning everyday thanks 😊
Thanks, Ross! I got total confirmation, that I am not a lunatic 😁 Regarding multiple indicators: I use a few (2x different MACDs, EMA, VWAP, Multi-Timeframe). Especially both MACDs are very important, because they have to give me the same signal (one earlier and the other later, which follows the WHOLE trend). Sometimes one of them gives misleading informations. The other tells me, that I have to stay the hell away from this "trend". The others give me confirmation, if it is even time to concentrate on this stock (EMA, VWAP and Multi). Every indicator has it's purpose and they work very well together. And no ... volume indicators are not part of my strategy, because the others give me the direction and the Candles are (as you said) tell their own story. Knowing the meaning of the different candle sticks and formations is very important. I often look for the ABCD pattern. When I reached the D point, I set my stop tighter. Happy trading everyone!
I was trading yesterday and made ab $400, but then lost $20'ish twice. I was on my phone and noticed I was on the 1 min chart and the day before I think it was this video where you said to keep an eye on multiple time frames, so I moved to the 5m and sure enough, it kept hitting the 200 EMA and wouldn't break. That's when a light bulb went off and things just started connecting in my brain from all your videos!!! SO... with the 4th of July sale and the $350 I had left from the day (and not lost more of thanks to seeing that), I have made enough to join the starter program rather than waiting til I had all the $$ for the pro... hopefully I can upgrade later vs the full cost. Like everyone else, I'm hoping to be one of the small percent who can become profitable! LOL So far I have used your free videos here to learn enough to use my profit to pay for the starter program... so it's kinda like a free membership!!! :)

I’m curious, I’m trying to be more of a trend trader. Should I read into daily candles as much? I prefer following moving averages and only buying into steady advances.
I like the using the 13/48 ema on the 3 min and 5 min. The 9/20 is faster though, I do get caught up watching rsi, macd and stoch more then the stock itself, thank you for the tips and morning streams! Keep up the good work and thanks again!!
That’s 100% correct and I think that’s also true the lot of other indicators candlestick shapes and volume profiles. If enough people see them they become well respected
Ross can you please tell me about the horizontal bars radiating out from the left hand side of the vertical side ir y axis dealing with volume. Also explain how to set up and read VWAP on your chart? Tanx meng.
nice video Ross, but I have a question: what do you think of a bull flag where the red pullback 5min candles are on high volume, but if you look closer, the volume is only on the small green 1min candles up within the red candle? is that bullish of bearish?
My vwap anchor point is set on 0 would you help me confirming if that is how supposed to be or if there is any setting or anchor point that should I use because it seems my vwap is never moving
Hey Ross. Thanks for yet another good video. Can you clarify your 9EMA? Say on a 5 min chart are you using a 5 period EMA or a 5 day EMA? Thanks again!
How do you overlay different time frame moving averages onto lower ones? Iike you said about the daily 200 moving average being over layed to the 1 minute time frame?
Hi Ross, been following you in the last few days. I'm trying to learn day trading. Thank you very much for your sincere honesty and knowledge based sharing and expertise.
In tradingview why does it ask for two input lengths for setting up moving averages, one of them under a heading called "smoothing". Which one do i input the 9 in? Hmm, setup ma 9 close 0 sma 9 and another on the same chart with ema 9 but the lines overlap on the chart completely, no difference.
I'm still a little confused about the MA's. So for example, would a 9EMA be the average over 9 candlesticks whether for the 1 min, 5 min, or daily, or do these numbers- 9, 20, 200- all represent a constant period of time respectively?
Ross' Exponential Moving Averages are: 9 EMA Gray (5 minute and daily charts), 20 EMA Blue (all time frames), 50 EMA Red (daily chart only), 200 EMA Purple (5 minute and daily chart), VWAP Orange (1 minute charts)
@@DaytradeWarrior You didn't read my question carefully, so i will try to reformulated. 1- Is its moving average exponential, simple or weighted?
