I got introduced to the series through Primal Fury when I was a kid and am still thinking about it today, so it's delightful to see people still thinking about it and hoping it'll come back. Thanks for this video! I'm fascinated by how hard it is to find lore and story for this series when it's got such interesting designs and ideas!
Same. I played it at a demo station and loved it. Would play it every chance I got until they switched it out. Never bought it since I didn't have a modern console at the time (I was stuck with an N64). Now that I'm older I need to track it down along with the others.

I thankfully never played 4... but certainly loved and cherished this series growing up. I would love to see a Bloody Roar: Definitive edition where it allows for all characters from the series to be played. The last entry I played was on the Gamecube as a youth. Primal Fury was the pinnacle of that game for me.

Bloody Roar 2 rules. It was the best one in my opinion. It was what I played when my sister or friends didnt want to play Mortal Kombat on my N64. I'd love to see that game come back somehow. I just want to play it

Bro played all of em and by far enjoyed 4 the most. The 1st is the best no doubt about it, but I spent days upon days on 4. Depending on how things ended up, it's difficult to always come up on top because of the health bars which made it fun for different types of players.

I owned the first bloody roar when it first came out, played it so much and loved it. Never played the sequels though.
I recommend Bloody Roar 2.
Primal Fury for GameCube was the one that I was most invested in..
And its the one that was best for me..with the introduction of Hyper mode and new characters such as Phoenix..
And the parry system made combat have even more depth when 2 decent players were going at it..
It had the best controls..
Pulling off Yugos endless "combo" or Phoenix move that made him stay in flight (if you knew how to do it)..
i liked 4...and 3 was my first BR game.
of course alot of it may be my bias because i like the Dragon.

Yes. PS1 emulator, epsxe 2.0.5 and the ps2 emulator, pcsx2.
Amazingly I’m surprised this isn’t a Japanese anime live action or otherwise the series was fun to play although I own a PlayStation 1 original o only played this when visiting others wildly I didn’t buy it on my own which o might now find a shame since I really liked it I bet if you turned this into a modern day anime or live action film it’s gonna be a hit cosplay toys tv series comics book series #konami
I think when they called Uriko 'Uriko the Cat', they meant 'house cat' or 'domesticated cat'. But that was probably too long and didn't flow as well as just 'cat'. Besides, there are THOUSANDS of house cat breeds ranging from the common European Shorthair to the Tabby to the Manx to the Turkish Angora.
There's just a LOT of different house cats out there and the creators just said "eff it!" and made her 'Uriko the Cat'.
Yeah, it's generic, but oh well. Her beast form is cute.
XD As an animal lover and video game enthusiast (as well as a Killing Bites fan), I grew to love the game series even though I've never played it. I appreciate the creativity of the producers & designers.

She was known as a 'fighting marvel' in the army, which is why her name was Marvel in japan. It was probably changed to Shina in the US to avoid copyright from Marvel Comics.
