Melee weapons need their own perks. A double slice/slash perk were you can get two quick back to back slices every 4th or 5th slash you do. An extended range perk using the same mechanic or just let us have better lunge animations

I have a theory that melee is affected by deadshots double damage, because the zombies he one shot were at full hp, while the ones he wasn't had some missing
The animations is a bit crap, you should removing limbs and heads with this.

Which one was awesome? I recall them both getting me killed way too often, whether it be swing speed or reload speed.
the reason it one hit near the head, is deadshot bonus activates on melee near head as well
it is only due to deadshot it does more damage, without it chest and head takes the exact same amount of damage, quite easy to figure out
Buffoons can't use their eyes smh
It's doubling the damage on criticals hits because of Deadshot thats why you sometimes one hit them.

For anyone trying to unlock the Wakizashi. In my experience doing Nuketown 24/7 was the fastest way. Took me probably less than an hour

im glad i came to this to see what the sword was like because there is not a chance in hell im unlocking that sword i hardly play multiplayer anyway and ive never gotten any assassinations in multiplayer heck i dont even know how to do an assassination let alone unlock the damn thing.
Deadshot doubles the critical hit damage on UNDAMAGED enemies.
So, if the zombies already had damage to them (because you're running Deadwire, and it's chaining to them) your crit damage looks like half because it's just the actual base damage without the perk buff.

I wish they would make a change. If you have speed cola and a melee weapon you should attack quicker since there is no ammo to reload
Out of all the season pass and weapons you gotta unlock through MP, This knife by far is my favorite even though it was a pain the damn ass it took me 3 days to unlock

That increase on damage for knifing the head is because you are using deadshot, you're knifing their head when they are full health so it does double damage.

Deadshot can proc on melee attacks, that is why it one hits sometimes and not others.

Nah I get "inconsistent" one shots without Deadshot. I don't grab Deadshot when I'm using melees.

I just have to say this but I got the raygun from a crystal in dark eather and then I got raygun from coffin dance Easter egg, so I had two rayguns by round 11

you can also just get the Pack that you bought to get the Kill Bill Skin. That gives you a legendary version. Instead of having to get all the assassinations

Pretty sure the headshot damage bonus is coming from deadshot likely an oversight 🤷♂️
I agree why do zombies players have to unlock weapons on multiplayer
I love the music at the start
Go into plunder solo. Use riot shield plus the cold war knife. Eod for explosive spam, restock to replenish stuns and throwing knives, tune up to quickly replenish field upgrade. Use dead silence. If you down someone you can do a takedown to finish them off and it will count. Also if you takedown while the shield is out it will still count towards the progress. Another tip I have is look backwards at the start when in the plane and wait for people to jump out and look for a solo. Exit the plane and land with the solo. Use the shield and stuns to get an execution. The player will probably get mad and return for revenge. Repeat the process until you have 2 takedowns. Check your progress in the create a class and leave the match if it has gone up 1. Make sure you have fill off when finding matches because you don't want teammates stealing your kills and leaving the match on randoms will affect their overall experience. Using this method I unlocked the weapon in about 2 hrs and had some funny reactions too.
I recommend playing cold war multiplayer though, if you are trying to unlock the sledgehammer because the double kills will come more naturally than plunder...

It’s the dead shot so if u damage before u hit with the sword it won’t do the extra damage
I think it should have blood on the sword. So like lvl 1 is none and then lvl 5 iit has a little blood and then 10 more blood and keeps going up
It's your dead shot bonus for hitting undamaged zombies with your wakizashi in the head. It's doubled
For me the whole painful sword grinding experience gave me a new character and an entirely new class.
Next weapon I suggest trying is the ak74u or mp5. The point masters of bo1.

Its because max points u get with kill is 115, is u see with guns u usually get 90 points and if u kill with crit it will give the last 25 pontis to make 115, because blades usually do 1 hit kills (regardless of damage numbers) , even if its 2 hits, you wills always get max points which 115 and knifes dont do crit damage
I guess because of the risk you take to stab they just give u full points

I want a claymore sword that’s high damage but slow, and when you packapunch it it can hit multiple enemies at once
They need to buff the range its less range than the knife
i know its to balance the speed online but in zombies it should be longer

The shock effect on your sword is stopping deadshot from increasing your damage. There's no body multipliers for melee weapons lol
Hey syndicate I feel like you should do more vids of you trying to get as high round as possible maybe using the die shockwave with the different elements
You had deadshot it gives increased heads hot damage to the head
You can use it without having to do the multiplayer games. You just have to have the blueprint for it

For those trying to unlock this weapon, the best way is to play "Nuketown 24/7" alot of people are actually going for it so expect other knifers.
It took me like 5 hours just to get the shotgun, they should really allow zombie players to unlock these weapons IN ZOMBIES
I did it on raid and that other map 24/7 it only took 1 and a half hours

It’s not faster than the default combat knife. Check the stats on both of them, the knife is faster but the sword has longer reach

I think it depends on the zombies Tom! The ones with no helmets seem to take so much less damage, the soldiers with helmets a small bit more and then obviously heavy armoured zombies, been noticing it a bit in my games
Can we just have seperate unlock challenges for each mode

For all of you struggling to unlock it, play combined arms domination and always make your way to the usual sniper camping spots off the start of the game. You can easily get it done in the 10 games needed. Good luck!
