For being such an old school design vs the 346, that poulan is awesome. Those final few generations of real poulan saws were very overlooked and get wrongfully lumped into the mix and viewed like the new throw-away poulans are.
Absolutely 💯 👍🏻👍🏻!!!!!! They are very overlooked by many and what's amazing is they still hang right in with all the modern saws, and some IMO are even better than the modern designs due to the not having all the "EPA" world saving technology lol
The 325 is a badge engineered 5500 Partner, and, you could actually bolt that top end on a 55 Rancher. Actually an interesting saw family there, including saws like the 490/590 Jonsered, Partner 500+ etc.
My Poulan is missing the one handle bolt on the side of the saw, any clue where i might be able to find one? I do not know much sbout the Poulan saws, but it runs great and i only paid 8 bucks for it.

I put a 346 top end on a 2700 poulan, hybrid.
It wasn't " plug and play. But not terribly hard.

It sure does. I am very happy with the way that saw handles, if it only had felling spikes it would be amazing.
