I was there in the beginning (1969-71) and I'm wondering if the old farmhouse/temple is still there...I built a few cabins for devotees back then.....Kirtanananda and Hyagriva were running it.......any devotees back then, let me know
The original temple is gone as are alot of the original things. Surta Kirti was just talking about the original temple being gone. I think it was called Bahoolabon

Maharaj Ji ko samajh na bohot hi jiyada moskil tha hain rahegaa. Liberals ke bajah se Iskcon family ko 90's main na he Visa milta tha or na he aaj milta hain per jo iskcon family Indian ku bahar respect deti hain iska koi jawab nahin. 😔

What happened with the golden ornaments of the Domes ? now the roof domes looks completely black ?

Great a Hindu tourist trap.... exactly as Prabhupada envisioned. SMH
I've lived by the palace my whole life and it's no trap you can visit and check everything out for free. Only thing you'd pay for is a room if you wanna stay or food at the restaurant. But it's a farming community really. Very nice in the summer but hard living in the winter.
