For those at home, that was 26 tokens and 4 Diaboromon on the field at the end, I believe. If he had the Promo Diaboro out, it would have had Security Attack +31. And if Quartzmon evolved, it would have gained 21 memory, and then trashed 8 Security in one attack. Yeesh!
Shakamon and most of the Journey to the West Archetype give Sec -1 Shakamon has lingering Sec -1 so Diaboro had to keep de-digivolving and wait till they ran out of stall to kill. You practically can't stall out this deck
At 4:14 Diaboromon should have played an extra token because Infermon dedigivolved Venusmon, so the [When Digivolving] was no longer prevented from activating
@colinsteve5832 memory setter t.k. so you can search your security and have a mem setter, the ukkos cause yeah, the old sanzo gokuu and sagomons for consistency, Valkyrimon and x program to get rid of big boards(which would have been useful here) both yellow mem boost and reinforcing for searching(and panic recovery with reinforce, and I personally use bt15 demimera for digieggs since the deck really needs to draw it's cards.

No the when digivolving effect is blanket effect so still cant activate

Not only did they play it terribly, but they also built it like shit as well. The deck has no reason to use stuff like bt8 kari and bt14 t.k.
