How Conan knew about it, I'll never know. But Kookaburras usually laugh at certain times of the day. Typically around dawn or sunset. You'll hear them laugh at other times but if it's dawn or dusk and there's a lot around you'll hear hundreds of them laughing (if you're in an area with lots of Kookaburras).

Kinkajo bears are very cute, but very busy, nocturnal animals. I had the pleasure of holding an adult for awhile. A woman purchased it, but insisted that she didn't require an enclosure for him. A few weeks passed by, she attempted to return the animal, but "all sales were final". She thought she could "convert" him from being nocturnal-which isn't conceivable, let alone doable. It was getting into everything as well-they're intelligent, highly curious critters. Needless to say it was a very expensive lesson for her to learn-to the tune of $5,000.00 (this was in 1994, I can only imagine what it costs today..
