  • What if we told you Tetris, the seemingly endless 80’s high score puzzler - could be beaten?
    What if we told you that for the first time in history, that happened.
    What if we told you the champion was just 13 years old?

    Blue Scuti isnt just any kid.
    In October, he placed 3-4th in the Tetris Wold Championship.
    His run also claimed the world record for high score in the game.
    He also didnt crash the game at the earliest possible moment, he messed up and kept playing, hoping for the best and lucked out my managing to beat the game at the second possible time.
    Also, the game was beaten again yesterday by Fractal, the person who won the Tetris World Championship back in October. Scuti was watching him play then decided to also stream his own run. Fractal lost his run and started a new one only to find out how far Sctui had gotten, so he stopped his own run to watch Scuti beat the game. Clearly loved watching it happen.
    Anyways, yesterday Fractal decided to give it another shot and was able to crash the game at the first possible instance, arguably the games first true speedrun.
    Its actually a really heartwarming story all around and i cant wait to see it develop even more.

Do you think the same amount of people are going to write his name in the searchbar as would click a readily available link to his content in the description box? I agree with the news lady... only people who think this is an achievement are people who don't see reality. Do you see how the kid almost had a heart attack over winning the game?? This kid had to of spent hours if not days doing this. I sound like a Karen but as a dad I can see first hand how unhealthy gaming like this truly is.

      I can understand you worry about the kid, but how can you side with the news lady and belittle the kid achievement?
      1 in 3000 Basketball players have a cardiac arrest every year, can you and that news lady tell Lebron to go and get a real achievement in life?
      Also, it looks unhealthy here because it's a world record that no human being on Earth has ever achieved. The kid isn't doing this every time he picks up the game.

    • @cc9787
      @cc9787 5 месяцев назад +2

      Only people who don't see this as a great achievement are boomers and don't understand reality as a whole.
      He's 13, what do you expect from him?
      The youngest Grand Master for Chess was a 12 year old, and people congratulated him, cause guess what? ITS AN ACHIEVEMENT, A WORLD RECORD. Same with the Darts master too, racing, eating, football, or any other kind of sport, how is this any different?
      "Its not healthy" bruh (and im really trying not to cuss here) racing is way more dangerous, so is football, or any other sport and they do practice the sport for 7+ hours everyday. How's one kid, who's just doing what he likes in the comfort of his home for just as long or less, "Not healthy"? Its the same with the people who play chess and darts, and that was congratulated just as much when they achieve something, im seeing double standards here. If you're talking about physical fitness here, to each their own, you or we don't know how they live, so don't speculate.
      All in all, its been a while since ive seen a boomer, dude, please try and adapt to the modern world, an achievement is an achievement, do not belittle it

    • @cc9787
      @cc9787 5 месяцев назад

      Also apparently someone didn't pay attention to biology or psychology classes
      The kid hyperventilating after getting such a great achievement is a normal reaction, people do it all the time, look at shows, streamers, or any other people celebrating
      Its either you jump up and shout out loud to get it all out of your system, or hyperventilate like the kid cause you don't want to make noise or move too much because you cannot contain the excitement
      "But I don't do that when i achieve something"
      Did you do it with stakes on the line? For 3+ hours? Dedicating the work to someone dead? Working your body and brain to the limit? While hundreds of people are watching?
      Didn't think so, its not the same as "Oh im working on a construction site so hard for the whole day and i finally got my paycheck" no, not the same

    • @cc9787
      @cc9787 5 месяцев назад

      Again, random dude on the internet here, sorry for another comment cause im too lazy to edit my other comments (don't ask me how)
      "First hand on how healthy gaming like this truly is"
      You really should research about how the average sports or even better, army, pushes its people to do their duties, they are forced to do their routine daily for hours and hours on end, while this kid, even if he grinds the game for 4+ hours straight, he can stop whenever he wants, rest however many hours he wants, don't do it when he doesn't feel like it, and just get it back up again when he feels like it. Seems way more healthy and manageable to me
      "But doing those routines done by the sports and armies are good for you body in the end" you might say... Dude, again, he's 13, WHAT do you expect from him? One Punch Man??
      Most of us we're running around and playing while we we're 13, not achieving anything
      So again, please be more open minded about things in general and not belittle achievements
      (Also i just want to point this out, i understand where you're coming from, I'm from a backwards society, so having boomer thoughts is in my genes, but i try to view things from both sides, and apparently, this achievement being celebrated wins)
