I like to watch these videos because they help me decide whether to visit a place or not. Rugby didn’t pass the test, l can’t see any reason to go. Nevertheless I appreciated the opportunity to see the town.
2022. Born in Rugby and still here 53 years later. Dont even recognize the ghost town it's become. There are more foreign accents than local ones and with very few places for kids to play they look for trouble instead. Known only for Rugby Football and its drug trafficking it's a shadow of a Town I used to love. Rugby has become another predictable, concrete jungle that, where industry used to thrive, is nothing but a warehouse for the midlands supply networks.
such an eye sore to watch!! Rugby town was once a very delightful town to grow up in!! not no more.. empty buildings.. just full of cafes, barbers and charity shops, everything you want is now just 2 mins down the road known as junction 1.. either that or get it online... xmas lights are outdated and there the same ones used for Divali celebration.. the town market is very poor and has gone downhill since moving from gas street and also now watched from the plastic town police (Rangers)!!! i never shop no more here and i always avoid it!!
I was born in Rugby and left in 1981. I only visited the Uk every couple of years to visit my family and now live in the Philippines. Every time i visited Rugby the town seemed to get worse and worse. As a child i remember that you could drive down Sheep street and High Street. Where are all the people?
