Girl saw Tiffany video, girl clicked, girl watched, girl happy☺️☺️
🤗😊
It's great to see you debut at renowned concert venues across major cities now that you have top-rated management with you. It's exciting to see where your touring will take you next, immersing more people in music, all while bringing us along here virtually.
I will ALWAYS get ready with you.
🥰
I was there, second row middle. It was amazing! Finally able to see you in real life after many youtube videos. Thanks for stopping by in our tiny country. See you next time!
Sat front row (seat 25), unfortunately missed the meetup afterwards because I had to catch the last train of the day back home. I believe I speak for everybody in the hall that night when I say we had the time of our lives.
Tiffany, thank you a billion times over! Come back soon!
Thank you many billions for being part of my Amsterdam night! 🙏 Hope to meet you next time!
Wonderful GRWM video w/all the travel & food bits that Tiffany weaves into the edit so seamlessly! 🤩
I loved the text descriptions during the piano selection! Great insight to your impressions!
Beautiful images thru-out, especially the Rijks Museum at the end! 💝🖌🎨
You have your music as works of art, and your videos as works of art...
Wow, I love these videos! Especially as a piano technician voicing the instruments, it is so interesting to see what you are focusing on when choosing an instrument. Thank you for sharing! 🙏❤️
I was there! I was at her London debut a few months ago. And, unbeknownst to her, I was also at her Amsterdam concert. True, it was only in my head - but as good as the London debut (which feet. fastest piano selection from Chopin's 24 preludes that I'd ever heard)
It is an amazing journey, the most unrealistic part is even I am a part of it!!!🙌🙌
Ive always loved that intro movement in C Major from the Well-Tempered Klaviar! Sophisticated in its simplicity... yet tells a whole musical story.
Yes - but without stressing the end note in each phrase, please. Making JS spin in his grave.
Crazy how different those pianos sounded. Love to see the updates
Love to see the differences between the Steinways (I can hear it, but don't always know exactly what you're talking about) 😂
Hi Tiffany, please keep uploading videos I'm looking forward to it so much!
🤓 I will try 🙇🏻♀️🙏💪
So shines a bright light in a darkening world
Wunderbar , das Präludium von Bach , ein Stück vom Regentropfenpräludium und dann zum Schluss noch ein kleiner Blick in Rijksmuseum und van Gogh Museum. Vielen Dank dafür liebe Tiffany.
I love your vlogs and music, they just give me so much joy. I don't mind watching all your video. Thank you for your kindness in making all these vlogs video and sharing your musician journey ❤
How wonderful this video starts with #1. My favorite classic: Bach's Prelude in C.
A lovely start to Sunday AM!❤
amazing! and it's so fascinating to see what it sounds like when a professional practices :D
I was in the front at ur concert i enjoyed it a lot!
Oh!! Thank you and I'm glad you enjoyed it - because you must have heard every single sound 😅
Oh, i wished I could hear you play the the "Raindrops" in full. You played it so beautifully.
isn't it here on her channel? she even has a vlog about it (Chopin "Raindrop")
Yes, she has an older video of Raindrop here on YT. Just search for 'Tiffany Poon Raindrop'. One of my favorites.
She did a livestream on Patreon when she first got her 1906 Steinway, and I requested she play Raindrop for us. It was great!
@@oxoelfoxo edit “in full here”
Thank you for sharing. It is a lovely way to start my Sunday. I am glad to hear you got such a warm reception.
Hi Tiffany,
I was able to go to your concert in Amsterdam and enjoyed it so much!
Wish I could have stayed for the meetup as well, but I had to catch the last train home. Your videos and concert have inspired me a lot as a young beginning piano student.
Thank you (:
Thank you for coming out on a late Monday evening! Hope to meet you next time and best of luck to your piano journey 🤗🎹 How exciting!
Love seeing happy faces of musicians & artists after the pandemic.
The pandemic finished 2-3 years ago. Are you aware?
@@PG-zt9nw Yup, she's just one of those late ones I've seen smiling.
Good luck Tiffany. Let the city of Amsterdam give you inspiration.
So great to see a new video!
Awesome video and I always love you sharing the process of selecting the right piano for you and making sure it brings out everything you want it bring. That perfect combination of the composition, the instrument, and the character and emotion you add to it is so amazing to see. (Saw you in San Francisco, hope to see an announcement for another opportunity on Doremi Classical soon!)
your scales are such a joy to listen to - they tickle my brain 🙂
It was a very beautiful, uplifting concert!! Thank you! 💓🎶🎶☀️
Thank you! I'm glad you felt that way ☺️
Great job capturing your concert set up/piano…. And the hall-city….love you
Love your wholesome vlogs they are super peaceful and fun to watch❤
🥰 Glad you feel so and continue to watch them! ❤️
Your piano playing is amazing as always!
Important elements to note: There is at least one pigeon in Amsterdam (or did you bring it along as a kind of prop ?); "found one of my favorite foods" 🤤just "one" of the favorites; even I could have told you you would pick the older one, you do like things that have had a life; I am so looking forward to the moment you decide the time is right for Goldberg, even the snippets of your Bach are exquisite, no rush, we are here for the journey not only for the destination. Once again a very enjoyable vlog and as Oliver Twist already said "I want more" 🙂
Amsterdam is a lovely place
Tiffany - We thoroughly enjoyed seeing you and listening to you in Amsterdam. The acoustics was quite good. Indeed, a warm sound. Greetings from Seattle!
Seattle in Amsterdam!? Cool. Thank you for coming to my debut 🙏
@@TiffanyPoonpianist - Wouldn't have missed it...
You're so good!!
very inspiring! 😊❤️
I don't travel anymore. That's why I have so much fun & joy watching your videos. I listen to your "Diaries Schumann" CD everyday. Thank you very much Tiffany.
Every day?!? 😱 I'm really glad you enjoy my Schumann album. Thank you.
Weldone 🎉
Keep up the hard work 💪👍
Classical music makes everything better. It is the only thing that will save humanity, I think... Thanks for this, you got my eyes full of tears at the end! -- Greeting from Haarlem, a few km off Amsterdam

Love these videos, hope i get to see you in concert one day Tiffany :)
Good to revisit Amsterdam with you. Many years ago we sang in choir concerts at various of the city churches and their was some Civil reception, Snaps and orange juice served. A boat tour, very popular with tourists, madeira cake and coffee served ! Finally a Buffet lunch and talk at a large hotel. We included Maastricht on the tour. Nice clips of Rembrandt and Van Gough self portraits at the end of the video. If your visiting the Rijks museum do welcome me along !
2:33 "2 hour long practice videos exclusively on Patreon"
Highly recommended!! 🤗
Your videos are so relaxing to watch for some reason, I love them, and love your work! I hope one day being able to attend one of your concerts!
응원해요. 티파니~~
Ty
Well done, and a lovely vlog. I don't know how you do that solo performance lark - I'd be terrified and want to run away and hide :)
Love tagging along with you on your journey. Curious about changing outfits for 2nd half. Did you always do that? When did your start. What was the impetus to begin. Does someone suggest it? Or is it an innate thing that happens along with professional progression? Never really understood the artists that change multipole times. When did that start being a practice? Not really expecting an answer - must musing the question that popped into my head.
Bonjour ma belle et talentueuse pianiste! Amsterdam, what a beautiful city and also what beautiful people. Precisely, my daughter leaves tomorrow to join her friend in Utrecht. Unfortunately, your concert will already be over. I would love to attend one of your concerts here in Montreal, Quebec, the largest French-speaking city outside of France. One day maybe! I like the artist but I also like the person you are, yes a lot.
That's very kind, merci. I hope to be invited to Quebec one day.
@@TiffanyPoonpianist one day, very soon i hope, I will be in the first row and I hope to see you when I tell you « bonsoir ma belle pianiste »!
Ar 14:32, there is me! With the blue shirt. Thanks for your signature!
Haha nice to meet you! 😊
holy cow... she is still improving!
I hope to always be improving 🙇🏻♀️🙏
@@TiffanyPoonpianist i really didn't think there was any room to improve after i watched you play that ravel... most difficult thing i ever saw!!!
I was there!
Thank you for coming!
Thank for sharing!
No empty seat👍
Pick different artists to perform for next concert yet🤔
May be next concert back in HK?🙂
Cutest pianist around.
very beautiful perform since Chopin Competition. im yr fan from Japan
That's a very long time, almost 10 years. Thank you ❤️
I could tell the difference even through my phone speakers…
As for the pianos, it’s really interesting that Steinway changed their design. The newer one has a different prop stick which told me it was a very recent piano, and I believe Steinway began using maple in the rim for pianos from both Hamburg and New York. Previously, I believe the Hamburg models used beech in the rim. Might this affect resonance? I’m not too sure, but I have been able to hear a difference between the older and newer models, even when they were both new.
As a side note, Steinway also began merging the aesthetics of their pianos with the New York models - the newer New York models, while they still have their characteristic sound, now have the same prop stick (which is slightly different from the older models) and rounded arms as the Hamburg models.
Tiffany are you planning on recording Kreisleriana anytime soon? It's my favourite piece by Schumann. Sehr Aufgeregt is my absolute favourite it brings me to tears.
glgl, you got it :D
I just finished watching the Mozart practice video-3 days before concert and it was so intense and fun watching. Mozart is my favorite and you play his music so well!!! Will you be practicing more Mozart anytime soon?
Even all the in video comments you made I completely agreed with, that’s so cool to see
I keep adding comments but that video was so amazing, it was from 3 years ago though but the 9 minute practice session felt like a whole entire concert, before watching it I felt it was gonna be boring but wow!!!! That piano sounds so uplifting!!! It’s like watching Sharon kam play Mozart’s clarinet concerto!!!
I was in Amsterdam for 5 days this week, what a coincidence
today the Muziekgebouw, tomorrow the Concertgebouw
I love your Performance ❤ you are so Good ❤. I subscribed to your Channel ❤. 😅🎉🎉🎉 i enjoy your Channel every day Long ❤🎉

You're great! How many hours of work, only just for music!!! ❤ Of what age You started playing on piano,Tiffany??😮
I like sir a lot more than kid!
🙂🙏
Come visit İstanbul. It’s the best city in the world. I promise. 🙂
Please tell us when you will be recording the Chopin preludes and nocturnes?
Is there an album with you playing la campanella? If there isn't there should be 🤔
❤
Besides the important question on if you enjoyed visiting: Did they get you stroopwafels, or need there be apologies?
Also: sorry you didn't get to see sunset over Amsterdam, but you got the famous 'skies over Holland' instead. Those made our painters famous.
Merci !
Hello Tiffany I’ve been wanting to ask lots of pianists about there opinion about Cziffra. And if they’ve ever considered learning his pieces because some of them are flashy as heck, could I ask for your opinion of Cziffra?
I admire his nonchalant effortless attitude of playing and flirting with the piano. He seemed like a fun person. I will never be able to play his technical pieces the way he did and I'm okay with that. I was never the technician anyway...
@@TiffanyPoonpianist Nonchalant effort really are one of his traits when performing, well said, I hear some people when reacting to Cziffra and they always talk about how he can play a piece so effortlessly. And thank you for responding.
When learning of a new playing environment, to hear what it sounds like for the audience, do you ever get someone else to play/hit the keys and you listen from the audience seating?
I'm often alone, so no. My clapping helps to feel how much feedback the hall acoustics gives me, but also everyone plays the keys differently, so it wouldn't help too much...
Question related to your selection process from a mechanical engineer: do pianos get better with age?
Personally, I think so. More broken in and more resonance... Though some old pianos can still be worse than younger ones.
noice
It looks like she has a good memory and doesn't need music.
Playing in a hall bigger than your home???
You live in a "tiny" apartment as you mentioned in previous videos. I'm confused
My home is indeed tiny and since I'm used to playing (practicing) in such a small space, I have to remind myself that sound will travel longer in a bigger hall when I perform.
@TiffanyPoonpianist ohhh now I understand. That makes perfect sense. Some day, I hope to be able to see you perform, in person. I look forward to that day.
Toi toi toi, Tiffany! Thanks for sharing.
